TRi has been opened for quite some time and I finally had the chance to go with a close friend of mine for brunch. The moment we walked in, we were captured by the beautiful decor of the space. We were quickly sat at one of those nice pods which gave my friend and I great privacy for girl talk. Service was excellent and food was divine. Who would have thought Balinese food and restaurant could feel as exquisite as this? Totally recommend it to couples and friends who wants a nice chill-out area

The tables and chairs are all bamboo based with sofa pads allowing patrons to indulge with natural earth tone vibes with dimming lighting making it perfect for a candle light dinner. There are "cabinets" on side create the over the water tables. They give the exotic feel of being in Bali whilst also serve the purpose of privacy for those who sit inside.

Food/Menu
The food is basically seafood based with options for beef, pork, chicken for the carnivores. I tried the grilled scallops, prawns and crab with fried rice by the recommendation of the wait staff. The menu comes with bi-lingual in English and Chinese.

Waitstaff - v chilled, friendly customer services
Very helpful on advising on the selection of food to be combined with order from the wine menu not to mention the cheerful smiles and patience they had when serving my table and my requests.

Overall
-ideal for dates who want some privacy, group of friends
- those who look for a quiet dinner with exotic decorations
- at the heart of the beach side area of South Island, Hong Kong
- pricing was between HKD100-300 per dish; about HKD400 per person w/o alcohol

同老友完海玩完wakeboard, 一入到餐廳, 有一個corner位我相信只係飲野 ,跟峇里海邊餐廳的設計一樣,十分有小島風情。 餐廳每逢週末的 Weekend Champagne Lunch 香檳是任飲, 如果飲唔到酒精的朋友, 就換上兩杯鮮榨果汁代替, 先上芋頭脆片小食, 食住等 朋友叫的主菜:海鹽慢煮牛肉,鎖得肉汁好緊 ,肉的質地好嫩滑,帶出慢煮的好味之處。 但我叫的魚 ,就太過乾身了有少少柴皮感覺 唔係咁大胃口的人就啱啱好, 男士就話食到到喉唔到肺 最後會上一個飯,畀你填埋個肚, 但係嗰兜飯擺盤就非常一般 ,好似啲老媽子隔夜雪櫃飯咁攞出嚟! 朋友見咁嘅樣,未飽都唔想食。但最後的甜品賣相幾好 味道亦都唔錯!

主菜方面亦十分高水準,大廚很有經驗,火喉掌握得不錯,肉類香脆肉質嫰滑,醬汁也有畫龍點睛之舉,椰奶及燒烤醬調製而成的咖喱汁,很有東南亞的風情。

The weekend champagne brunch offers you a fine version of Indonesian food that has a fusion twist to it. Despite not a big fan of fish but the Turbot prepared with Indonesian spices were stunning and the main course, the roasted beef is a perfect demonstration of how fine their food can be here. This will be a good place for a weekend getaway.

Been to there twice, both times sat in pod large & small.  One booking I reserved the pod while another not, I guess the pod are getting too popular they are running out,  agreed they should have better management. My tips: in fact the large pod is not that comfortable, the table is quite low compare to  the seat with a distant, it's more suitable for drinking than eating, it makes me always sitting at the very edge of the cushion to eat,  the small pod is better in such scale. The food is fairl

I've never been serious upon their causal services despite it could be better. The staff provides me sarong to cover my skirt in order to sit on the pod, not too bad. I hope they are renovating more pods to meet the demands, to build more pods along the wall side shading with greens or bamboo looks good as well.

In a whole, it's place I recommend to try out, overall experience is nice an unique.

記得去年是偶然在雜誌看到TRI的廣告 一看之下被吸引住了

馬上決定要帶上華僑媽媽來這裡一試

家母年紀大 本來一聽到餐廳遠在淺水灣 立刻耍手兼拎頭

小妹花了好一番唇舌才成功說服家母移駕淺水灣

記得初時數次致電店家想訂位時皆無人接聽 但店家也很貼心地有回電詢問 值得一讚

可能是平日的關係 中午來到時 我們是場內唯一的客人

餐廳地方大 環境一流 店家提供非常寬敞的獨立雅座 私隱度很高 直望窗外風景

但雞肉煎得剛剛好 肉質嫩滑

主食方面個人覺得選擇實在有點少

只有白飯和炒飯兩項選擇

蔬菜選擇更是只有一種 炒通菜
印尼通菜通常以蝦醬炒為主 但店家選用以甜醬油和蒜作醬汁

雖然印尼大部份地區都嗜甜 包括家母和印尼工人姐姐 嗜甜程度實在可怕 (平時一杯奶茶竟然落三至四包糖

但此醬汁連家母都覺得偏甜

完滿結束淺水灣之行

由於家母是印尼華僑 家中亦有印傭姐姐 小時候暑假又常常陪家母回印尼

小妹自幼便常吃印尼菜 對印尼菜特別有一番情意結

抱著吃印尼菜的心態光顧 難免失望

店家雖打著印尼菜的旗號 實際把印尼菜完全西化 幾乎完全吃不出印尼的感覺

但雖然咸食不如期望 甜品卻令人相對喜出望外

開在淺水灣 價錢固然不便宜 環境一絕 但不會回頭了

Extremely poor service.  Would advice you to avoid this place for important occasions.  The restaurant was renovating until the 11th Feb, and the online reservation system simply did not work.   Still, I emailed them 3 weeks prior to the date and had the reservation confirmed.  I was even told I would be able to get a signature lili pod table.   But somehow, they called on the day of my booking ( on Valentines!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and suddenly told me that they couldn't provide me with a private table.

The decor is very nice, shame it is being run by very poor management.   Not worth the money.

I would absolutely not recommend anyone to try to come to Tri, especially if you don't live in Repulse Bay. Service was very unprofessional - they can't even handle reservations properly. It was a special occasion, and we had booked a table in advance, specifically for one of their impressive-looking pods shown on their website, which are inside a shallow pond by the window. It was a special occasion, and we had booked a table in advance, specifically for one of their impressive-looking pods shown on their website, which are inside a shallow pond by the window. When we arrived, they sat us inside the restaurant on a normal table (no pod, away from the window). When we told them how we specifically reserved the pods, they only replied that they are now full. Ridiculous. I doubt they ever made the proper reservation to begin with, and expected us to take what we can get. We left, and I wouldn't waste my time with this restaurant again.
