之前試m經過灣仔的Verde MAR 家人一直嚷著要試下墨西哥地道菜式,上個星期終於有時間一起過來試一下不同菜式。我們點了每人一份辣肉腸quesadilla 墨西哥夾餅跟我share,裏面餡料豐富,辣肉腸不會太辣,而且鹹度始終,配上軟皮夾餅不錯。我最喜歡Verde MAR 的其中一點就是Guacamole 及以牛油果入饌的菜式全都分量十足,在香港能食到新鮮Guacamole 真的很難喔~ 這款夾餅裏面亦都好多牛油果,好好味~ 不過好像不是很多香港人會欣賞牛油果的口感及味道侍應在我們猶豫點餐時一直推介新菜式 Chicken Wings Habanero,據説是由世界第二辣的辣椒烹調而成的,我們當然要給愛辣的哥哥試一下!一上檯鷄翼的醬汁看上去比我想象中的沒那麽辣,有別於四川及印度的麻辣菜式。怕辣的我衹是用叉子輕輕沾上一點醬汁,已!經!辣!到!不!行!了!果然是名副其實世界第二辣的辣椒!爸爸卻能一個人完成3整隻雞翼,真的令我難以置信..真的太辣了!馬上叫了一杯肉桂米漿的飲品Horchata來解解辣,世界第二辣的真的不能講笑!(這horchata 味道甜甜的有濃濃的米味,我覺得比牛奶更解辣)我

我們亦點了Seafood Paella 海鮮飯。大家看到上面有好多海鮮喔!分量十足,而且飯底完全吸收了海鮮的鮮甜味道,一大盤就最適合share 了~大家都非常滿足!

這碟像中國菜中的叉燒炒蛋。用上牛肉絲來炒蛋,還另外加了點辣椒使更惹味。

伴碟有薄餅和同樣的班豆蓉。薄餅可夾著碟上所有食材來吃。

細問下得知班豆是從西班牙運來的班豆,再攪爛成豆蓉。

味道算清淡但不失濃郁的豆香,用作伴主菜不錯。

於我而言,西班牙的班豆就像是中國人的米飯,用作伴以主菜來吃。

Brunch有優惠,$98可有杯Margarita & Sangria的酒精飲料。

最近發覺大家都流行寫食記, 那我也重新寫多點飲食文跟大家開心share啦上月朋友相約去灣仔的verde MAR吃墨西哥菜印象中是第一次去吃墨西哥菜有些少期待, 也上網做做research看看餐廳有什麼招牌菜之類餐廳門口很開揚, 內裡裝潢帶點文族色彩覺得倒有趣的是牆上的蜥蝪裝飾~而枱與枱之間都有點距離, 感覺蠻舒適的不用想, 二人就來個dinner set for two啦~以為墨西哥菜的食物都是辣的, 原來不是~順帶一提的是餐廳很周到地有素食套餐提供喔!前菜可選兩款, 第一樣先來的是軟皮夾餅饀料亦可以選兩款, 我們點了烤魚柳和素菇精緻的夾餅上面舖上了我喜愛吃的牛油果醬不拘謹的話用手拿著夾餅食會份外滋味, 一口便能品嚐所有饀料的味道第二款主菜是我們都感到非常新奇的烤仙人掌扒之前從來沒吃過, 原來吃落是爽口的味道有點似秋葵和蘆薈的混合版, 很清新, 可一吃再吃~就當它是一塊steak來切開一塊塊吃吧^^而店員其間送來一碟Chicken Wing Habanero不要以為是普普通通的一碟雞翼, 這可是用了世界第二辣的辣椒炮製出來的我向來吃不到辣的, 只是淺嚐一口醬汁, 已經感受到那種超超超辣

覺得倒有趣的是牆上的蜥蝪裝飾~

饀料亦可以選兩款, 我們點了烤魚柳和素菇

精緻的夾餅上面舖上了我喜愛吃的牛油果醬

不拘謹的話用手拿著夾餅食會份外滋味, 一口便能品嚐所有饀料的味道

之前從來沒吃過, 原來吃落是爽口的

不要以為是普普通通的一碟雞翼, 這可是用了世界第二辣的辣椒炮製出來的

我向來吃不到辣的, 只是淺嚐一口醬汁, 已經感受到那種超超超辣的威力

朋友仔很厲害吃下兩隻, 倘若我吃下的話一定會辣到跳墨西哥舞XDXD

這個豬肉吃落都夠味, 不過肉質如可以再嫩滑一點會更佳

所以個人較喜歡吃烤雞多點呢~

飲品方面都幾特別的, 看menu都有數款墨西哥受歡迎的street drinks

左邊那杯是我的rice cinamon drink - Hurchata

喔~~很好喝! 帶點甜甜的米水味道, 有點像韓國的米水,

但多了種類似椰汁的味道, 讚~

右邊那杯是朋友的Coquito, 是椰子rum drink~

很特別, 值得一試~

最後怎少得甜品一環, 點了兩份一齊share來吃

墨西哥香蕉船, 跟平時食開的香蕉船不同之處, 這個香蕉是烤過的

暖暖的香蕉再伴冰凍的粟米和白米味雪糕吃, 很滋味呀!!

推介這道甜品! 不過就要吃快一點, 因雪糕會被熱溶喔~

我倆超級期待的一道菜~~~~~~

小小一顆的仙人掌我見得多, 咁大仲要食得既真係第一次!!!

味道好得意, 因為外皮有烤過, 有點甜青椒的味道~

入便的質地就是蘆薈+秋葵, 味道不重, 都算爽身~~XDXD

店主還送了一份雞翼給我倆!!

原來是餐廳新炮製的超級辣墨西哥雞翼~~

墨西哥辣椒是出名數一數二的辣, 這叫我們兩位小女生怎受得了喔喔喔喔~~~

店主還說有別的女生挑戰, 一口氣吃了全碟都面不改容~

我嚐了半隻雞翼已經覺得火燒喉嚨!! 媽呀!!

怪不得他見我們點的飲品, 直說點得好~ 原來是要來解這個辣 XD!!

如果你愛辣, 絕對要去挑戰一下喔!!

用香料醃製過的豬肉, 好入味好腍, 再用烤的方法可以帶出原始鮮味!

但, 這烤的 - 超。級。嫰。滑!!!!!!!

油份不多, 我用手撕的方式來"解決"~ 好易就撕開來!!

味道好, 食物特別, 服務也很好, 環境relax, 音樂也令人很放鬆!!

The sangria was allright, but just as the dishes left some to be desired, which is to bad when its really not that hard of a beverage to make really yummie and flavourful.

We did not get any kind of compensation.

Finally, really overpriced and disappointing experience, we will not be coming back here..

You just simply deserve something more after a morning workout session...yea I know it is a bit evil for 1 people portion but you would not miss the chance to try this chips with guacamole. The chips have a nice crunch and the guacamole is full of tomatoes. The creamy guacamole just matches so well with the crispy chips. The drink, Horchata, tastes really sepcial with a really strong rice flavour and super fragranted with cinnamon (omg this is just perfect for me as a cinnamon super fan!) I am super satisfied with their brunch...YUM.

香辣紅魚刺身

舊同事說一定一定要試這個刺身,這個刺身很刺激的,

用上刺身級的紅魚,再用秘製醬汁醃製,

咬一口魚身,它的質感是軟稔的,接著辣味慢慢滲出來,又不會完全蓋過了魚肉的鮮味。

這個是舊同事預先訂的辣雞翼,我們這次來就是為了這個辣雞翼

因為這個辣雞翼是採用了世界第二辣的辣椒來煮,

正正是為了它而來的,來挑戰一下這個辣雞翼,

朋友是個超會吃辣的,她說一入口不是很辣,到最後會有點辣,

我這個不太吃到辣的人就覺得非常非辣!!

整個口都發熱,唇都都發熱了,不過味道很好吃的,

辣味會慢慢滲出,之後會越食越辣,但超過癮,好吃啊!

餐廳的裝修都幾有墨西哥味道,原來主廚也是來自墨西哥,所有食物都是主廚的家鄉菜。對於第1次食墨西哥菜,感覺都幾喜歡,食物不會只是辣味,原來都會有生的食物菜式。飲品味道都幾特別,有點像泰式和西式混合了一樣,都幾有新鮮感。價錢方面相對於食西餐高了點,但以那麼少數菜式來說又不算貴,如果不是朋友帶來,都不能食到墨西哥菜的味道。

今日放工....行行下就搵到間墨西哥菜..就入黎試下...一坐低就睇下墨西哥菜既餐廳裝修會係點?但睇落個環境都幾GRAND喎...一入到去就有好多外國人坐左係到LU一去到就腸下個MENU....首先我嗌左杯Mojito-88蚊佢呢杯Mojito同平時落酒吧飲既有D唔同架....佢底下放左好多砂糖係到...嗯,,,如果怕肥既女生..會應該唔係咁鐘意.....哈哈...之後再嗌左個【墨式烤雞半隻】佢呢個墨式烤雞真係超讚好...首先誚講份量...就算佢得半隻..都唔會話太小...一撕開佢..再咬一啖...勁滑...之後仲配埋個墨西哥飯架...但我覺得個口感有小小似印度果D炒飯啊..跟住就嗌埋一個【墨西哥arrachera牛扒】墨西哥野其實都幾多汁料跟架...呢個牛都配左好多汁料跟...有蕃茄汁....又有洋蔥...講番個牛...好重牛味...我地嗌左七成熟...一切既都仲生生地喜愛牛既我覺得超正...佢面頭仲灑左D海鹽係到...好好味呀....之反再嗌多左個甜品..佢係一個焗香蕉黎既...面頭再擺左一個椰子雪糕加corn雪糕....好好味呀..佢個椰子正糕超好味....但稍為厭佢...香蕉焗
