To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

趁長假期到t hotel staycation,一嘗餐廳的晚餐和早餐。😋酒店地理位置不在繁華的鬧市,眼見住客大多為本地人來度假。因完成水療後也不想到處逛,大約八點多才到餐廳晚膳,因只有單點菜式,點了一個前菜和兩個主菜,大約四百多元非常超值!早餐則希望留在房間享受美景,因此叫來room service,價錢統一為HK$75一份,也屬超值之選!餐廳雖為訓練餐廳,但水準及質素之高,令人頗有驚喜。若果可安排不定期轉菜單,吸引力必定大大提升。 continue reading

這間餐廳位於職業訓練局薄扶林大樓之6樓,今次因為在這兒 Staycation,所以順便在這兒食早餐,餐廳的侍應生十分有禮, 充滿熱誠 。 由迎賓丶帶位至下單, 喜歡他們的不忙不急, 細心為你下單, 講解每一個細節 。 而且餐廳用全落地玻璃的設計, 由薄扶林至數碼港的美景一覽無遺。早餐有兩款選擇: Continental breakfast HKD50 & American breakfast HKD80.  我們點了 American breakfast, 質素絕對是中上, 炒蛋細滑, 麵包鬆軟, 腸仔肉質有咬口, 煙肉煎得 剛剛好,唔乾身。 如果大家在公眾假期入住, 餐廳只提供早餐服務, 營業時間由上午7時30至10時30分。 continue reading

職訓局 (VTC) 在薄扶林設立了「The T Hotel」(T = Training),用於培訓酒店餐飲業的學員。酒店內設中西餐廳,「西式訓練餐廳」是其中之一。餐廳內部裝潢帶點會所風格,環境舒適。餐廳設有一個小露枱,可享數碼港寧靜的海景景緻。晚市餐廳沒有任何預設餐單,食客可在兩頁餐單中自行拼湊喜歡的菜式。首先送上的是一籃小麵包,內含多種款式,出品微暖。每個麵包的體積不大,一氣享用多款也不覺負擔。整體而言,這籃麵包的評分出色,應脆得脆,應軟得軟。部份風味款式如蔥油包更多帶一份惹味感。頭盤方面,小編選了「Prosciutto di Parma」及「Chicken Caesar Salad」兩道沙律共享。「Prosciutto di Parma」用上的巴馬火腿雖然未有採用熟成度高的款式,但其不俗的鹹香滋味仍見吸引。沙律以帶甜的黑醋調味亦屬增分點。「Chicken Caesar Salad」羅馬生菜選材新鮮,烤雞的肉質亦較預期理想。「Cream of Potato and Cauliflower」及「Mexican Tortilla Soup」屬是日餐湯。前者擁有平衡的薯香及椰菜花甜蜜味道,湯汁亦打得夠滑。後者屬菜湯一款,輕帶微辣感能喚醒沈睡了的味蕾。主菜「Pan-seared USDA choice Nebraska Sirloin Steak」約煎煮至六七成熟,切面呈粉紅色,另有微量肉汁溢出。西冷肉味不俗,另因西冷扒中內含少量脂肪夾層,食用起來份外香口。倘若能增加西冷的肉汁份量,相信效果會更理想。甜品「White Chocolate Millie-feuille」以白朱古力作「餅底」夾層,再配合香草豆蒄忌廉作餡。雖然另配紅莓,個人還是覺得味道偏甜,甜品賣想色調偏白。另一甜品「Baked Apple Pie」主體蘋果批做工鬆化帶脆,配搭香滑香草雪糕,評價理想。整體而言,雖然「西式訓練餐廳」只是一個訓練場地,但不論環境及菜餚也有不俗的質素。侍應學徒們服務有點生手可以理解,服務總評方面仍然滿意。有機會會再來試試此酒店的中菜。 continue reading

早前獲得朋友邀請,有機會到位於薄扶林VTC廚藝學院的「西式訓練餐廳」一嚐學員親手製作的午餐。平日呢度只限TDS The Dining Society的會員食膳,所以機會實在難得😉午餐分為3-Course ($130) 同4-Course ($140),當日選擇了3道菜,Menu上除寫上每道菜的食材外,更註明了每道菜的卡路里含量,讓食客食得更健康既名為學生訓練餐廳,據餐廳經理(學生導師)所講,同學由前期功夫如菜式設計、食材預備、設計餐牌及平衡食物營養;到即場為食客介紹、落單上菜及最重要的烹調工序,都係由呢班廚藝學生一手一腳完成。同學當日為我地介紹餐單時有板有眼,仲清楚介紹埋食物營養及食材產地來源等,態度專業👏🏻很喜歡他們的餐前餐包,款式多味道亦佳,餐包很夠熱估計是新鮮出爐,當中尤其一款酥皮包最好味Appetizer: Tuna Tartare with sake-soya dressing and salad bouquet 前菜賣相比想像中更精緻,睇得出同學對食物擺盤有下過心思。吞拿魚蓉筋少而脂肪多,口感豐腴細滑,魚味香濃;另外巧妙地混合了青瓜粒和芝麻,令口感味道有更多層次的變化,青瓜的清爽亦平衡了魚的肥美。醬汁是西日fusion風格-以清酒配鼓油,咸中帶著一陣清酒的甘甜淡雅;配菜的沙津菜新鮮爽脆,以青瓜薄片捲著蟹子,令前菜顏色配搭更好、更顯精緻Main Course: Daily Carvery Special開始邪惡的食肉環節,同學即席由餐廳一角的carving station 為我地切開豬手再澆上燒汁及法式芥末籽醬,豬手肉味濃郁、同學切得厚度適中,但稍嫌筋位太多,有點難以咀嚼。但整體豬肉質素、醬汁調味、配菜種類及味道、菜式賣相等仍然令人滿意Desert: Strawberry Vacherin with Fruit Sauce這是一道以士多啤梨為主題的冰凍甜點,有點像法式雪糕蛋糕,Vacherin口感冰凍輕盈、酸酸甜甜,正好可以平衡主菜的油膩感 — 外層是蛋白脆餅,包裹著中間冰凍的士多啤梨口味雪糕,食時再配以新鮮士多啤梨果蓉及果醬,滿滿的🍓🍓幸福滋味最後以一杯熱咖啡作結,看到呢班廚藝學生充滿熱誠活力,可以找到自己的興趣發展為事業真好☺️ continue reading

朋友今日約左黎T Hotel食飯,餐廳位於山上並且對住海景,景觀一流由於呢度係俾學生實習既酒店,所以價錢抵食之餘食物都有番相當水準但要提一提既係呢度只招待會員既~ Sous-vide lined cod $160鱈魚入口油潤,而且一點腥味都無。Risotto煮得啱啱好,粒飯少少硬身,個汁好CreamyAngus Beef Burger $95好足料既Burger,漢堡扒夠juicy,煙肉煎得香脆;溶喺Burger上面既芝士都好吸引。稍為不足之處係牛油果唔係太夠Ripe,同埋麵包可以烘烤耐啲。Coleslaw既沙律汁太酸,著條係幼薯條,口感不及粗薯好。餐牌整體黎講以環境及食物質素黎衡量既話呢度係性價比好高 好想再番黎食鱈魚呀~ continue reading
