It is slightly cold today, and I happened to read about this restaurant on Openrice the other day, so I decided to give it a go as it is not that far of a walk from where I work.
Ordered the signature "Raw Egg & Beef" clay pot rice, where the egg was cracked right on top of the cooked rice into the pot. Beef was average as expected, the rice was all nicely seperated and didn't stick together, which is always a plus for clay pot rice. Point to note, there wasn't any burnt rice at the bottom of the pot, some people prefer having those crunchy bits, but I can do with or without, so it didn't bother me.
In conclusion, this restaurant doesn't worth anyone to travel all the way here if you are not around the area, but if you are around, you should drop by and decide if it's worth the money, mind you I only ordered one pot of rice and it was $53, didn't even come with a drink.
Would definitely try something more flavourful next time and try out their canto style milk tea too, since there were newspaper cuttings on the wall saying they make some good tea.
