今日去左灣仔嘅榮華飲茶,呢邊大多數都係做街坊生意,所以野食就唔係特別好味,環境普通,來呢度飲茶目的都係想感受留香港嘅老情懷,呢間野最特別嘅地方唔係D點心反而係呢度嘅炒物,如果係要選一樣最好味嘅就一定係干炒牛河。油度適中,牛就炒得剛剛好,仲係好嫩香港大排檔嘅老火味,可以係黎度搵到。所以來呢度食野,一定係要選呢類型嘅炒物。

間野係我公司個頭, 所以有時想買外賣都會去呢度, 除左飲茶, 其實打公仔可以係佢樓下買飯盒架, 好想讚下佢d飯盒平均都係22元一個飯, 唔包飲品既, 平時最愛佢既鳳爪排骨飯外賣, 佢真係成個盎去蒸, 你叫外賣時佢會掉個蒸飯去個外賣盒度比你, 加d豉油, 但佢既鳳爪排骨飯我特別中意食既原因係因為, 佢d飯唔會無味得豉油味, 佢真係有鳳爪排骨既香味架, 我由20蚊食到佢加到22蚊, 仍然都咁中意食佢, 除左呢個, 我仲試過荷葉飯, 仲有梅菜扣肉飯, 二個都可以一試, 不過打公仔想食lunch買外賣? 可以去試下個鳳爪排骨飯呀, 如果太遲買有時真係會買曬架

Came here for dinner with my dad. This is an old restaurant and can't expect too much with its decoration, and environment. We were seated on the ground floor, which was nearly full when we left.

Just the two of us, and we could not order much. My dad was very interested with lobster with noodles (薑蔥焗龍蝦伊麵底), so we ordered one (at $198). We also ordered 草姑介菜膽 (don't know how much).

The lobster arrived quickly. The size was reasonably big and was rightly cooked. Meat was chewy and fresh. However, the noodle was broken into pieces. Having said that, I think the dish is value for money.

The vegetable arrived later, which also tasted good to me. The portion was a bit too small though. The most disappointing thing should be its price. I end up paying $310. The vegetable may be in the range of $60 to $70.

The service was good, as my dad was a regular patron there. No complaint.

當你很努力地尋找再興的龍尾時,不妨看一看一條比較短的龍,就在左近。我說的就是榮華大酒樓,酒樓下面有很多不同款式外賣如蒸飯栗米肉粒飯,荷葉飯等等。而我,最鍾情還是它的鳳爪排骨飯。一直喜歡一些較淋的東西,所以對鳳爪是一直的喜愛,這家做的鳳爪也是預期中的入味,有一般酒樓的水準,加上鳳爪肥一點,皮位多一點。一向不喜歡排骨,不明為何鳳爪一定是配排骨,今次又想把它視作後備。但一咬下去,感覺大不同,那個汁本身就很夾排骨,加上肥位多,咬下去軟綿綿的,肉質不會又鞋又硬,原來排骨也可以好味的。大部份不過二十三元,又一家好吃又抵吃的推介。

It was quite busy for a weekday 7:30 dinner, we got one of the last table. This is not the cleanest of restaurant but acceptable. I was craving Chinese sausage clay pot rice so we end up ordering a Duck Liver chinese sausage with Preserved Duck rice, Oil Soaked Fish(really is deep fried), BBQ Pork and seafood vege of the day.

The Sausage was delicious, but we questioned if they actually put the meat inside the rice to cook at the same time. The rice was not as good as I was hoping for. We complained about the duck being too fat. We basically only got 3 pieces that has meat and edible, the rest is mostly skin and fat. When we ask what kind of vegetable they will give, the waitress basically said you get what you get! It was pretty much a puddle of think sauce with little bit of seafood over napa cabbage, dissapointing although it was cheap.

Fish was decent but my mom said since the fish was a little small, there were not much meat. But the flavor and the sauce was simple and light. Most of the bones were crispy from deep frying but there were still quite a bit of bones.

The BBQ pork was really tender, lean and flavor was great! We all agree it was the best dish of all.

Overall, it was a normal meal, would come back for just the BBQ and preserved meat stuff. After all it is one of their famous items. Do not expect to be treated super attentive and not sure if they have English or picture menu for Westerner.

整個食飯的過程中,兩位朋友一直在建議及估計我的榮華的食評的標題,什麼"再訪榮華","腸粉醬油不上色"等等。與其係咁,倒不如......不設標題。兩位教師朋友仍然在享受其悠長暑假,趁路經灣仔,就約小弟去食個lunch,我當然欣然應邀出席。叉燒腸,自行淋上醬油,味道夠但總不上色,相信是用了生抽。說回腸粉,皮偏厚亦不滑,叉燒都只係一般,稱不上是好。雞扎是我的至愛,這樣是用傳統的配料,腐皮、火腿、雞肉,我總覺得傳統的配搭是最好的。現今的雞扎,用什麼淮山、叉燒做材料,一塌胡塗。近年好少食到麻蓉飽,見到呢度有立即叫一籠。飽身還算鬆軟,麻蓉好香,也很喜歡其起沙般的口感,雖然是好漏,都要多食一個。油菜太硬,蝦餃和菜苗餃因有蝦我都冇試,不過評語都只係一般。最後一款是蒸芋蓉,上面灑一點蔥花,裡面有些少蝦。總的來說,芋蓉是幾香,口感好幼細,可惜已經太飽。如果唔係,叫一碗白飯去送就一流。埋單每人幾十蚊,食到飽一飽,都收貨了。
