Soup:
The quality of the soup was generally high; the soup was rich and smooth, with the sweet pumpkin complimented by the little tingling of the ginger. The only downside is that serving ginger during this hot summer weather probably isn’t a very good idea. The soup itself was already hot, and together with the ginger, everyone was overly warm after the first course.

First main course:
This is actually my first time trying the gnocchi, which has lead to my great disappointment. The dish was rather tasteless, despite the addition of gorgonzola; the chopped walnuts did add a crunch to the dish, but some of the walnuts lacked the crunchiness; the dough was also so soft that they resembles children’s play-doughs. In addition, the portion of the pasta is too large. Even my dad can hardly finish the whole dish.

Second main course:
The sea bass was really good, well-seasoned with a crumbly side. The meat was not overly dry and had a great texture. The sautéed spinach was a bit salty and was soaked with oil.

Dessert:
Two tiny scoops of sorbet decorated with fresh blueberries. This icy treat is perfect after a filling meal as such. Lime juice and crushed basil leaves were added into the sorbet, making it a delightful, flavourful and refreshing treat that satisfies every taste bud. Be sure to finish it quickly as the sorbet melts really quickly.

The foam was exptremely dense and milky, and the coffee was rich and aromatic. It's been a long time since I had a cup of cappuccino this good. Way better than the ones from the green labelled coffee shop.

The view and environment here was absolutely great. Although some maintanance needs to be made to the worn out furnitures, the setting of the restaurant has its own elegance and charm, and is surely an ideal place for a romantic celebration.
Other Info. : enjoy a complimentary glass of wine using American Express during Hong Kong restaurant week.

轉眼間餐廳周的活動又來了,今次比往時試多了一間餐廳,總共訂了三間。第二擊就在富豪香港酒店享受意大利菜﹗說起來,富豪香港酒店我還是第一來,反而附近的鼎泰豐﹑咖啡弄我都去過了。入到酒店大堂便乘電梯到31樓,這一層只有Zeffirino Ristorante和住客會所,原來31樓以上還有酒店房間呢﹗因為時間尚早,加上第一次去這麼高貴的餐廳嘛,當然要周圍拍拍照,留個記念吧﹗地方不算好大但樓底好高,不過店方在間格/格局上都留著充足的空間,四周佈置及擺設都充滿歐陸古典美,亦不乏金光閃閃,而紫色主調不禁產生了浪漫感覺來。從我們坐的位置的窗口看出去,近的有維園,遠的有密密麻麻的建築物,景色不算吸引。但在夜幕下,眾窗戶的燈光反而構出一幅繁華而美麗的圖畫。發現到另一邊的景色原來可以看到日落呢,夕陽令場內地毯瞬間由紫色變了橙紅色。坐下後,服務員便遞上餐廳周的餐牌,餐牌用了淺綠色的卡紙承著,看得出有放過心思的。之後她問我們飲什麼水﹖我答普通的就可以了。見她行開後,我便繼續影枱上的物品(好靚呀~!)。餐廳周的晚餐正好每樣都有兩款選擇,所以可以試到全部食物了。點餐後,服務員便送來一籃麵包,哇~~~~超多麵包,正呀

這個餐的抵食之處是有兩款主菜,先來澱粉質。Home made tagliolini with light butter sauce and black summer truffle,陣陣松露的香氣已經忍不住飛撲出來,香到呢...沒有加入任何配料,只是用松露和牛油汁去煮麵,幼身的意大利麵的軟硬剛好,牛油汁及松露的確好香好香,而且用上的牛油汁不會令人覺得食到一口油膩,反而越吃越想吃,有這效果的確令我意外。

另一款是Napolitan Paccheri pasta with prawn, orange and citrus sauce。比闊條麵更闊更粗的意式通粉,它有一定的厚度,富有嚼勁,汁醬充滿蝦的鮮味,非常濃,非常香,相信是用蝦殼煮出來的了,配上大量蝦球,爽口又彈牙,太美味了﹗

Chianti,多數都是有保證的,而這支則帶著輕輕的果香,中至厚身的酒體,畢竟太young,以table wine來說也算不錯。

第一道菜,是這用cocktail杯上的salad,底層的是tomato,中間的是芝士,而頂層的則是herbs;其實這道菜的質感有點像大菜糕,把材料打成泥然後凝固;三種味道都頗濃郁的,但不算驚喜。

看到handmade我已經心花怒放,熟悉我的,都知道我很喜歡手工pasta,那質感是特別的煙韌美味。而這裡的handmade pasta,符合了我所喜歡的pasta特質,非常煙韌,超喜歡;而用了蠶豆和煙肉作調味,煙肉已令到pasta帶著軾軾的鹹香;唯一不好的便是底層有很多油,很肥膩。

Limoncello
從前不懂這種liquor,在意大利嚐過後,便愛上了。而這款,充滿檸檬香,甜度不算高,吃飽後喝這酸酸的Limoncello,感覺上可以減減膩,不錯。
這夜,想不到與兩位素未謀面的美女可以如此的好傾,無論酒、食物或美容都涉及到,愉快的一晚;而這裡的食物,算是不錯的,喜歡這裡的手工意粉和美味的是lamb chop,值得一試。聽說餐廳將會轉menu和進行裝修,還會找米芝蓮廚合作,到時實在要來一來喔。
是夜每人享用了一份 4-course promotion set menu,$588+10%;另外還點了一份lamb chop,價格上不算便宜呢。

第四道是porcini mushroom risotto with black truffle。由於急不及待要試試的關係,我忘記了先拍照,所以這照片是後拍的,比較難看><。微帶酸味的牛肝菌被切成大片,增強了口感。意大利飯煮得剛剛好,軟中帶硬,再吸收了黑松露的牛肝菌汁,真的很美味!
食到這裡我以經覺得7成飽了,但仍然很想試試接下來的主菜XD。

第八道是餐後甜品apple cake with orange sauce。蘋果粒清甜微爽,整體不過甜。
最後在點餐飲的同時侍應送上了茶點,蝴蝶酥受杏仁焦糖朱古力。兩者都微甜脆脆的,很適合伴茶!
每道菜色被送上時侍應都會很禮貌地介紹菜名,若你有疑問菜色的食材,他們都很詳細的為你解答,很專業!而且亦有琴師現場彈奏鋼琴伴樂。這裡的菜色配上服務,這個價錢實在是很合理,與其他酒店的相比甚至是便宜很多呢,所以能吸引我們一試再試!

She was worried about that having a buffet with main course and pasta might be a bit too much, and she also thinks dining at night would be better in terms of celebration. However, when we got up to the restaurant, she totally changed her mind. The restaurant was at the 31st floor in the hotel, and once we got up there, a waitress at once showed us our way.
The atmosphere would not be boring there. The first thing you see when you walk into the restaurant should be the big window. Through that you can enjoy the view of Causewaybay. Although there was no sea and mountains, the view was quite adorable. The restaurant has some live piano music playing, with beautiful crystal lights on the seiling and a bit of air conditioning, it gives you a very comfortable atmosphere.
We first ordered some appetizer, we asked if there is any the waitress would recommend to us, she then patiently introduced us to several kinds of appetizer, and we finally opened a bottle of it, which I do not know the name though. As we have chose to be having semi-buffet with a pasta and a main course, since I was really hungry, we could enjoy getting as much antipastis as we like to. We decided to order our main course and pasta first, and then would get our starters. I ordered a angel hair with shrimp in tomato sauce for my pasta, and a sirloin steak for my main course. My girlfriend has only ordered a lamb chop stick.
For starters, there were 4-5 kinds of salad, smoked salmon, some baked scallops. They were quite fresh, the scallops were quite good, good texture, good taste with loads of cheese on it.
The pasta was made as soon as you order it. Our angel hair came quite fast so we stopped taking starters and focusing on our pasta. The angel hair was nice, creamy but not too full, with some sour tomato sauce would give you more desire of eating. The schrimps were quite fresh too, and the size was acceptable. The overall size of the pasta was not too much, as it was to make you feel even more hungry, for the main course to be eaten quickly. The sirloin also came very fastly. The texture of the meat was smooth, hot and tasty. Together with the sweet and sour red-wine sauce, tasted funny, but quite delicious. The red-wine sauce was quite sweet, so that the taste of the red wine would not be too strong. The sauce was also peeped into the steak, so that the stick would not be too dry. My girlfriend's lamp chok was also quite nice. The mint sauce reduces the weird smell and taste that usually lamb has, the surface of the almb was pan fried until it is crunchy, and that's why the lamb was quite nice too.
I was so full that I could not eat anymore. My girlfriend however got plates of desserts back to the table and I had no choice but to try some. The cream brulee was nice. Crispy surface, nicely burned, with smooth cream inside. The other one that I think should be praised was their homemade Gelato, I personally am so keen on blueberries. So I got myself a blueberry flavour one and it was seriously fantastic. It was smooth, icy and a bhit sour, which therefore became the very last thing I was eating as I took plates of them. Anyway it was a really treasurable moment that me and my girlfriend definately had a good time, we appreciated the great food, great atmosphere and finally the great service.

I received the special offer email last week for a 3 course lobster dinner offer, so I booked immediately and mentioned we will be ordering the special set as shown on email.

We were offered with regular menu and seems nobody knows we are ordering the special set, after 5 mins look through the menu I ask one of your staff that we would like to order the 3 course lobster set but he immediately told us we need to print out the webpage to enjoy the offer, then I told him I was never told I need to have that printed out, then he asked me whether I'm a Regal Hotel member and with the card with me OR we are a member of Hong Kong Bar Association, I told him I don't have the membership card and I'm not a member of HKBA, but your hotel sent me that email, then he said if we don't have that we are not entitle to enjoy that offer, maybe our membership expired but still receiving such email, what kind of BS is that?! If we are not entitle to enjoy such offer why on earth I'm receiving such email?! That was completely embarrassing, all the other customer were looking at us.
You know what the best part was? He just walk away from our table without saying a word, what kind of service was that for a 5 stars hotel restaurant?!
We were so pissed but we still don't want to ruin the night so we ask the captain again that I received that email, can we order the set? He said yes they can do that but again he walk away without saying another word, what the hack was that and we seems being looking down because we were trying to order a special offer set, are they being trained like that? Whenever a customer order a special offer set they act like that?! We both think that because we are a regular customer of Zeffirino but this is the first time we order special set and we were treated as we beg for discount, we were so mad but we love the food so again, we call the captain to take order.
But our mood were completely ruin, even the food were excellent but we don't think we will visit again, with this kind of service while customer order special then why offer such discount set?
Even at the end we were being looked down when I asked for the bill to the other captain, we sit there for 20 mins but the bill never came!!!!!! Then we found he was talking to the other customer and FORGOT our bill!!!!

We will not go to this restaurant again.

第一次跟隨家人來這間高級餐廳進食, 因為他們經常來, 所以服務生 Jeri 很友善帶領我們到窗邊位每次吃 buffet 必從基本的蔬菜沙律開始, 蔬菜只有一款, 味道一般接著到海鮮冷盆 - 三文魚, 凍蟹, 瀨尿蝦等等, 均十分鮮甜, 由於時間關係我只吃了一隻凍蟹 & 瀨尿蝦, 但我把蟹肉蝦肉都吃得乾乾淨淨 左邊湯匙上的一口肉看上去有點像鮮蝦肉, 配上醬汁和一小片檸檬, 香香酸酸的很特別! 另外有新鮮牛肉, 實在令我喜出望外, 吃了很多呢, 哈哈~~吃完即叫即整的天使麵後, 主菜終於來到!! 本來很期待的, 家人兩客的很快到, 但我的等了很久...... 問一問侍應生, 他說 "好快, 嚟緊", 家人都已經吃完時, 我那份還沒有上...... 再問一問 Jeri, 她也很感到很奇怪, 到廚房幫我跟進, 她回來時說正在弄, 很快會到. 到龍蝦來的時候, 不是很熱, 但竟然有點燒焦, 還有燶味, 很失望......不打緊, 最後甜品時間衝刺, 選擇不多但有水準!最要讚賞的是 homemade ice-cream, 四款味道應該分別是士多啤梨, 熱情果, 藍莓, 果仁, 真的是非常好味道!

同老細及同事約了business partner 來個business lunch. 預定了semi buffet lunch.

一踏進位於31樓的餐廳,甫坐下便感覺我們選對了地方。L形落地玻璃令整間餐廳光線充足,可看到海景。此外,餐廳布置以柔色為主,座椅舒適,而每檯間隔充足,為進餐及傾談增進輕鬆氣氛。重要的是用餐的人不太多,五至六枱,沒有太多遊客,在這銅鑼灣鬧巿十分難得。

侍應服務十分細心專業,有笑容 。為我們添水,換碟等不用我們費心。四set刀叉等for antipasti, pasta, main, dessert 也是貼心。

Buffet station 有antipasti 和dessert,antipati 主要為帶意式風味冷盤, 有一隻意大利風乾豬肶set up 好任你自己動手片出來,salami 是一整條的,有server為我們片,味道好也很authentic。當然也有沙律等及其他前菜,個人比較喜歡牛肉薄切及他們的多種醃橄欖。不喜歡冷盤的可點熱湯取代antipasti buffet

中途上了bread basket,自家制兩種sauce好味(像salsa 和 crushed olive paste)但包有點硬。

主菜從set menu 的pasta 和main 各選一款,選擇也不少呢,有 5 款pasta 及 5 款main。我選的gorgonzola cheese farfelle with walnuts 及主菜豬柳都比我預期的好吃,尤其是我十分喜歡cheese ( 你不喜歡blue cheese 的話就不要點這個好了,只是本人十分愛重口味的cheese)。 豬柳切下去可能覺得實,但實情是吃下去好juicy唔乾而且有質感。我的同事則點了八爪魚(red sauce)。
到這時我們開始飽了,留肚吃點dessert。我比較喜歡他們的cheese platter,比別家自助餐的味道較特別濃郁。甜品賣相可以,但不是他們的強項。Panna cotta太甜, 而另一款類似custard的則太稀,好runny。

整體來說, HKD 298 吃到此美味,服務及環境真係超值,自己一定會再來。仲要我地埋單時侍應自動波比折(可能公司有account 掛)每人都係259 左右。好抵。

十個讚! 個汁十分CREAMY, 同個肉好夾, 而肉又唔係好騷..十分好!

服務方面, 十分專業, 可能人唔多, 所以收碟, 加水亦快, 個日上到去得5檯客, 一D都唔嘈/迫

其實間野都唔差,唔明點解好似冇咩人去食?

是晚特意在這裏用膳,部份原因是手執一張信用咭附送的半價餐券,在酒店的西餐廳享用一客六道菜的晚餐,每人還不用五百元,實是吸引。

吃畢主菜後,當然是甜品時間,精選的甜品款式是自製椰子慕思蛋糕配榛子汁廚師用心的設計裝飾,單看賣相已很吸引
。慕思蛋糕口感柔軟,散發點點椰絲清香。繼續往下發掘,是味道較濃的朱古力蛋糕餅底。若覺得慕思蛋糕味道柔弱了一點,亦可沾上美味的榛子汁來吃,當中夾雜了開心果碎粒,味道更加給引

(3)上到餐廳,立即帶到音樂台對面的位置 , 餐廳好細 , 歌声好大 , 好似在洒吧食飯, 帶位無問””怕声浪嗎?””……………..差

(4)十秒鐘不夠,一个爸爸型的肥服務員立刻以最快的急口令講出今晚父親節套餐,不停說有一杯紅酒送,本人問他是否只有套餐,他說 ”是” ,再問他有否餐牌,他說沒有但可以check下,見他走去bar枱拿那餐洒牌過來,放下不夠十秒,不停想我立即落單,不停來來回回企在我旁邊……音樂又開始,完全聽不到他說什麽……差

(7)鱸魚才是奇景,好似bbq燒蕃薯甘,用石紙包住,全包的size有大半个碟,配菜被壓在下面,那塊魚無味,好似雪藏很久,完全唔似鱸魚,衰過大家樂,塊魚size很小,好似罐頭沙丁魚的size,有二隻虾和蘑菇,味道一般……………….差

(8)旁邊的枱坐左班国內的大款,聲浪超高,大聲叫歌手唱鄧麗君的歌曲(意大利文???),以為無,怎知菲国歌手懂,變左全枱合唱……………..差,你估係尖東D酒廊餐廳,又話係五星級酒店意大利風情?

(9)大約十点,坐多一陣食甜品,怎知他們又趕收工和還完部份的枱和椅,好似地震和搬屋甘,大声討論明天D枱應該怎setup…………….差

(10)最後速付款,快走人………重有……到樓下一打開電挮門想出,立即有數个大皮急推入來,有个大陸團十多人剛到,震耳欲聾,要打開木人行才可走,有个大堂部長部在电梯旁笑一笑…………….差

怪不知富豪洒店做極都甘差,千其唔好幫櫬 !!!
