泰國菜在香港非常受歡迎,所以巿面上有不少泰國菜,但論到北面泰國菜,又真係相對無咁多,難得太子開了間以泰北風味菜式,當然要來試試。******************************Simply Thai Modern Cuisine 位於太子人流不多的地舖,前來時間尚早,坐下不久,差不多滿座。餐廳以Set Dinner 為主,主推8款主食,全部 HKD88,包指定飲品1杯,其他飲可以加錢享用。此外,還可優惠價追加小食,確實實惠。除了set dinner,也有散點菜式、沙律、燒物、咖喱、甜品和飲品。無論食餐還是散點,都免加一收費,難怪吸引到不少年青人入座。泰北咖喱麵 HKD88,以炸麵配上雞脾,雞脾都不算細隻,啖啖肉,炸麵一半已浸了咖喱湯,所以吃聽又有脆口炸麵又有正常口感麵底。最重要咖喱湯底,甜甜又帶少許辣,湯中帶少許酸菜增加風味,絕對合適香港人不吃辣的口味。泰北相對較乾燥,所以吃的菜式都不會像其他地區的辣,而且風味偏甜,所以湯底都甜甜地。追加小食,串燒 HK38/2串,可選豬或雞,所以就豬和雞各1串。串燒燒得夠香,加了甜甜蜜糖,和甜甜花生醬汁,夠美味。追加小食,炸蝦餅 HKD28/2件,雖然魚餅都是2件同價,但不能要求雙拼。蝦餅很脆,蝦味味香,點酸甜醬一拼吃就好滿足。跟餐青檸茶,以泰國茶底加上青檸,冰量不多又不會很甜,入口酸味十足,很開胃又解油膩。凍奶茶 HKD28,奶茶底都香泰國茶味,甜甜的好好味,解辣一流。泰式奶茶布甸 HKD38,加了淡奶和小丸子,賣相好吸引。相對無奶茶茶底香,又不會很甜。沒想到小丸子甜甜又煙韌,伴著布甸一起吃,就像喝奶茶一樣,好滿足。 continue reading

今晚和朋友吃我最喜歡的泰國菜。餐廳在基隆街,距離太子站D出口不過三分鐘路程,主理西式泰菜。餐廳裝修充滿泰國風情,牆上的電視播放著泰國MV,連服務員都是泰國人。我們點了幾個泰國特色晚餐及小菜。晚市套餐:「泰式燒豬頸肉飯」,豬頸肉爽口又入味,配上特色醬汁,更加惹味。「青咖喱雞飯」,青咖喱口感清新,酸甜微辣,與雞肉最合拍。泰式小菜:「泰式烤牛肉」,份量不少,牛肉烤得五成熟,色澤粉紅,肉質幼嫩,再加上泰式調味,更突顯牛肉的鮮味,是必選的菜式。「泰北辣肉碎生菜包」,碎肉炒得香口,不油膩,用生菜包住食,在口中散發出泰式香料味道,不過我覺得稍為濃味了一點。泰式小食:「酥炸蝦餅」,經典泰菜,香脆爽口。「香茅雞翼」,味道尚可,份量較少,雞翼也略為細小。跟餐飲品:「泰式奶茶」,香濃綿滑,滲出陣陣清香。「香茅班蘭茶」,香茅味道濃郁,也不錯。這裏的泰菜比較濃味,富特色,而且性價比高。 continue reading

見到食評咁多舔舔脷,就即刻試一試,諗住唔使去到九龍城咁遠。一坐低嗌咗一個泰式鳳爪沙律,冬陰功,諗住試咗再嗌其他嘢,好彩冇做錯決定。鳳爪沙律,$78,價錢好似好抵,鳳爪份量好多,紅蘿蔔絲一紮,幾條芹絲,但係冇乜味嘅,啲鳳爪似係直接倒出來,撈埋啲絲,淋啲汁就出,個底有汁浸住就有味,似中式多過泰式,去酒樓求其嗌碟都好過佢。冬陰功$108,唯一讚嘅就係都有幾隻蝦唔痴殼新鮮,但隻蝦啲殼冇處理過冇𠝹過,唔方便食,湯就淨普通酸辣味,冇冬陰功嘅香味,又隱約有啲油味。講真,唔係價錢問題,真係唔好食,可能我唔好彩食中唔好食個日仲要揀埋啲撞手踭嘅凳,基本上你食一餐飯,隨隨便便都撞到Funny bone continue reading

呢間泰國菜喺基隆街,太子站行過嚟兩三分鐘就到,裝修好簡單,典型嘅一間小店,侍應係泰國人,但識聽簡單中文。叫咗一個泰式燒魷魚,一上枱已經好靚,好軟滑,點埋個特製醬汁非常好味。晚市都有套餐,叫咗個泰式金邊粉share食,再叫多個白咖哩雞飯,泰式豬頸肉飯,大家一致認為個豬頸肉非常好食,份量夠多,再叫多個蒜蓉包點咖哩,食到唔停口。套餐係包一杯飲品,加20蚊有椰青,再加錢有小食例如串燒,值得一提係呢間小店服務非常好,仲唔收加一,晚市七點後都幾旺場,可以用openrice訂位。 continue reading
