親友當中有不少榴槤愛好者,時常會交換榴槤飲食情報。The Market的自助餐以榴槤甜品作為賣點,早就成為親友們的必食之選。即使沒有榴槤的號召,Hotel Icon的出品仍是讓人期待的。貴為城中最熱的自助餐,一位難求實屬意料中事。透過酒店網上系統預訂,比想像中快捷方便。平日的下午自助餐收費為$338,與城中其他大熱酒店自助餐看齊,屬合理的價位。即使是平日,The Market也是座無虛席,受歡迎程度可見一斑。餐廳分為三個用餐區域,前方跟自助餐桌靠得最近,中間有園林景致和充沛日光,後方離自助餐桌最遠也較昏暗。最初我們被安排至後方位置,除了不方便取食外,這邊感覺亦較為悶熱,對長者來說不太合適。反映過後,侍應立即安排另一位置,服務細心周到。順帶一提Hotel Icon是理工大學的教學酒店,當中有年輕的實習生,服務態度親切有禮,表現不輸其他五星酒店。海鮮,是眾人的目標首選。必食的有長脚蟹,鮮甜彈牙、海水味足,少有能嚐到如此高質素。東風螺個頭不小,爽脆味鮮。龍蝦鉗啖啖肉,爽彈肉甜。青口肥美,大蝦鮮甜,整體來說是水準之上,令人滿意。刺身區供應醋鯖魚、甜蝦、八爪魚、三文魚、呑拿魚,新鮮之餘選擇也不少
