First I got three amuse bouches, and three square boxes full of traditional Japanese delicacies, along with steamed egg containing shrimp and mushroom, as well as miso soup.
The boxes contained sashimi of yellow tail, salmon, and octopus, braised chicken, fried chicken, eel cake, broiled fish with vinegar sauce, clam, roast duck, rice cakes, dashi maki egg, onions, braised pumpkin, vegetable mousse, fish(?) mousse, and vegetable rice with braised burdock.
Flavors of each dish in the bento boxes were delicate and sophisticated. I could tell chef has put a lot of efforts to prepare them.
I literally devoured and cleaned them all (lol) and finally got served green tea milk pudding for desserts as well as coffee. All of these cost only HK$298, and to make things even better, they are currently offering a special grand opening 10% discount until the end of May, so HK$298 was the final price after service charge. Serving staff was swift, knowledgeable and professional. I would like to go back to try their dinner menu soon. It's not just another 'boring' Japanese restaurant opening every other day in Hong Kong these days. This place is a great new place for authentic Japanese food lovers. I strongly recommend it!
