This is the kind of restaurant you go to if you can’t think of anywhere else to go. The food is okay, the service is okay - the ambience is a bit lacking (some very busy decorations near the sushi counter!) and the air conditioning makes it feel very cold inside (but this is remedied with card board boxes covering the air con vent?!) The serving portions are generous.

日月星街上一家不起眼的日料小店,每天营业时间挺短,周日还休息,中午的定食还不错,但是作为居酒屋的选择不如附近的酒部屋斗。一进店的时候小小的环境,吧台位还是不错的,足够宽敞,还能看到厨师做刺身,寿司。点了一份角切鱼生饭定食,加上服务费差不多175港币,从味增汤,小菜,蒸蛋到主食都一般般,特别是主食的分量超级少,基本没有多少东西,对付一下午餐的话还可以吧。想吃饱基本没戏,最后的甜品冰淇淋挺好吃的。服务态度还行吧,没什么深刻印象。

我個人較愛吃白身魚、蝦、蟹及貝類刺身。因此師傅先為我揀選了眼仁奈及池魚刺身作頭碟。每款切薄塊各四片,配以酸汁蘿蔔蓉及蔥粒一起吃,魚肉爽口,味道鮮。

接著都是白身魚,冇記錯應該係池魚。魚肉切碎配了芝麻,洋蔥粒及蔥花。師傅叫我不用點豉油,用紫菜片捲著魚肉一起吃便可嘗到鮮味。的而且確魚肉配紫菜很夾,可是紫菜不太脆,只有兩片份量較少。

壽司方面,我們吃了帶子、牡丹蝦、甜蛋、一款時令貝類、北海道海膽手卷及加州卷。 帶子的鮮味一般,不算肥美;牡丹蝦較好,尤其是把蝦膏放在蝦肉上連同飯糰一起吃很美味。甜蛋壽司的紫菜包法也較另類,跟坊間不同。
海膽手卷的紫菜唔夠脆,勝在海膽分量足。
加州卷沒有什麼特別;至於那貝類剌身被女侍應說得矜貴極了! 一年只有兩個月產期來自北海道。當我追問是北海道那地點時,他們卻說青森! 雖然我沒有即時指出青森不是在北海道,但他們是誤導還是當客人愚昧呢??

當品嘗過刺身壽司後,我們還點了四款小吃。

※ 燒味淋魚乾 ~ 塗上味淋的魚乾燒烤後帶點 微燶少許脆。咬上去魚乾的質感卻較濕,因多醬汁關係。整體還是好吃,但份量少定價高!

※ 木魚絲炸豆腐 ~ 一客兩件用木魚絲包著豆腐一起炸,配上蘿蔔蓉、蔥花及醬汁,來到時豆腐外皮還是脆卜卜,內裡熱辣辣。

※ 芝麻雞翼 ~ 調味剛好的中翼部分灑上芝麻炸後皮香脆,可是翼尖皮有點淋又帶點油。

※ 大蝦天婦羅 ~ 一碟只有兩隻炸蝦天婦羅確實太小了吧?! 炸漿不算薄,蝦也不夠大隻!

當晚用餐時段客人不多,觀察到有街坊熟客,也有來自附近寫字樓,酒店遊客或像我們亂打亂撞的生客。以食材、食物款式、味道及服務質素而言,我個人認為價錢定位頗高。

再講,青森位置就在日本福島上方,食得魚生刺身便不太害怕輻射?那就錯了,人往往就是這樣,又想食又要忌。 在這情況下,為何師傅不能清晰地向坐在客人介紹餐廳菜式及正確的食材資訊呢?

天氣很冷的-天,女同事要快快吃完午飯,帶我和另一男同事來。Menu 的選擇約數款定食,數款魚生飯吧,我叫了生薑牛肉定食,他們分別選了生薑鷄肉定食和鰻魚定食。前菜白蘿蔔和麵豉湯都可以。主菜牛肉多,配了沙拉,味道和肉質可以。飯有一小碗,女生一定夠吃。男同事說味道ok,我也覺得是。之後來的茶碗蒸就意外地好吃,蛋滑清甜,可惜已吃了主菜,沒有太多空間多吃。最後還有咖啡或雪糕呢!我吃cookie 雪糕,味道也不錯。其實,$128 再加一吃這個普通的定食,我覺得貴;雖然有前菜,湯,茶碗蒸,甜品,始終心裡仍覺得不太值。周圍有好多選擇,下次都係去其他地方。

Live close to the restaurant so decided to give it a try. We were ignored at least five times before we could order something to eat. The place was really crowd and loud, not a typical Japanese one you can expect. The waitress was literally shouting all the time - made me feel like I was in a market rather than dining.Food was average. I’ll never recommend anyone here based on this horrifying experience - bad enough that I decided to comment here.

It is common to see very polite waiters in nice Japanese restaurant but the waitress/reception here will disappoint you. I ordered beef shogayaki set and my friend ordered sashimi w/ rice set.The miso soup is lukewarm The set came but it is same cold as u think it is grilled beef... the rice is good quality but it is not hot neither😓 My friend said the sashimi is okay.Too many choices in Wanchai area and I won’t come again.

Couldn't explain the difference between two sakes - saying they "all taste the same when you heat it up" ???Didn't have a dish available but forgot to inform us... so we waited 15 minutes. Didn't bother to top up tea, not once.Sushi was great. The chefs seemed nice but we didn't get to chat. Food was good. But with so many options everywhere I'd try a bit harder. Blessed with a great location.

Positive:

Negative:

Waitresses are rude and retarded as this was what happened:
We went in and was given a table. A few minutes later another group of customers who are familiar with the waitresses walked in. They wanted to sit on our table and the waitress said to us: 'oh.. you have to sit upstairs' without any apologies.
During the meal, we ordered Salmon (the belly part) sushi and when the food came it was just normal Salmon sushi. It may seem like a small difference but the first thing the waitress said was 'we are sorry we dont have the belly part we only have normal ones'. We said 'Then could you cancel it please?' She replied 'But its already been made.' Although both are Salmon but I guess a sensible person would inform a customer that they only have normal Salmon before putting the order through.

Sushi and Sashimi came very quick but cooked food is EXTREMELY slow.

Conclusion:

Will never go again due to their impoliteness and the lack of ability to take orders accurately.

收工到日月星街一帶食 lunch, 想去的 Spoil (以前幾時嚟過: http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=1912874) 及 Classified 都無位, 結果嚟了中學同學 C 曾經推介過的呢間日本餐廳. 入到嚟就被黑口黑面的 waitress「指」了坐 bar 檯, 跟住丟低兩本 menu 及兩杯熱水/茶, 但杯外又仍然濕的 (洗完未掠 / 抹乾?), 加上刺身檯內竟然有大量長方形的「麵粉」蟹柳
, 最後 2 人都叫了兩款應該較穩陣的熟食:-

前菜: 竟然係芽菜 + 韭黃, 諗起大記碗攦粉面頭嗰堆「小炒」(http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2079071)
不過食落清清淡淡 sok sok 聲,「漱口」都 ok 的...

滑唔滑, 你話喇?

定食的主角係照燒牛扒 ($150): 薄身, 切成一條條, 賣相其實 ok, 不過食落唔夠熱, 肉味一般, 好韌又幾乾, 燒 (但又似「煎」多 d?) 得太熟了吧? 配上白飯, 其實唔難食, 不過感覺係做得幾求其的一份燒牛扒, $150 絕對可用 "rip-off" 嚟形容.


朋友的係牛肉生薑燒 ($108): 薄牛肉軟腍又算幾香, 食落帶甜亦有「薑汁」的味道, 加埋同樣入味索汁又甜甜的洋蔥, 送飯係不錯, 不過食食吓發覺都幾「水 deh deh」
唔難食的一份牛肉生薑燒, 不過都係嗰句, 收 $108 一份定食, 可以更更更更更好吧.


味噌湯有昆布及油揚豆腐, 飲落味道就正正常常, 唔會太鹹, 好在


Menu 上話 lunch 定食可跟雪糕或咖啡, waitress 卻只問我哋要「紅豆」定「菠蘿」雪糕, 當然問問「有無咖啡」, 但得到嘅答案係好堀的「無喎」兩個字, 及 waitress 的一副極不耐煩的嘴臉, 唯有乖乖「遵命」只食紅豆雪糕, 但雪糕及紅豆都好硬, 食落同「香甜」二字全無關係, 都唔知自己食緊 d 乜.
朋友的菠蘿雪糕則較軟滑, 亦食到粒粒菠蘿, 叫好過無吧.

食物無誠意, 不過招呼更「堅」, 無禮貌成咁的 waitress 及唔識磨尖把刀的師傅 (仲要喺我哋面前當場上演「補習」...) 都係第一次喺日本餐廳遇到, 認真大開眼界.


埋單 $165, 唔滿意, 唔抵, 唔會再來, 後會無期!

I used to eat at wherever 磊師傅 worked, we knew each other for so long and he knows what I love to eat all the time. I never look at the menu because he knows what I love and what I dun..I enjoyed all the food he made. I don't live in HK anymore and it is so hard to live far from family and friends. I read some of the reviews here, and I was like .....why the hell you will order 蟹柳壽司 there?? you can eat those in the sushi restaurant where you pay $20 for 3 pieces of salmon sush or Park'n'shop ...but not in Rokkaku. They make gourmet Japanese food and dishes, so dun order anything like salmon, crabmeat & cucumber sushi....you are wasting everyone's time.

Chyu-toro is out of this world....cannot forget it!

-我無揀到餐飲,要咗雪榚,揀咗菠蘿味,另有杏仁咖啡味
-因為淺色好難近距離focus,又見個碗底,好似有溶溶哋嘅跡象,所以就攞匙羮"畢"起佢,點個雪糕球"痴"得好實,要剷先起
-我都幾肯定個雪糕球喺1早就"畢"出,之後先雪
-如果其他人嘅雪糕球都喺同我1樣,咁佢就1定喺"畢"完1批後,全盤咁雪,所以較先"畢"嗰d都會有點溶開,之後先再雪實番,完全罔顧食物安全
-諗到咁,我真喺覺得佢欠誠意,好多日本料理嘅雪糕球都喺上客前先"畢"出嚟,我好似第1次試到mass production式,預先做定
-如果喺茶餐廳/快餐店要應付急速嘅客量,這個倒還體諒,但這裡並不是收茶餐廳/快餐店嘅價$$$$
-這個細微嘅1環都要咁慳人手,真的令人感到失望同意外
-1間好/有水準餐廳,除咗味道要好之外,細微嘅地方都要做得足...........客人先體會到老闆嘅誠意..........咁先可以喺行家之中殺出重圍
-1個飯,1球雪糕嘅處理已盡顯餐廳對自己嘅要求低...........要求低唔緊要,因每間食肆定位都唔同...........但最緊要喺要連價$$$$也拉低align番先得

* 食後,我同友人對餐廳都沒有好感...........我哋對佢本有期望,因佢嘅位置又僻,價$$$$唔算平.........又見佢生存咗起碼>1年,出品1定見得吓人..........點知佢嘅營運模式喺攞大規模嘅流水作業式...........有點掛羊頭賣狗肉之嫌,.........但又夠膽收人誠意價..........好嘢,好嘢~~~~

* 其實論其味道同新鮮程度,可以的........但1諗到價錢有heart,骨子裡1點heart也沒有,所以給了喊面

難得有機會再來星街一帶覓食。心想之前做定功課的話,就以為不會走太多的冤枉路,怎知人算不如天算,選了這兒吃個日式魚生飯set,結果卻是令人失望到極點....連加一一百五十多大洋的魚生飯定食,換來的是一堆堆既是厚切而又色澤暗啞的貨色,怎能不令人吃至眉頭大皺 ?....吃過些枝豆作餐前小吃後,接下來便是茶碗蒸登場。配料仍是最基本的冬菇片、銀杏粒、日本魚蛋片及吞拿魚粒。有着這配料同蒸,蛋自然夠甜,而且蛋本身亦蒸得不老,夠滑。吃着令人失望透頂的魚生飯,用這個茶碗蒸作補償的話,雖然是有些牽強,但總算不是一無是處的.....說回那碗魚生飯,米用的不是日本的而且又沒經調味的也還算,但魚生的啞色程度,一看便知新鮮極有限了雖說下午lunch set吃到的多是次貨,但收得小弟一百五十多塊的一頓飯,要保持應有的質素,不是太高的要求吧 ? 蝦頭的發黑程度、立魚的多筋以致咬也咬不動.....實在是吃至頭也讓人搖掉了唯一可取的是吞拿魚粒用了醬漬處理,較有特色。但比起那一堆不新鮮的港式厚切魚生片來說,實難以力挽狂瀾於既倒已......拿着這百多大洋,小弟可以到附近外賣兩件意式pizza,又或是到olala吃碗牛肉或三

6月24日(星期三)晚,是日女友在工作上遇到極大挫折,身為男友安慰她固然是指定任務。待女友放工後,她說想找個靜些的地方坐下來,突然想起聖佛蘭士街附近有間僻靜的日本料理,於是就和女友前往那兒。入到店內,發覺幾乎滿座,女侍應招呼我們坐在bar檯,然後奉上熱毛巾、熱茶和餐牌。女友心情不好,所以沒心情去想吃甚麼,雖然女侍應極力推薦較貴的時令魚壽司特盛,但女友不想,所以點了一客普通的壽司拼盤、自家製雞肉丸和麵豉燒豆腐。壽司拼盤($220):有三文魚、拖羅、池魚、鯖魚、甜蝦、蟹籽等各一件和蔥吞拿魚腩卷六件,各款魚生雖不算肥美,但很新鮮美味;師傅的握功很好,就算把壽司倒轉,魚生也不會即時跌下來,但飯團口感比較結實;自家製雞肉丸(45):共四粒,雞肉丸燒得外香脆而內裡嫩滑,有肉汁,女侍應建議把雞肉丸沾上蛋黃來吃,但吃時覺得沒甚麼分別;麵豉燒豆腐($40):同樣祇很得四片,清淡的豆腐配上濃味的麵豉醬,配搭剛好,豆腐外脆內滑,不過嫌豆腐沒有豆香!吃過這些食物後,難得我和女友都未覺得飽,所以再點了一客野菜稻庭烏冬和鹽燒牛舌。野菜稻庭烏冬(68):木魚湯底清澈鮮甜,烏冬幼滑可口;鹽燒牛舌(48):肉質爽口嫩滑

野菜稻庭烏冬(68):木魚湯底清澈鮮甜,烏冬幼滑可口;
鹽燒牛舌(48):肉質爽口嫩滑,牛味濃厚,佐酒一流!

是晚我還叫了兩壺熱清酒,是朝香純米吟釀($75),易入口和略帶甜。這裡的裝飾具日本特色,雖然地方不多,但兩位女侍應總好像應接不暇,有些時候想找她們也不易,但會經常添茶,而且服務態度良好,食物質素也算不錯,可以一試!

Fish chips has no fish favour, it is just like a normal crackerDeep Fried Prok Chop very dried & not very crispyTheir Sushi was very disappointed Chicken wing is overcooked, the meat is very soft.Sashimi was expensive & just so..so..The sashimi sweet corn was higly recommended, but don't know what I am eating
