之前係銅鑼灣番工,果度d野食周圍都幾貴,行行下見到呢間,入去試下,叫左個餐~~~套餐炒蛋、火腿、多士、叉燒湯意粉,仲有杯野飲炒蛋:有奶味,又好滑,滑得黎唔係好水咁,好味道多士:有脆既感覺,不過可能厚番少少個口感會更多叉燒湯意粉:叉燒好味道,個湯底味道都唔錯仲有杯奶茶:唔會好重奶味,茶香同奶香都出到黎,唔錯~~~~~~~~~對比粉嶺d荼餐廳價錢高左dd,但係係港島可以接受啦~~~~~~~~

Last month I patronize this shop at non-peak hour. As many people in this forum has pointed out, the service in the shop is far from satisfactory.There were 6 waitor/waitresses including the one in the bar and the cashier. Not a small number for just 3 tables of guests. But they just group altogether chatting loudly around the bar. Even when the customer step in, they were too lazy to greet or show them to a table. And when I wave to them to order, they show reluctance, even offence to some

There were 6 waitor/waitresses including the one in the bar and the cashier. Not a small number for just 3 tables of guests. But they just group altogether chatting loudly around the bar. Even when the customer step in, they were too lazy to greet or show them to a table. And when I wave to them to order, they show reluctance, even offence to some extent, to come over. Ooo I am intruding into their party!!

The food was served very quickly but the quality is not as good as some "CHA Charn Ting". A lot of room for improvement. You cannot say that it is cheap so why are you expecting a lot. It is a matter of attitude and everybody should do their best: 用心做到最好.

I was puzzled why the boss of the restaurant ignore all previous remarks in this forum? Service is the prime most important thing for any Japanese restaurants. If he want to do his business successfully, he should train up his staff appropriately. There are some serious management problems in this cafe and I hope that the boss should do sth to improve it asap. Else he is wasting a beautiful name, a beautiful idea and a good and convenient venue.

魚子醬多士: 雖然魚子醬既quality應該唔算好好,但加埋脆脆既多士同牛油又好match. 中和咗魚子醬既鹹味.反而北海道牛奶咖啡就無乜特別,可能係凍飲既關係,唔係好飲到牛奶味.下次要試吓熱飲先~服務唔特別殷勤但都唔算差.因為睇完上面既comment(話好差),所以完餐後當waitress收哂d嘢只剩抺完嘴既紙巾同抺過手既消毒棉既時候,心想都係自己帶走掉啦.點知waitress走埋黎話: 即刻加分.haha~

沈日八點幾同人去叫左個叉燒飯同埋三吋蛋三文治烘底。個蛋治烘底無咩事不過我個人覺得唔烘味道更佳,反而個叉飯啲飯煮得太諗又癡埋一舊舊咁,退步左好多。加上啲侍應係度大大聲講野講笑,令到我更加想快啲走。叉燒飯,都係去灣仔再興食算把喇。

服務同裝修都好, 地方不算太大. 所賣的食物同澳洲牛奶有啲相似, 好似有意走嗰種路線.叫左二個餐, 义疍飯加凍咖啡, 义燒湯通配火腿炒蛋加凍鮮奶. 义疍飯啲飯OK, 用珍珠米, 豉油汁也好味; 湯通同炒疍無咩特別, 同一般茶餐都一樣, 多士不及澳洲牛奶咁外脆內軟.個待應推介鮮奶布甸, 要成廿幾蚊, 一個布甸同一個餐同價咁滯, 太貴所以無要, 我見枱枱都無要. 其實佢地應該散叫就原價, 叫套餐就只要加十蚊就可以有, 或者咁樣會有多啲人叫.飲品都無咩特別, 北海道奶... 同本地超市奶, 飲落都所差無幾.同其他銅鑼灣的茶餐廳相比, 呢間都萛吾太貴, 而且乾淨企理; 但味道就真的沒有太大驚喜, 同澳洲牛奶有距離.

係落大雨既時候要搵呢間店都幾沮喪....門面唔錯~地方唔太大,但有好多STAFF,叫左一個北海道套餐同一份3吋厚蛋治~味道唔錯,都唔係其他食評講得GUM差,個蛋治好吸引,夾住既蛋真係好厚,個北海道套餐既WAFFLE都幾好,特別鍾意個SET既奶茶,好有茶味,STAFF做野好快手,但好似快左小小....2次未食完就想收我隻碟.....但STAFF都很FRIENDLY!

係openrice睇到唔少食評有關呢間餐廳, 又係雜誌睇到有關報導, 成日都心思思想去試吓, 次次都冇時間, 終於上星期日可以去試吓.同屋企人一共5個人去, 大約下午1點幾去到, 見到都滿座, 需要等位, 好彩唔夠5分鐘就有位, 入座後,大家決定都係食套餐, 有多士,火腿煎蛋或炒蛋,叉燒通粉或意粉,再加飲品. 飲品方面我選擇左鮮奶, 因為佢地註明係北海道出產,咪試吓囉...點知...真係幾掂喎...好似一入口就溶咁...但我老公仔叫左杯凍咖啡就一般, 奶味勁重...食物方面都好味, d叉燒幾好味...個醬汁叉燒飯d汁好好味, 飯係用日本珍珠米, 不過通粉d湯底就重左少少味精...總括來說...都值70分...

as mentioned in my last post my mum loved the tenderness of the cha siu...as a result we went there again in a week to try its cha siu with rice for lunch. i ordered a 3 inch egg sandwich as well.for the cha siu...it was fine, basically tasted the same yet was a bit harder than wt we had eaten a week ago. perhaps its because of the way how itd be cut. it wud be nice if they serve thinner stripes of cha siu they use for spaghetti w/ soup for the rice as well. and oh, the sunny-side up was excelle

yum yum.

as for the rice and the sauce, they were both very japanese. as i took the first spoonful of rice i cudnt help crying out 'oi, this tastes very japanese'!

all in all, this is something u can never get from normal local cha chen tangs.
so in this sense it is worth trying, despite the fact that i costs 38 bucks for a set.

and the egg sandwich...the egg was good. really good. unlike the scrambled eggs which might be a bit raw for some people, this egg is tender yet well-cooked. ive heard that its folded-i wonder how u can do it-and so you can see the alternate layers of egg white and yolk on the thick chunk of egg(why yes, i guess 'chunk' is the best word to describe the egg-its even thicker than a beef patty!).
very good. the butter is of high quality as well. HOWEVER.......

this sandwich would have been perfect if the bread had been toasted. not sure if its the tenderness of the eggs that had affected my taste-bud, or had it really been the problem with the bread itself, the bread is extremely harsh in texture and dry
aw, that was disappointing.

if they had used more 'soft' bread like milk bread, or whole-grain bread to deliberately enrich its texture, or toast every piece of bread to be used for the sandwich, this problem would have been avoided. not sure if its totally personal tho, but for those who had tried this egg sandwich out, id love to hear what you think about this bread.
