「口利福」設有八款雞尾酒和三款 Mocktail,我選了雞尾酒中的 Mule。 Mule 以美國威士忌 Jim Beam Black、荔枝、薑和 Fever Tree 薑啤調配,味道較清,但找不著主題,效果未有驚喜!

先來 Fried Chicken Mid Wings 作小食。雞中翼炸得皮薄香脆,肉質不乾帶嫩,而精髓則在於酸、辣、甜、香的 Shrimp Sambal 醬上。香脆的雞中翼一經蘸上,便立即變得惹味無窮。Shrimp Sambal 確實調得非常出色,那突出的層次與味道,一想起便令人口水急增!

Jowett Yu 小時候愛在媽媽旁觀看做餃子的步驟,於是便成了這道媽媽的餃子。餃子體型較大,皮偏向厚身,但沒負累的感覺,餡料採用了椰菜和豬肉,而底部則自調的沙茶豉油作醬汁,再加入芫荽和蒜蓉提昇味道。整體餃子的層次感不俗,味道並非不佳,只是未能嚐到特色之處而已!

嚐過豉油雞,再來一客當晚特選的炸雞炸雞皮層的脂肪給炸掉,只留下薄脆的雞皮,肉質也保持細嫩,可見火喉與炸功不錯。賣點仍放在如淮鹽的調料上,可惜並未能試出其特色來!

Roast Wagyu Short Ribs 是當晚最愛的主菜。

和牛肋骨牛味不遜,做到外脆內軟,可以的話,將熟度稍為下調至 Medium Rare,相信更能發揮牛肋骨本身細緻的肉質。而那個富有藝術風格,如大筆一揮的青綠墨西哥胡椒果泥,酸香辛的濃郁味兒,正好與牛肋骨匹配,令肉味更香,膩意全消,確是驚喜之作!

當晚特選的還有這道燒魚鮫。魚鮫燒得有點焦黑,入口未夠甘香,但豐盛的魚油足以彌補,可是隱約的魚腥味又令人卻步。而配搭的醬汁是富有日本風味的燒魚醬油,感覺還可以,可是未見突出!

主色嘗試了台灣的滷肉飯。呈烏紫色澤的米飯原來採用了五穀米,帶出健康的創意。不過五穀米口感軟乎乎的,不是我喜歡的質感。反而黑漆的滷肉和醬汁,味道濃郁,感覺不錯,而面層放上醃製的白蘿蔔,除較特別外,亦可減輕滷肉飯的膩意!

選用了 Calpis 酸奶製成的雪葩,加入 Granny Smitch 的蘋果沙冰,日式糯米滋及 Koji Jelly。蘋果及 Calpis 的酸清味道,爽口又清新,而 Koji Jelly 內的小粒粒,集結香甜酸的滋味,非常可口!

挾著 Mr Wong 及 Ms G 兩家悉尼的獲獎餐廳名氣而來的「口利福」,為唐人餐注入東南亞地方色彩,彷彿要為細小的香港開闢一條唐人街似的。在香港居住的外籍人士或回流的港人,「口利福」或許為他們添上不少口福,藉此可懷緬昔日唐人餐的風味。而作為土生土長香港人的我,對唐人餐沒有特別的情感,相對而言回味指數並不不高!

實在想不到我還會到口利福這類店子吃飯。平時吃傳統中菜還要挑三揀四的,今晚竟然來這裡吃煮給洋人吃的新派中菜。位於在荷里活道旁一條小小橫巷,附近沒有泊車位,離行人扶手電梯遠遠的;若非朋友介紹,絕不會自己摸到這兒來。地面是半開放式廚房,廚子們全是非華裔人士。最醒目的是一片由麻雀牌子砌成的矮牆;一條漆黑樓梯,引領至地窖。餐廳座無虛席。左邊是一整桌金髮洋人,右邊是七、八個只得十多歲的少男少女,操著流利英語,打扮得準備等下子去clubbing跳舞的樣子。幾個少女濃妝短裙高跟涼鞋,嘰呢呱啦地說笑不停,頗為賞心悅目。店裡裝修新潮,大體上就是黑漆漆的,偶爾幾個龍形雕刻或雙喜擺設,再來數幅色彩豐富的懷舊香港掛畫,滿足了洋人對中國文化的好奇。震耳欲聾的外國音樂,令人昏昏欲睡的暗淡燈光,我自大學畢業後就不再蒲這種地方,轉眼間十年就過去了,難免感嘆青春一去不復返。雖說是中式餐館,頭盤卻先來份生牛肉他他,除了灑在牛肉上的炸蒜粒、及伴碟的兩片炸蝦片外,實在說不出哪兒有中菜特色。油甘魚生沙律是百分百的西菜,味道倒是不差。炒飯、炒雜菇,鑊氣欠奉,說不定是因為電磁爐的力度有限。春卷和餃子,吃下去就像美國唐人街小餐館的出品

牛肉生菜包,混合了川式醃菜,看起來很是吸引,吃著卻嫌太鹹,辣味掩蓋了一切;其實所有餸菜都是如此味道,也許洋人認為這就是中國菜吧。

餐牌上的甜品只得三款,均是西式,不叫也罷。

食品不貴,貴在酒水。五個人,每人大概六、七百元,其中一半都是酒水錢。吃著這麼鹹的東西,總要多喝些飲料吧。

這次算是見識了所謂的潮人新派中菜。裝潢、氣氛、綽頭、餐具設計等,都是很不錯的;至於食物,我還是光顧一般的中菜館了。

本人一向都好少食FUSION菜,不過呢今次聽聞有間新開的中菜D口卑唔錯,所以決定一試!!今日搵左d中學同學去試一試有~等左一陣就有位 大約5分鐘到啦~我地一行4人坐就叫野食啦~叫左個炸雞翼,餃子,WAGYU SHORT RIBS ,清蒸軍曹魚 4樣野第一係炸雞翼配蝦三爸醤炸得唔錯唔會太乾,同理佢地個蝦三爸醤辣辣地又幾好食第二係餃子餃子賣相呢就一般但係有內涵喎!咬落去呢一d都唔實,菜同肉比較好好,唔會太多肉第三係WAGYU SHORT RIBS賣相好好!好大份 食落去唔會太乾 唔錯唔錯第三係清蒸軍曹魚+白飯呢個賣相一流 有d醃辣椒係上面但唔係太辣 有d家庭feel!!今次口利福之行唔錯~都夠飽 下次去再試下其他菜!

Yeah, i am back again! This time gotten wait for a table but its ok! They give away free beers while waiting for a table! Man... I love waiting in lines now. lolGot ourseleves a table after 20mins we got here, while we were waiting we already placed our orders to the servers. (some dishes might ran out fast!) Oh my God, Never though of Beef Rib could be so soft and Juicy. I heard they cooked in low temp. for over night! Really really good food, have to go back again some other time. Maybe next time they will give us food while we are waiting for a table. (Ha Ha)

dumplings are soft And very tasty , the hamachi really fresh And the homemade lemon jam is the citrus perfect conbination.
the steak tartare is delicated and juicy they served with casaba crackers And cucumber.
pork very is amazing server explain to us how the cooked overnight 14 hours 72 degrees that why is so tasty And tender. The ponzu dressing salad And the chilli And roasted almond salsa make this dish perfect.
size dishes good to share we were 2 And with 5 dishes we were quite full but with some room for dessert.
the passionfruit sorbet with coconut And lime smarsmallow give us the best end for our meal.

The dinner that we had was perfect ! Good music , good service and cool atmosthere.
题外话/补充资料: Perfect place for big partyes they take booking for 6 or more And have room for big tables.

My friends and i were hanging around Soho, caving for some chinese food. When we walk up Elgin Street, the open kitchen and the wall of mahjong from them got our attention, i wonder how many sets they used on that wall. (lol)We went in around 6:45, got a table right away and there was a return time at 8:45, very reasonable timing for dinner just for 4. Once we set down, servers started approving us. Asking are we first time diners, explaining their best selling dishes, how they prepared they own

We went in around 6:45, got a table right away and there was a return time at 8:45, very reasonable timing for dinner just for 4. Once we set down, servers started approving us. Asking are we first time diners, explaining their best selling dishes, how they prepared they own roasted meat?! Really? they roasted by themselves? YES.
We have ordered quite a number of dishes, such as "Mon's Mostly Cabbage Dumplings, with a bit of pork", Tomatoes Salad, Chef Special Risonni, Lo mien, Lu Rou Fan, Roasted Goose.etc. I personally had a lot of Dumplings in my life but this... speechless! It tasted FANTASTIC. Coz normally Dumplings filled with minced pork but this filled with pork neck. I should have taken a picture but my friend ate one the minute dishes arrived. Ar.....
2nd dish which suprised me was the Chef Special Risonni. Stir-Fried Rice shape pasta with goose, pea AND lots of fresh black truffles on top! OH my god, the amount of black truffles covered 80% of the "Rice". Can you image that? Price wise only $358. Pretty resonable.

I work near this newly opened restaurant, and passing by all the time, I have been wanting to try it out. We went with a couple of girl friends on a Friday night, and although they were full when we arrived around 8pm, we only had to wait for a short while before they got us a table in the middle of the dining room.The atmosphere is quite trendy and dark. First thing that came was the raw hamachi salad. The sauce is citrusy and the fish tastes fresh. Quite refreshing, and I loved the "puffed buckwheat" on top which gives it a nice crunch.

Next dish was the fried chicken mid wings, and they are served with a sambal sauce.  Really aromatic and flavourful. I overloaded my one wing with lots of lime juice.

Third thing is called Mom’s “mostly cabbage, a little bit of pork” dumplings. They are really well done, actually. I love cabbage in dumplings and this is just my favourite! I always find that cabbage makes dumplings have a "sweeter" taste and this one still has the texture from the veggetable, not mushy, can totally tell it's made fresh. This was my fav so far.

This was the fried cauliflower and brussel sprouts, and they used a sweet bacon "chili jam". Chili jam is an Aussie thing, and I've had it over kangaroo at barbecues before, but I've never imagined it being used for a stir fry!

The char siu, as recommended by the waitress. Surprisingly nothing crazy or fancy here. Just good, old fashioned char siu with really good pork. It was tender and lean enough for my taste. You can apparently choose for it to be more charred. I might try it next time

The final item - and the reason why I ate waaaayyyy too much white rice, was the roasted wagyu short ribs.  When I first looked at it I thought I didn't look very asian at all, sliced up like that, but the taste has that really good charred "hung siu" flavour! It's so tender, and great with the shallot kimchi (you MUST eat it with the kimchi).

For dessert we had this green apple & calpis granita, which is sort of like Taiwanese shaved ice. We also had the green tea sponge cake with hazelnut ganache, which was really rich and delicious! Unfortunately did not grab the camera in time before it was devoured by my gluttonous friends


Will definitely come back. This is a good place to drink and enjoy a long meal, chatting with friends.  They take reservations for bigger groups only so it's good for weekend nights, sipping sake and munching on wagyu ribs.

大家好!隔咗一排冇寫食評,今次嚟到中環蘇豪區覓食,係出哂名嘅「鼎點1968」同平民麵檔「民園麵家」隔離,開左間中西合璧嘅中餐館,中文叫「口利福」,英文就玩英文粗口諧音"Ho Lee Fook"... 聽聞係同「住好啲」合作搞出嚟嘅「花臣」(fusion)中餐。係門口就見到開放式廚房,見到幾個廚師好忙碌咁不斷切菜,水吧就用上麻雀做裝飾,頗有心思。餐廳座位係地牢,燈光幽暗有啲入咗遊樂場鬼屋嘅感覺,配合唔知點解要咁大聲兼強勁節拍嘅音樂,我同男朋友要求坐到一個比較寧靜嘅角落(只係相對上)。打開餐牌,都只有英文,款色不多只有大概16/7樣菜色。我地因為唔係太肚餓所以只點咗「怪味雞」同「辣魷魚」,同叫侍應俾兩杯冰水...埋單$266總結:+ 食物味道唔錯,定價可以接受,音樂過份嘈吵X 清水同服務費佔咗$62,係隔離民園或鼎點足夠食一餐。
