八月十九日(星期三)同老公做完gym後,就到Toast Box吃個晚餐!知道它沒有人排隊,所以都慢慢地行過去!我們當然要吃喇沙!而另一樣就是咖哩雞肉飯,飲品方面首選是美祿恐龍!原來有好立克恐龍的,不過我們喜歡美祿多點!面的美祿粉好吃!但是要注意吃時不要笑...否則會噴到對方/檯滿是粉!未來飯時都已經飲了一半!喇沙有點失望,椰汁味不太濃!只吃到一個辣字,但是記得上次尖沙咀店好吃的!水準差得遠!粉都還可,料有蝦,豆卜等!咖哩雞肉飯,咖哩就都是辣,比出面的泰式餐廳還要差!真是跌眼鏡了!下次還是到尖沙咀店!

原來有好立克恐龍的,不過我們喜歡美祿多點!面的美祿粉好吃!但是要注意吃時不要笑...否則會噴到對方/檯滿是粉!
未來飯時都已經飲了一半!

喇沙有點失望,椰汁味不太濃!只吃到一個辣字,但是記得上次尖沙咀店好吃的!水準差得遠!粉都還可,料有蝦,豆卜等!
咖哩雞肉飯,咖哩就都是辣,比出面的泰式餐廳還要差!真是跌眼鏡了!


下次還是到尖沙咀店!

因為剛剛在Triple O食了漢堡包想飲杯嘢,於是走到外面的吐司工房一試這裏的咖啡同香蕉蛋糕嘞,咖啡很一般但比茶餐廳的易入喉, 蛋糕就真的比一般的甜,可能係馬來風味掛,Service 好像快餐店雖然店員已經盡量克制但難掩他們心內的壓力, 看到收銀的小姐可能是新來的在茶檔內的師傅一路沖茶一路鴿實她,她一出錯立即在旁指導佢,再指導佢, 有點覺得到底是那師傅過份緊張定還是那個新人真的那麼不濟?可能那裡租金真的很貴, 不得不壓至每個員工透不過氣來,但依我觀察那裡流量也相當大, 星期六的下午也未至無位座就知営業数據可能未如理想,溫馨提示:如果是糖尿病患者切勿試圖或企圖品嚐這CAKE

Went there 2 weeks ago and was shocked at how bad the food and the service was. I ordered a chicken curry with rice. The curry was watery and tasteless. The iced coffee was equally tame. The service was pretty bad - the staff there clearly had little idea of what they were doing. The person taking my order was rude. His tone was like a teacher!Don't think I'd go back again

繼續5月的食評,個人對包類食品沒什好感,但經過這兒,既然這麼多人也吃過,身為潮人的我沒理由不去一試的.我要了肉鬆吐司餐,蛋要煎的,飲品是美祿恐龍,長話短說(因為我其實都不太記得了),厚吐司下了不少肉鬆,再加點煉奶,又咸又甜,味道卻是討好的.煎蛋正如圖中所見,沒有絲亳蛋汁,明顯地過火了,澆上醬油後味道好得多,美祿恐龍,表面鋪上美祿粉,本以為味道會比正常的濃,滿心期待的喝,喝了兩口便停了,發覺只是虛有其表...........試過了,總算仍是一位潮人,

Last weekend, 1st August, at about 5pm, I went there for a meal. On a crowded Saturday afternoon, two male staff were actually trying to pick a fight! One was shouting loudly and he seems to be very proud to have gotten everyone's attention.

Today was worst. I decided to stop by for dinner on my way home from work. I ordered a spiced pork instant noodle. The cashier, who was irritating enough coz she had a mask on so I could hardly hear her, asked if I wanted instant noodle. Since you asked, ok, "maisin" instead then since you have "maisin" for laksa, shouldn't be an issue, then she said no to me. WHY DID YOU ASK?!

I waited for 5 minutes, they brought everything but the eggs. I asked, was told they are boiling them (without checking). Waited for another 5 minutes, I walked up to the counter and asked. All 3 staff looked at each other and realised no one has done it! I was too mad by then had lost all my appetite. I didn't want to create a scene there. I left without eating my noodle and only had half a toast.

I decided to post it here because I want to urge everyone to support only businesses that are serious about their businesses. That includes hiring staff who take their work seriously, value their customers and equip them with proper training!!

If you happen to know anyone working in Toastbox at a corporate level, please, relay my message across!

今天又到了老銅,見熱得厲害,吃一些簡餐及星馬食品亦是不錯,所以和女友到了這家從星州來的過江龍,一試其手勢。今回選食物也不是什麼煩惱事,試最大路而招牌的東西是最適合的了,所以二人點了一個星州喇沙套餐及一個傳統土司套餐,再加一件斑蘭蛋糕就成了。在等候其間,拿起手機拍些照片,但被店員阻止,若人家只是不讓我拍室內或是廚房,而不是不讓我拍食物的,我會安然收機,畢竟也是私人地方,但令我最為困擾及疑竇的地方是,既然Open Kitchen的原意,是想食客望到在內的情況,咁俾人家拍張照片又何妨呢,咁驚,就咪鬼整Open Kitchen啦!當然,最後是經過我及女友的幫助下,以鍥而不捨的態度拍得數張相片。先說那傳統土司套餐,有兩件由兩塊麵包烘成的多士、兩隻蛋及一杯飲品所組成,蛋可以選半生熟蛋及熟的煎蛋,那當然是選半生熟蛋,個人認為更好吃,說真的,以蛋配那多士真的不大對勁,因為那多士是甜的,所以唯有淨吃,咬了一口,蛋黃汁立時爆出,果然是半生熟,時間控制得宜,而且蛋白嫩滑,吃起來滿有蛋香,也很是不錯。而那塊多士其實是以鮮牛油和咖央醬為餡料,以烘過的麵包夾起來吃,麵包是最普通薄身的那種,但烘得脆脆,而且面頭只有

而那塊多士其實是以鮮牛油和咖央醬為餡料,以烘過的麵包夾起來吃,麵包是最普通薄身的那種,但烘得脆脆,而且面頭只有一點點焦的,有點碳水化合物的焦香,更好吃,配合中間甜甜的咖央醬,及有點點鹹的鮮牛油,鮮牛油呈半融狀態,所以混和了咖央的香味,很容易的就溶在舌頭上,感覺不錯。

之後再吃喇沙了,店員端上來時,也真的是蠻香的,喝起來有椰香而有辣勁,比以往吃過的辣,但對我來說當然不會太辣,所以印象不錯,而其湯底也喝得出都是如以往寫過的那一些,但用叉舀起麵條一看,立即啞口無言,那些麵條原來是米線來的,現在是不是玩星州菜跟雲南菜來fusion呢?而且米線吃起來是過腍,很明顯的是煮得過久了,而其他材料如芽菜、豆腐卜、蝦及魚片只可以說是不過不失,不足以彌補這個大缺陷。

最後吃一口斑蘭蛋糕當甜點,蛋糕鬆軟可口,像綿花一樣的,而斑蘭味也是隱隱的滲出來,不是太強,但就是能足以讓你在舌頭享受一會的,那種香味,配起綿綿而香甜的蛋糕,吃起來也是簡單的美味。

吃過蛋糕,最後再來茶及咖啡作結,和女友享用兩個餐,有兩杯飲品,一杯茶一杯咖啡,兩樣也試,此處的茶及咖啡也是星馬式的拉出來的,加了煉奶來一起拉,按道理是滿杯也是泡的,但不知何解咖啡的那杯很多泡,而茶的那杯完全沒有泡,但簡單直接點說,茶及咖啡都沒甚茶及咖啡味,而且煉奶也不是太香,這杯茶及咖啡,真的不大對版。

吃後的感覺也有半至六成飽,而得出的總結包餅類得,但麵類及飲品唔得。

18-7-2009上個月去新加坡都無幫襯過 Toast Box, 呢日 dinner 要自己搞掂, 就第一次幫襯香港呢間吧. 叫了叻沙套餐 ($38), 跟熱薏米水 (加 $3) 一杯.喺 counter 睇住店員 #1 將少量薏米糖漿「畢」入膠杯, 再由店員 #2 倒入大量熱水, 心涼了一截, 可幸飲落 ok -- 頗杰身, 但清甜潤喉, 味道又唔差.叻沙賣相不錯, 但食味就真係.... 面頭灑了點碎叻沙葉 (?), 湯底聞落其實幾香, 但飲落不但唔辣, 仲幾稀又好淡, 唔得喎 米線腍腍的, 吸滿索然無味的湯底, 你話好唔好食喇? 配料有 2 開 4 的無味(雪)蝦, 唔索湯的豆卜, 腍腍的魚片及大量味道好「生」/「青」的芽菜, 絕對食之無味, 棄之不可惜. 已經唔想攞佢嚟同新加坡的比較 (咁樣比法太 unrealistic 吧?), 但枉佢係新加坡品牌, 同香港其他對手 (e.g. 加東, 巴沙, 甚至馬拉盞: 詳見 http://www.openrice.com/gourmet/reviews.htm?userid=28127&mode=®ion=&Order

米線腍腍的, 吸滿索然無味的湯底, 你話好唔好食喇?

係銅鑼灣行街行到有D肚餓,記起呢度有間野又未試過,所以入左黎試下:首先係被佢個班蘭蛋糕吸引左,因為香港無乜賣呢仲蛋糕既地方,只係新加波見過,所以試下,$13蚊一份,論味道就不能夠同新加波間Bangawan solo比,人地個D會重味道D,不過都夠鬆軟,不過不失啦另外叫左一個傳統吐司餐,有kaya同牛油係多士裡面,好味既,不過份量好似少左D,仲有兩隻蛋同叫左杯美祿恐龍,個蛋加左個黑豉油好好味,但係個美祿就....好多粉係面,但係杯野就好淡,就算我攪勻佢D粉會一舊舊,最後覺得食一舊舊既美祿粉會開心過飲杯野

真係專登走去買toast box的斑蘭蛋糕, 不過見到個蛋糕d 顏色有d卻步, d綠色好似有d artificial, 因為之前自己都整過斑蘭蛋糕, 用新鮮的斑蘭葉, 個色水好似唔係咁.... 斑蘭蛋糕 (***) : $1x, 好貴, 好細舊, 蛋糕好soft and angel cake style, 質地ok, 唔太乾, 不過味道唔夠香, 濃... 香蕉蛋糕 (****) : 平斑蘭蛋糕少少, 不過好好食, 好香banana味, 個人like banana cake better......不過都係貴咗d....

星洲喇沙: 比想像中細碗, 啲湯夠濃, 有好香蝦米味, 但係如果辣返啲會好味啲, 啲米線就唔得, 超淋, 其實我都唔明點解會用米線?? 係咪星加坡既食法?? 配料有豆卜同魚片, 份量都算多, 仲有隻蝦, 都OK., 食完印象唔深刻, 試過就算。餐飯改左美祿恐龍: 呢個我覺得唔得喎, 首先唔夠凍, 仲要係微暖, 第二, 味道唔夠濃, 唔知係咪自己唔好彩, 有啲似溝左水咁, 雖然面頭都有堆粉, 但都幫唔到好多....初時仲以為係沙冰黎....真係失望。

went there for lunch one afternoon and i was surprised at how ok the stuff was. Together we ordered the follow'five flavor beef" instant noodle - /5 - average, not bad....i like it cuz the noodle was a bit hard but some people might find it a bit too hard....or too raw...Pandan Cake- /5 - this was soooo good! i love it! it is soo soft and so flavorful.....the only problem was the price....for a small piece of cake it was a little bit pricy....but i am still addicted and whenever i pass by i

/5 - this was soooo good! i love it! it is soo soft and so flavorful.....the only problem was the price....for a small piece of cake it was a little bit pricy....but i am still addicted and whenever i pass by i have to get a piece!


Milo Moster-
/5 - nothing much to say about this....it taste like a milo....just has a lot of powder piled onto the top.....a gimmick...but doesn't change it all that much

Iced Milk Tea-
/5 - This was good! very creamy yet u can still taste the flavors of the tea! really really nice! i was pleasently surprised!!

overall, food was good...and it came out quickly! but i just wish the people working behind the counter could be a little bit friendier!

因為要買個健康點嘅父親節蛋糕,所以就諗起斑蘭蛋糕..............原來香港可以食到斑蘭蛋糕嘅地方唔多................除咗呢間外,亦多謝食友嘅相助,話比我知美孚有得賣,另外仲有1間灣仔嘅星加坡食肆(不過都收得幾貴,仲要先落訂,師傅再覆實幾時有時間做)............因為地點同價$$$考慮,所以2日前訂咗呢間.............jun 27, 09嚟攞餅 1) 斑蘭蛋糕 (hk$128)-我要求原個唔切開-聞都聞到斑蘭嘅香味-切落都軟同鬆,入口嚟計,濕度都叫合格,但絶對可以再好d-個綿密度同蛋香味還是稍欠-但呢個價$$$$,ok啦 * 因為無銅鑼灣分店嘅電話............唯有致電尖沙咀舖訂(女店員接單),要求銅鑼灣攞.............見第2日都無銅鑼灣店職員嘅覆電,於是就再打比尖沙咀舖............我估喺經理嘅男子今次好有交"帶"...........做好咗佢嗰part之後就同我講聲(因我同佢講,嗰日如果我交唔出呢個蛋糕都幾麻煩)........好快就收到銅鑼灣店職員嘅覆電.........很好的服務

-聞都聞到斑蘭嘅香味
-切落都軟同鬆,入口嚟計,濕度都叫合格,但絶對可以再好d
-個綿密度同蛋香味還是稍欠
-但呢個價$$$$,ok啦

Finally got the Kaya buns that were advertised in the magazines a while ago $8 for 4 pieces. When I saw it from the magazine, it seemed quite a bargain 4 pieces for $8, usually the average bakery from this place are $7 or more.When I saw the real thing, it turns out to be 4 mini buns, about 4 cm x 4 cm in size, which is equivalent to the amount of 1.5 buns.Anyway the bread was mint coloured, and filled with Kaya filling, the stuff they sell in jars as well.It was a bit sweet for me, if there was

When I saw the real thing, it turns out to be 4 mini buns, about 4 cm x 4 cm in size, which is equivalent to the amount of 1.5 buns.

Anyway the bread was mint coloured, and filled with Kaya filling, the stuff they sell in jars as well.

It was a bit sweet for me, if there was less filling or less sugar in the filling, then it would be better. But anyway it shows they are generous with the filling.

傳統吐司餐 $28 + $2凍飲蛋很普通的...吐司...細細兩舊...唯一好是奶茶, 好香, 而且這香味很獨特時代廣場真是很多地方都貴唔抵兩塊麵包…自己都烘到啦...加d果醬同牛油...同係屋企自己整既野無乜分別 XD最令人苦惱是那些無乜味既牛油大大舊...好唔健康...
