Knowing that this place is very popular among Hong Konger & Indian community, we made a booking at 730pm. Even though we reached shortly before 730pm, we still needed to wait for another 30min before we were allowed to enter as those customers inside have not left yet. First came the papadum, it was a complimentary starter that was quite common in most Indian restaurants. It was very thin & crispy, charred to perfection. The sauce was in light peppermint taste, causing one's feel like having more and more. It would be better if they have the hot & spicy sauce too.

Nachos salad was served with huge portion. It came with a lot of ingredients & topped with sour cream for us to mix it well. It was another good appertizer to start with.

Since we ordered masala lamb, we ordered garlic naan too as it will be quite bland to just eat the masala alone. Even though the meat is quite tender, it would be better if the sauce could be more. After finishing the masala, there is still some left over naan for us to finish. Naan has a very strong garlic smell, taste as good as those naan i have tried in Xinjiang.

 From the picture alone, one could imagine how huge the portion was. Baby ribs was coated with BBQ sauce, and every meat is very tender & juicy.

Squid ink pizza comes with several topping and with thin crust, so allowing us to finish it easily. It was quite a special dish, Italian ingredients with Indian way of baking.

Most of us ordered mango lassi as this drink is quite common in India and Nepal. Every drink's top comes with some pattern, customized individually by the bartender depending on the customer's personality. What a sign of consideration. Overall, this was a fulfilling dinner.

第一次寫食評..
雖然食左好耐都未得閒寫, 今日終於有機會寫返喇!

兩位朋友選擇左黎呢間餐廳同我慶祝生日
其實我地3個都係第一次黎幫襯
反而隔離果間超多人等位既我就食過一次..
相比之下..呢間餐廳唔算多人(就算係平日隔離果間book左好耐都book唔到)
所以環境唔算坐得好迫當然服務都唔錯啦
所有職員都自動自覺, 好有熱誠去幫每一個客人

我同朋友都超中意食芝士, 所以叫左芝士薄餅, 因為我地唔食咖哩, 所以冇叫到咖哩點黎食..如果就咁食就有D淡, 所以叫多左個菠菜芝士點黎食, 點左都幾夠味, 不過個人覺得芝士薄餅唔夠香同熱, 呢個一般, 下次可以試其他菜式!

呢款餃唔記得係邊度地方既菜式, 未試過就叫左黎食, 同平時食開既冇乜特別, 係多左D香葉0係入面, 因為怕辣所以只點左少少佢既醬黎試, 不過唔點又好似差D野咁..下次都係可以再叫其他黎試..

題外話: 因為見到餐牌寫住早D通知餐廳可以準備蛋糕碟上寫上生日字句, 但由於係第一次幫襯, 諗住黎食餐飯就算, 見到呢個牌寫住又咁岩我生日, 就膽粗粗問下職員(後尾知道佢係經理老虎仔)有冇得送生日cake, 點知職員就話佢話唔到事, 同埋個cake好平姐, 自己叫都得啦..咁我地就諗住睇下飽唔飽先再嗌黎食..

去到差唔多食完, 又有另一個女職員(Sabrina)主動走上前同我地傾計, 問我地係咪第一次黎食, 佢話如果黎過既一定認得, 我地的確係第一次黎, 所以咩都唔知, 佢話原來平日黎打電話book好似話有9折, 但要電話預早講定, (不過我同朋友D英文都唔係好叻, 所以都可能同聽到既有D出入), 跟住有個識講中文既職員走埋黎又話, openrice有時會有coupon有9折, 但我地去幫襯果日已經冇左..所以都冇計..

之後同朋友傾下計, 去完toilet之際, 突然播左一首超大聲既生日歌, 熄哂燈, 又有D職員跟住首歌唱同拍手, 成間餐廳既食客又周圍望下, 睇下邊枱有人生日, 點知望黎望去都冇一枱有反應 
, 之後個識講中文既男職員就拎左一件cheese cake出黎, 周圍問人係咪你生日呀? D食客就呆左, 話唔係..個個都話唔係..O哂咀..驚喜既事黎喇...原來果件cake係送比我架..但係個男職員就係度玩野點都唔比件cake我咁, 由於佢頭先話冇得送既關係, 我同朋友都以為係有其他人生日, 冇諗住會有呢個suprise, 真係好開心, 成件事好搞笑之餘仲好驚喜, 連我D朋友都比D職員嚇一嚇..不過成件事係開心既

今天食咗一個不錯的午餐,四個人每人$67.00,抵食,好味.首先佢地D午餐包湯,薄翠片,冷熱飲品。我地點左四個餐,第一個㗎喱牛肉加印度包,㗎喱好味吾太spice,ok,牛肉好林、個包新鮮。第二個墨西哥㚒餅,有蝦或鷄,我地揀左蝦,餅薄餸多,有菜好多芝士及切碎蝦段,好食,重有三種醬奌奌,綠色係牛油果,白色係乳酪、红色係番茄和菜,我地鐘意绿和白色。第三個係Pizza, 有水牛芝士,肉和菜,芝士好多,薄皮餅底好翠。第四個係意粉,蝦好大隻,意粉不软不硬剛好,難得!抄意粉牛油味重好香,good!午餐每日不同,晚上無餐要㪚點。好食下次再約朋友去。

同朋友一行人黎呢度食飯聚會我一早已經book定台, 因為我係為左佢地墨汁pizza底黎食一黎就叫左Masala Lamb, 普通底pizza, ribs, Risotto首先佢一上係Masala Lamb, 濃郁得黎而且唔太辣, 惹味好想再叫, 不過最後都無然後普通底既pizza上台了, 大家都分到一人一件, 佢地食完都話唔錯好好, 烤得脆而且上面又唔會乾好juicy, 芝士亦可以拉到絲, 然後佢地就話不如叫多款, 就叫左個墨汁底試本來佢地都話唔好, 但係之後我話係呢間餐廳有名既墨汁pizza底係主打之一佢地就俾我叫墨汁底!ribs我地叫左一條, 一上台大家已經搶住食, 肉勁淋身加上濃濃燒烤醬, 超級好食最重要係唔洗點用力, 基本上一切已經同骨分開左, 好快俾我地食左一半,而佢配既炸薯炸得亦外脆內軟, 好鍾意食呢d炸薯, 重點一定要連皮!!!!墨汁底pizza終於上, 唔洗講pizza緊係岩岩出爐熱食最正佢既墨汁底比起普通真係好驚喜, 個個食完都好後悔點解第1個pizza個陣唔叫不過抱住少食多滋味既心態大家都覺得好好!最後係侍應好好人, 我地台有bb係度, 侍應特地拎左杯迷你橙汁俾bb

ribs我地叫左一條, 一上台大家已經搶住食, 肉勁淋身加上濃濃燒烤醬, 超級好食
最重要係唔洗點用力, 基本上一切已經同骨分開左, 好快俾我地食左一半,
而佢配既炸薯炸得亦外脆內軟, 好鍾意食呢d炸薯, 重點一定要連皮!!!!

墨汁底pizza終於上, 唔洗講pizza緊係岩岩出爐熱食最正
佢既墨汁底比起普通真係好驚喜, 個個食完都好後悔點解第1個pizza個陣唔叫
不過抱住少食多滋味既心態大家都覺得好好!

最後係侍應好好人, 我地台有bb係度, 侍應特地拎左杯迷你橙汁俾bb飲
呢d小小舉動真係令人好窩心, 而且呢度價錢亦唔貴, 我地都決定一定會再黎食多次!!!!!!

很久未有光顧這家了!大家都有點念念不忘,所以同事們約好今天到這家餐廳午餐.已提前卜位, 來到即可入座.大家各自選了心水午餐.先上餐湯.今天是粟米雞肉湯.没有黑椒胡椒等香辛料, 清清地,.配上胡椒餅脆脆一同品嚐.Chef Reccomendation Salad With Tandoori Chicken HKD 82印式燒雞沙律就是平時在印度餐廳見到紅卜卜的TANDOORI燒雞,表面紅色的只是香料的顏色, 個人覺得唔辣!現在燒雞則切成長條形的,與菠蘿, 紅椒, 青瓜, 甘筍堆砌成一個小山.下方以沙律菜墊底.長長的TANDOORI雞肉, 估計是雞胸, 口感卻是軟棉棉, 唔硬.雞肉本身有底味:香料的味道及淡淡的肉香.菠蘿是手切新鮮菠蘿,如果要自己切原隻菠蘿, 真係好花功夫嫁,亦有點怕罐頭糖水菠蘿,超甜之餘, 也没有新鮮菠蘿的酵素.紅椒, 青瓜, 甘筍, 沙律菜真係好清好健康.再配上特制的沙律醬汁, 真係好清新,加上大大碟, 剛好滿足女生的食量.想不到, 印度燒雞與沙律走在一起都頗OK.唯獨价格是貴左少少

菠蘿是手切新鮮菠蘿,
如果要自己切原隻菠蘿, 真係好花功夫嫁,
亦有點怕罐頭糖水菠蘿,
超甜之餘, 也没有新鮮菠蘿的酵素.

紅椒, 青瓜, 甘筍, 沙律菜真係好清好健康.
再配上特制的沙律醬汁, 真係好清新,
加上大大碟, 剛好滿足女生的食量.

想不到, 印度燒雞與沙律走在一起都頗OK.
唯獨价格是貴左少少

As there are many good-written reviews in openrice, I visited this restaurant again though I was not quite satisfied with Porcini Ravioli which I ate at the first time. At nearly seven o’clock, there was a queue outside the restaurant. Fortunately, I had a seat immediately. Once I sat down, I felt quite cold and then I wore a jacket. The waiter then asked me whether the air-conditioner was too cold for me. This considerate question made me had the warm feeling especially he was busy at that time

As there are many good-written reviews in openrice, I visited this restaurant again though I was not quite satisfied with Porcini Ravioli which I ate at the first time. At nearly seven o’clock, there was a queue outside the restaurant. Fortunately, I had a seat immediately. Once I sat down, I felt quite cold and then I wore a jacket. Also, it was he, would ask you whether satisfied with the food.

Saffron is a spice derived from the flower of saffron crocus’ stigmas which are collected and dried to be used mainly as a seasoning and colouring agent in food. Saffron is among the world's most costly spices by weight.

I ordered Prawn Saffron Risotto at the price of $99 because I want to know how Saffron taste as it was so expensive. In fact, I tried Saffron dish in Steak Kitchen before but I could not tell the flavour. Therefore, I tried one more time in order to find out its taste. To my disappointment, I still could not distinguish the Saffron flavour after savoring this dish. Also, because of the subtle lightening, I could not see whether the risotto’s color was orange yellow. Later I found the information of Saffron , stated that it was hay-like fragrance.

Disregarded the taste of Saffron, underneath the decoration of carrot and red beetroot strips, there were taste like garlic chives (韮菜花) and so I supposed they were garlic chives. They were finely chopped into small grains, less than 2mm in length! The risotto was nearly thoroughly cooked and not creamy. Black pepper and garlic chives were the main condiments. Since the black pepper overpowered the taste of garlic chives, I think cheese instead of black pepper would be more wonderful. I liked the prawn most in this dish because of the nice seasoning of pepper and prawn’s freshness was alright.

AT the time I visited, there were two tables which had birthday celebrations. While the waiter delivered the birthday cake, birthday song was playing loudly and the song was playing twice as there were two celebrations. The volume was too high so I could not enjoy the birthday song which originally delivered happy and relax atmosphere.

We had squid ink spaghetti with seafood ($115), buttered naan ($24) and chicken tikka ($85).The spaghetti noodles were not the tangy, eggy variety; we suspected buckwheat, but weren't entirely sure. Either way, they were cooked just to the right texture, which we appreciated. In terms of delivery of a real sea tang and inkiness, this was probably a solid B+. The buttered naan was too gooey. The spaghetti noodles were not the tangy, eggy variety; we suspected buckwheat, but weren't entirely sure. Either way, they were cooked just to the right texture, which we appreciated. In terms of delivery of a real sea tang and inkiness, this was probably a solid B+. 

The buttered naan was too gooey. We prefer the lighter kind with a crispy base, but this was like a big slab of sticky flour. The curry was better. Loved the creamy consistency and the tender chicken meat. 

I liked the concept of the restaurant. The menu consists of all-time favorites from the global south, the selection ranges from a huge collection of Indian curry and naan, to Mexican fajitas and quesadillas, to lamb doners and kebabs. They have dozens of pizzas to choose from as well, including a squid ink pizza, and other meaty mains like baby ribs and steak. Your host is an outgoing and welcoming guy that will make you feel taken care of. 

Biggest complaint would be the noise level. This is a super tiny place and we almost had to shout at each other to communicate even though we were sharing a small table that could barely fit two plates.

第一次食南亞菜,都有d怕唔啱口味,不過朋友試過極力推介,即管試下!先食個魚柳芒果沙律,對我黎講個配搭好新鮮,魚柳係炸過既,都有成五六件;芒果好鮮甜,個沙律微酸好清新,五個人每人分少少開下胃唔錯。跟住就食海鮮pizza,個餅底好鬆軟,唔會太厚,芝士味香濃,都幾好食,但唔算特別。個燒羊脾就好好食,用左唔少香料(當然我唔知有咩),一d都唔膻,燒得好香,有四件,一齊分d黎食就啱,唔會漏。另外仲有叫左海鮮墨汁麵同埋咖哩雞印度薄餅,一黎到大家爭住食相都影唔切。個麵淡左少少,麵有d腍;個咖哩好香,配熱辣辣薄餅食到停唔到口!

食物方面,招牌芒果魚沙律,魚烤得剛剛好,一点也不乾,連不吃魚的朋友也吃得津津有味!還有南瓜牛油果芥末醬沙律,Nachos, 調味一流!

特別要求大㕑為我們做了roast beef 及大羊腿加特製醬汁。牛內多汁,生熟度適中。大㕑預先兩天就開始marinate羊腿, 再烤焗,(平時餐廳的羊架已經超好味),不得了!

醬汁太好味,再加garlic naan bread 清走醬汁!

Beetroot汁很refreshing!

感激Mala上下員工一同為我們的朋友製造驚喜!

對,沒有切餅,開瓶費,也沒加一!
又好服務,邊度搵!

每星期一都會到佐敦區,順道與友尋找區內美食在網上讀到這家餐廳有許多正面食評,決定到訪一試我們6pm 已到,時間尚早,無需等侯已有座位熱情友善的老闆會說廣東話,令友人點菜時十分意外餐牌提供多款美食,實在很難下決定,最後我們點了三道菜1. 蝦餅 -蝦餅炸鬼美味可口,口感彈牙我估計用上印式香料,味道與平日泰式蝦餅有點不同,但各有各好食2. 雞肉卷-雞肉味道較淡,因我比較喜愛濃味的食物,這道菜不是我心水之選,內有蔬菜配料和醬汁,感覺尚算清新3. 墨汁意粉- 充滿著美味的蒜蓉味,配料有墨魚仔和魚肉,意粉口感不錯,沾上墨汁令人很有食慾我們2人埋單只需$251, 十分抵食,我們打算下星期一再到這餐廳,品嚐其它的美食

放工完全大腦癱瘓,朋友話食乜就食乜,如是者就帶住疲累o既body嚟到呢間Mala~~~食飯時間仲要係happy friday, 預咗要做望夫石咁等,可惜等食仲悲壯過等男人,又熱又餓確係有啲燥底。。。拎飛嗰陣個writress 明明話等20mins, turn out 我同個 fd 等咗45mins 不過嬲會影響進食心情,所以入到去望到menu 已經9 秒9 let go 咗 d hard feelings餐廳唔算大,所以當晚氣氛好熱鬧,東南亞菜 mix 少少 尼泊爾菜,感覺都唔錯,大推佢個 rips, 叫咗半份啱啱好又抵食,另外 pasta 都唔錯,如果你同我一樣鍾情濃味又creamy ge 口感,你就真係要try try 佢 d pasta~~~另外佢d drinks 都好特別,味道好refreshing, 幾 match 濃味菜式

雖然book左19:30, 但最後都要等半個鐘先入座隔離小酒窩就幫趁過好多次, 從來冇為意隔離又開左間東南亞餐廳其實餐廳大小同隔離差唔多, 同一樣咁多人食, 所以坐位都迫迫地先來個胡椒餅, 好食, 不過哩度得薄荷醬, 冇我鍾意o既甜辣醬蘸nachos, 賣相同味道都唔錯, d脆片撈埋酸忌簾好好食Masala Lamb, 哩個就乾身左d, 一般garlic nam, 好食ribs, 幾林, 好入味, 幾好食墨汁pizza, 食落其實冇乜特別, 一般Mango lassi,杯杯o既花都唔同, 幾有心思grape & kiwi smoothie, 貧友哩杯送上黎時, 個拉花沉左落底同店員講, 佢竟然幫我地再畫多一個, 抵讚~

  Famished after lessons, I decided to try out Mala's Fusion Cuisine with my friend. It was a small but cozy restaurant, with dim lighting. We got there at around 2pm and it was about 80% full.   We ordered both Chicken Quesadilla($72) and Lamb Kebab($58) sets, drinks and tomato soup included. Chicken Quesadilla (8.5/10)  The quesadilla was so good! Steamingly hot, crispy on the outside, with a generous amount of cheese. It came with guacamole (my fav), sour cream and salsa. It tasted even bette

Chicken Quesadilla (8.5/10)
  The quesadilla was so good! Steamingly hot, crispy on the outside, with a generous amount of cheese. It came with guacamole (my fav
), sour cream and salsa. It tasted even better when you spread all these on top. However, oil was dripping out from the quesadilla when I tried to eat it with my hand 
 urgh so much guilt! Too bad the taste of the chicken didn't stand out, I could only taste the cheese and tomatoes inside.

Lamb Kebab (6.5/10)   
  The kebab was wrapped in soft (tortilla?) wraps, which I don't really like personally. I like the wraps nicely toasted. The portion was quite small, and the lamb meat was a bit on the fatty side. Yet overall they tasted okay together with the mint sauce.

  After our meal, one of the waiters (or is he the manager?) asked us if it was our first visit. He gave us a 5% discount after we shook our heads no. What a pleasant surprise!
