工業風水泥牆設計、不鏽鋼摺枱、紅藍膠凳、路邊攤嘅開放式廚房,加上猛烈嘅陽光🌞;小妹覺得自己一秒穿越熱辣辣嘅越南街頭。。。呢間充滿越南街頭風情嘅小店,原來主理人跟胡志明市著名嘅「Lunch Lady」學師,將當地食譜帶到香港。為咗忠於 Lunch Lady,用嘅香料同調味都係黎自越南,而麵嘅湯底亦係自家慢煮而成。午餐set 配一個麵食🍜同小食,小妹揀咗 Bun Bo Hue 牛肉米線。湯底用牛骨、牛肉加燒過嘅薑、辣椒、乾葱頭同乾香草等等熬製,湯底算清而香。牛肉大大片選用🐄 澳洲牛臀位置,肉味濃質感嫩。牛丸爽口而牛味好濃,係令人想食多幾粒嘅牛丸;豬肉春卷條食落似紮肉,同濃湯一齊食都唔錯。米線加了香蕉花和通菜莖切成的幼絲,令整體口感更豐富。小妹好鍾意食越南春卷Cha Gio,呢款自家製嘅👍🏻!即炸上台,香脆辣口。餡料除咗豬肉仲加咗芋頭,令春卷多咗份濃香同芋泥沙沙嘅口感。跟餐得2條,有d唔夠喉🤣雖然幾好食,不過Set lunch黎講價錢偏貴🙈只可以間中食吓

午餐set 配一個麵食🍜同小食,小妹揀咗 Bun Bo Hue 牛肉米線。湯底用牛骨、牛肉加燒過嘅薑、辣椒、乾葱頭同乾香草等等熬製,湯底算清而香。牛肉大大片選用🐄 澳洲牛臀位置,肉味濃質感嫩。牛丸爽口而牛味好濃,係令人想食多幾粒嘅牛丸;豬肉春卷條食落似紮肉,同濃湯一齊食都唔錯。米線加了香蕉花和通菜莖切成的幼絲,令整體口感更豐富。

小妹好鍾意食越南春卷Cha Gio,呢款自家製嘅👍🏻!即炸上台,香脆辣口。餡料除咗豬肉仲加咗芋頭,令春卷多咗份濃香同芋泥沙沙嘅口感。跟餐得2條,有d唔夠喉🤣

雖然幾好食,不過Set lunch黎講價錢偏貴🙈只可以間中食吓

如果你以為去越南餐廳一定係食pho,咁你就錯了,佢嘅招牌係[Ban Bo Hue]($118)用上椰奶熬製嘅生牛肉,配合牛丸,春卷等配料,湯底係少少以叻沙味道嘅酸酸辣辣,飲落係幾惹味特別但驚喜不大,配料亦睇唔上要收成過百蚊一碗...至於粉,係用上濱粉類似米線嘅質感,都算爽滑彈牙.

反而最令我欣賞同驚喜位係佢餐廳刻意地 ‘不裝修’嘅裝修,整個環境打造成好似啱啱油完水泥好工業風,好raw嘅感覺,外牆都貼滿越南文嘅標貼,加上鮮明嘅鐵檯,紅膠櫈,經典嘅food kart,的確有令人去左越南嘅感覺,除左埋單個下🤡
總括嚟講性價比的確唔算高,但無疑餐廳嘅裝修係幾有特色心思嘅,如果食物質素或價錢稍為調整相信會係一間出色嘅越南餐廳😀

After ordering our beverages, including Fresh Young Coconut ($50) and Fresh Lime Soda ($32), we had the appetizer for sharing. Nem Nuong ($78) is marinated pork sausage skewers, with roasted peanuts, fried shallots, fresh herbs and tamarind nuoc cham dressing. This is my favorite on the night, with the sausage very tasty, having great flavors and a nice mix of savory and umami. The herbs giving a refreshing balance to the meat, while the peanut provided the toasted nutty note with also a good bite.

Then we had the Banh Mi Truyen Thong ($98), with the Vietnamese baguette having five types of pork charcuterie, pate, mayonnaise, spring onions, cucumbers, pickles and cilantro. The baguette is very crunchy, but the fillings are not particularly impressive in taste. I would say overall it is not bad, but in my opinion would be better to try out the roasted chicken baguette instead.

My wife had the Bun Bo Hue ($118), with robust Hue style beef broth, roasted shallot and ginger, lemongrass, pineapple, beef brisket, beef balls, rare beef, cha hue pork sausage, fried shallots, fresh herbs and rice vermicelli. The taste is so-so, quite different than the other pho you might experience in other restaurants. But it seems to be a bit too oily, with the layer on the broth. Not sure this is the authentic local style however.

For me I had the Bun Thit Ga Nuong ($118), with cold vermicelli noodle salad, lemongrass roasted chicken, fresh herbs, roasted peanuts, fried shallots, pickles and cucumbers, and nuoc cham dressing. The chicken is quite good, juicy and tender, full of flavors as well. The dressing is always the essence of this dish and I like the great balance of its sweetness and acidity. I let my wife sampled a piece of the chicken and she definitely prefered this over the beef vermicelli.

After I ordered the dessert Kem Chuoi ($58), which is a banana coconut popsicle, with roasted peanuts and lime zest. The staff told me the dessert is on the house as they missed one of our order. While I cannot say I find the popsicle amazing, it is certainly interesting in taste. I think if they use more coconut cream to highlight its more intense flavors it would make the popsicle more tasty. But I certainly appreciate they make the effort to compensate for even a minor mistake.

Service is good, not only because of the free dessert, but when my wife was eating her vermicelli, the staff came and offered her with a piece of tissue to put around the collar, to avoid the soup from spilling onto her T-shirt. A very thoughtful and caring gesture. 

The bill was $543, and I agree that it is a bit on the high side. The food has its good and bad, but overall still decent. The atmosphere is definitely fun and interesting, and seeing all the tables were occupied with people waiting it is apparent that the restaurant did have a big group of followers.

路過兩三次這間越南粉店#被裡面一台越南粉車吸引了,講真裝修完全沒裝修,連椅子都是塑膠椅子點了兩份春卷,一份六小塊要78一個椰青要50,一般店最多45一碗吃也沒吃過的越南口味油油的放了椰奶牛肉熬出來的湯怪怪的味道,裡面一塊牛腩,兩顆丸子,一塊雞肉卷一樣的什麼,粉用的是米粉還不是越南粉,哎118以後再也不會去幫襯,人均快要200,中環大把好吃的啦!客戶也不是傻子,付錢吃東西也要看性價比啊

I've walked by this restaurant many times and have always been attracted by the overall ambience of the place. I decided to give this place a try because I've heard some nice things about it and saw it as a nice and seemingly fun place to have a casual lunch. I decided to give this place a try because I've heard some nice things about it and saw it as a nice and seemingly fun place to have a casual lunch. While I appreciated how spacious the inside of the restaurant was, I was extremely disappointed by the food. I ordered a bowl of Bun Bo Hue and to my surprise, there was actually a lot of meat in the bowl which is obviously a plus since most places aren't as generous with the meat. The ratio of noodle to meat is perfect.... however, probably 70% of the beef was fat. I'm not a very picky eater and will eat almost everything even if it's fatty but this was just not tasty at all. The beef brisket had way too much fat and while I still took a bite to try, it felt almost gross and unsettling. The sliced rare beef was the same. It's okay to serve fatty beef but this one almost tasted like it had been there for a long time and had some strange aftertaste. The roasted shallots, beef balls and pork sausages were good though. 
While there were some good things about this noodle, I felt like the beef itself ruined the entire dish. It might just be what I had ordered but because the service was so great, I will likely try and go back some time to try some of their other dishes before I confidently say I won't go again.

這間餐廳真的很差,又要搭枱,仲收到成港幣$110碗麵,價錢貴並不是問題,但真的很難食!喺中環越南嘢絕對有很多更好的選擇!除咗這位置比較休閒,真的想不出為何會有人再來這裏幫襯!那天是因為下大雨我才進了這間店!真的十分後悔呢!大家要小心看看他的餐牌才好進入這間餐廳,她甚至把餐牌收起來在店內才可以收看!如果大家想食越南野請向蘭桂坊或大街這邊走一走會有更多更好的選擇吧!其實點解可以煮越南麵做到這樣,湯不夠熱,牛肉沒有味道!只有那個火腩比較好一點!食了一半我已經沒有食了,立即埋單,不會再幫襯這些店舖

點了越南牛肉什錦濱粉,賣相跟外面的越南粉有點不一樣。湯底不是傳統越南豬骨湯底味道,而是加了辣的元素有點像喇沙湯底而且口感很吸引你把整碗湯喝下。而且最喜歡有幾乎是全生的高質牛肉在內,還有一大塊牛筋腩,牛丸和越南魚卷。雖然配的不是越南河粉而是濱粉,但無損這碗粉的品質。最后整碗粉連湯全吃光。

不過价格實在太貴,118+1要130元。這性價比實在太低,是越南同類食物的6-7倍價格。

As a started I had ordered their spring roll, which is made out of pork and taro. The crispy skin with a soft taro paste and a little bit of pork texture. I personally didn't really fancy taro in my spring rolls. Yet, on the upside this was not super oily like you feel the greasiness.

Rosted lemongrass chicken with cold noodle, got me a little surprise. The noodle texture was perfect, it was a little chewy ! I love the sauce that goes with the noodle, it was a little sour and spicy, was not too over the top ! if you are looking for a refreshing option, this is for sure the one you should choose ! this is perfect for summer !

My usual order is always their number two on the menu, their beef noodle. Yes when you read the ingredients you may have the same feeling... pineapple in my noodle how weird is that ? but actually it was perfect, it gave. little natural sweet note in the noodle, which increase the beef flavour in a good way. I love their soup base it was clear with a strong beef aroma and it gave a clean palette finishing. its light a flavourful !

不推薦來,一個好殘舊的地方去模仿越南當地可惜食物質素差 ,並不是地道越南粉是米線,湯又無特色98元再加一,大概110元食個咁既粉!咁既質素咁既環境咁既價錢真係得打手黎食個日就見到有人帶哂機黎影相,影碗麵影左勁耐,影到我地走都仲係唔同位置影緊全部都個預先整好再加熱,但碗野一啲都唔熱好伏,千其唔好去!好伏,點左個飲品lemongrass tea好似飲水咁,又係無味完全係伏!!!

First time trying out this modern hideout. Ordered the BUN BO HUE - very flavourful abd lots of ingredients. Portion was slightly small, but exceptable. Friendly staff and environment. Appetizers are also quite authentic and not your typical "honkie" style which is good!Overall, quite surprised and very happy experience - better than expected in terms of the food and authenticity. Will definitely be coming back for seconds!

店面細細唔易搵,都係同事推薦過來先知道呢間店的存在,不過聽講好食而且好抵食,坐低就叫咗小食春捲和一個招牌魚湯,主食就點咗3號面,個麵裡面的配菜好多,海鮮都有,所以個湯底鮮甜各種配菜搭配一齊食口感豐富,搭配出來味道都係好食的,朋友的2號牛肉麵距覺得都幾好味,配料都有好多種類,個湯底更加濃厚好味了。

剛好在電視節目上看到這裡的推介,於是來到這裡。可能是中上環的關係,又有可能真的是店主是越南人,這裡的menu全都是越南文的英文翻譯,假若不是有詳細的英文的介紹真的不知道是什麼。點了個Bun Ho Hue,有好多肉,有牛丸,牛腩。每款牛肉食材都好足料,牛肉煮得好稔。要數當中最特出的一定是牛丸,十分有咬口。湯底也好濃郁,充滿香料味道,睇得出很用心去制作。有別於其他店的粉麵,這裡的粉麵份量都比較多,吃得很飽。
