This is soooo awesome!! My first time in trying out "Bún mắm", which is totally different from pho!! The fish and shrimp broth is soooo rich and smooth, start missing its aroma already 😋😋😋 Love every element of the noodle! Okra is always my superfood! The pineapple is totally a surprise and its refreshness enriches the flavours! Shrimps are sooo fresh🦐🦐 Love the texture of homemade 🐽🐽meatballs and it absorbs the essence of the broth! Excellent service too!!

8:30左右去到 間鋪門面好似未裝修完咁 搵到到門口係一塊木板 ?! 無問題 味道最重要 估唔到weekday 8:30已經好多野賣曬 叫左2碗粉+凍咖啡 凍咖啡有炭香味 加煉奶底都唔係好甜 好止渴2碗粉有驚喜味道好濃但唔鹹 食完冇口渴嘅感覺

Co Thanh is a Vietnam restaurant. they had a casual setting. the shop was designed in a way as authentic to the Vietnamese. The food was so authentic and incredibility tasty.  BuN MaM(vermicelli noodles soup) is a must try!!!  Furthermore, we got to know from the waiter that they have something new served to the customer every day so we were also lucky to try fried eggplants with shrimp.  Make sure to ask the waiter if they have something out of the menu and make sure you try it!!As for the staf

As for the staff there, they all are super friendly and good English speakers so a tourist, you will have no problem here.  But it's not very touristic as a lot of locals dine there.

跟同事一人叫了一款麵食, 坦白講看不懂它的越南字, 只知道三款麵的伴餸分別是豬、牛和蝦。三款麵湯底也大致相同, 加了大量的香料, 如果不喜歡濃味的朋友, 可能唔岩食。我自己揀了牛, 入面有牛丸、肥牛跟一塊厚切五花腩(我唔明點解牛麵又有豬肉~), 除左牛丸無乜味之外, 肥牛跟豬肉都入味。而呢度的麵並唔係越南河粉或者檬粉, 反而是有點似我地香港的油麵。

不過呢間野都唔平, 一碗麵食就要差不多$100, 仲要唔包飲品。抵唔抵食就見人見致。
值得一提的是, 入面的店員好似都係ABC/BBC咁, 聽到佢地自己用英文溝通。同客人溝通就有時係唔咸唔淡的廣東話, 有時都會講返英文。但佢地態度好好, 服務質素唔錯。

慕名而來的確有驚喜,湯粉類不多款式,但精景比起 選擇多而美道平平來得出色,湯底出色,材料特別, 食得出大廚嘅心意,法包足料新鮮,最驚喜之作凍咖啡,回味無窮,串燒感覺肥膩,不太推介。 by the way 樓底比較高,玻璃比較大,冷氣弱,真心比較熱P.S. waiter smart and cute

Had a chance to try it out the other day at lunch. Saw a lot of good reviews and photos on Instagram, the interior design is definitely a plus. Ordered a A beef noodle and bahn mi. The taste is above average for HK Vietnamese food standard but I wouldn't say it's the best or most authentic. Good for photos though

之前,經過聞到好香,一班同事入去試下。個湯味道好特道係好飲,但唔明點解用米線,米線完全冇味,我果碗米線仲有d未煮透硬既,牛丸質素算好,但冇肉汁試過錦x果間就明,兩塊肥牛過老,一塊肥膏多過肉既牛腩,仲有一條似扎肉的東西。60蚊都可以接受,但98蚊一碗仲要加1就非常唔抵。

Got to know this place from a coworker. Located in a quiet street in Central with good restaurants nearby (Kau Kee), it’s hardly noticeable unless searching actively.Decorated with Street food stall style, the space is fairly small, and the menu is even smaller( which is always a positive indication) - 3 kinds of noodle soup and a few snacks/sides and drinks. I was there with my boyfriend and we just had couple happy hour drinks, so just ordered a noodle (Ban Thái) and a Ban Mi.Portion is small,

I was there with my boyfriend and we just had couple happy hour drinks, so just ordered a noodle (Ban Thái) and a Ban Mi.

Portion is small, but taste is SOOOOO GOOOD! The taste of soup is unique, aromatic, and rich in taste.something I have never had in other places.
The noodle is a kind of thick rice noodle that a little bit different from pho. The noodle comes with shrimp, special pork meat balls and beef, which are all quality.

What you can’t miss is the Ban Mi! It’s filled with coriander, sausage, Vietnamese pepper (we did ask for mild spicy), pickles and some other spices which are Good combinations. The bread is warm and filling is cold, which provides a nice sensation. The bread is very nice, with right amount of crunchiness and softness.

勞動節同老婆出開中環,老婆話想食越南野,所以就去左呢間,平日成日經過,但係裏便好多人,所以冇入去嘅,越南餐廳 Co Thanh。入到去第一個感覺就係好似去咗越南咁。啲裝修佈置都係非常之authentic,專登做到簡陋啲,正正好似越南街邊嘅餐室一樣。個餐牌全英文,雖然有啲豬丶牛丶魚嘅公仔,已經容易睇咗㗎啦,不過都係好難睇,最後都係要問侍應係乜嘢嚟嘅。我哋叫咗鹹魚蝦醬湯底麵同埋牛肉湯底麵。鹹魚蝦醬湯底麵都幾辣,味道很好,帶有少少甜味。同一般嘅越南餐廳唔同,呢間餐廳唔係用河粉係用米線。牛肉湯底麵買相都好authentic 好多乾蔥蒜丶蔥丶蔥絲。湯底略為淡味,可能我走晒啲乾蔥蒜及蔥都會有啲影響,不過我覺得湯底可以濃一啲。我仲試咗一支越南啤洒,味道可以。店內音樂比較大聲。店內廚房嘅抽氣系統都幾好,最初以為入完去件衫一定好大浸油煙味,但係一啲油煙味都冇。侍應服務都ok,個manager都會問啲客人「今日啲嘢食好唔好呀?」但係唔知係咪因為佢哋西人客人比較多,佢哋盡可能都會同客人用英文溝通。總結-裝修好似越南街邊餐廳,感覺去咗越南食嘢一樣- 推介:鹹魚蝦醬湯底麵 Bun mam- 餐牌唔容易睇- 音樂

難得可以出街午餐,即刻找同事推介下邊度仲有好野食,同事推介左兩間最後揀左食越南野。好彩早左去唔洗點等位。等位途中服務員已經比張餐牌(其實都係餐紙)我地揀定食咩,入到去已經聞到越南個種酸料味,未入去前已經幫我地入單所以野食來得很快,首先來個越南咖啡☕️好濃郁同事飲既...再來兩個單點,粉皮索滿汁味道剛剛好,春卷炸得好脆唔會油,入面係好香既芋頭...重點來了聽同事講呢間所做既係北越南風格,所以味道比出面食既別有一番風味,那塊肉好林好入味,個肉丸有啲似山竹牛肉。成個午餐係有啲貴不過真係值得一試。

聽同事講呢間所做既係北越南風格,所以味道比出面食既別有一番風味,那塊肉好林好入味,個肉丸有啲似山竹牛肉。
成個午餐係有啲貴不過真係值得一試。

I am not a fan of writing reviews or critics but the experience i had was so bad that it kind of motivated me to do so.When you see a simple menu at a restaurant it usually means something good, but this does not apply here. Serving only 3 kinds of noodles i expect them to be great,  but they were a total let down. The so called 'seafood and pork' broth tastes nothing of seafood nor pork- all i taste was like plain chicken soup mixed with tamarind. The broth is the 'soul' of a good bowl of noodl

When you see a simple menu at a restaurant it usually means something good, but this does not apply here. Serving only 3 kinds of noodles i expect them to be great,  but they were a total let down. 
The so called 'seafood and pork' broth tastes nothing of seafood nor pork- all i taste was like plain chicken soup mixed with tamarind. The broth is the 'soul' of a good bowl of noodles. This one totally kills it.
The toppings were of nothing special but a few pieces of shrimps with 2 fishballs and tiny squids and greens and thats all. The noodles are of so small a portion it doesn't even make sense for a  bowl that charges $98 + 10% service charge

Worst of all, the noodles came in only warm when all i want was a hot bowl of noodles in a cold day !

The snacks- i had the spring rolls which the wrappings were hard and the fillings were dry. The pork sausage skewers were on the too-sweet and salty side and they did not deliver a nice crispy cameralization you expected.

If you want some overpriced try-to-be-vietnamese-streetfood with real streetfood-level comfort then this might be the place.

Otherwise, think twice before you come here.

I don't see any service at all, not even a glass of water for each customer. Second, food is BAD, the noodles are mere a few thin fatty meat, with a bowl of so called broth of not much flavour except saltiness, tiny amount of noodles, which even a girl like me wouldn't have enough. 本身陪朋友來買外賣,卻被門牌和簡約越南街頭的裝潢吸引,決定在soft opening時一試。坐在吧台能觀看廚師們的表演。因為仍處於試業階段,暫時只供應湯麵、法包和春卷各一款。朋友都是愛吃之人,乾脆每樣各一吧!說少少背景,Co Tranh的主理人Brian Woo到胡志明市向盛名的The Lunch Lady拜師學藝,最初慘食閉門羹,故事最後當然是精誠所至。Brain把這三年裡學到各式各樣的湯底和越南小食都帶回香港、據說超過七成的材料都是Brain從越南親自挑選和引入,法包和燒肉等堅持自家製,他也專程運了越南街頭的小販車檔,以及找來越籍大廚Son Pham掌勺,務求做到最原始的越南風味越式法包(Bánh mì)材料豐富,先有雞肝混豬醬、數款自家製的扎肉、青瓜等新鮮蔬菜。食落富有層次,每一口的份量相若,不會食食下冇左涵😂$88稍嫌略貴,不過用料認真、又是自家製、味道很好,也算值得的。春卷不知何故不脆,沾上魚油也不見特別。內裡的豬肉加了芋頭頗特別,芋頭香消了些許豬肉的霸道,食落軟腍,估計想做到外脆內軟腍的對比。中上環賣Pho的比比皆是,然而除Pho外也有不同的麵食。越南的檬粉(Bún),也是

中上環賣Pho的比比皆是,然而除Pho外也有不同的麵食。越南的檬粉(Bún),也是受大眾歡迎,南北越從湯底到配料都各有不同。是次的Bún Mam湯底以三種蝦醬和鹹魚以成,味道卻是鮮甜偏淡。配料特別,有燒肉、魷魚和鮮蝦,蔬果如矮瓜、菠蘿和秋葵等。菠蘿的出現令我驚奇,很少吃越南粉會有鮮果的,可能是為了辟去湯底的海鮮腥味吧。秋葵卻應是附合潮流吧?

吃這裡的粉麵讓我不解,也因此擴闊了對越南料理的認知。寄望餐廳的用心能打開大眾的認受性,越南粉有很多樣化,正式開店定會再來試試和認識其他的粉麵😋

我好少寫食評,呢間實太有趣,要寫一寫!已經年初四,三個恆常會供應嘅麵得一種有,好,睇下你有幾把炮!結果係因為坐吧檯嘅緣故睇足佢整個出餐過程!麵一次過淥,之後續碗加料,得兩片完全無味下下級肥牛,加三粒質素拍得住百零蚊任食打邊爐嘅丸!湯底就係死咸!仲有朋友發版叫左春卷,呢間鋪真係貫徹始終又只得死咸!仲有香腸,肥到成口油!最有趣嘅係所謂好越南式嘅裝修其實根本係無裝修,仲要係紅色、藍色個d膠櫈,我唔介意你cheap,但唔好扮上菜囉!
