I had Chili Spaghetti with Scallops, no worries, it is not spicy at all. The chili merely creates the aroma of spice that enhances the dish. And the scallops, look at the size!!! Its too good to be true.
My friend had Kurobuta Pork served with rice, the pork is Fusion Gourmet's signature dish. IT IS SUPER GOOD!!! The pork is marinated first, but it belongs more to the sweet side rather than salty. The texture is just right, chewy and made perfect. 3 big chunks and rice is the right portion of a person.

Not at all hungry after a buffet lunch, I ordered a seafood bouillabaisse and a bread basket to go with it. The former was very substantial with oysters, mussels, crabs, prawns, scallops and fish - a genuine melange of fresh "fruits de mer". The fish was slightly overcooked, but other ingredients were of good quality. The bread tasted like it came straight from the oven and was nice on its own or dipped in soup. We managed to finish the whole basket between us and still craved for desserts. Here praise must be given to the house signature strawberry millefeuille - very crispy and was a perfect match with the sweet and smooth custard. The mango mousse cake was immediately outshone by the millefeuille. The service was good and the staff attentive. Though the meal was slightly pricier than expected at $300 per head, this was an enjoyable repast.
與友人晚飯,去了其中一間大家都喜歡的餐廳Fusion Gourmet. 來Fusion Gourmet,點菜跟本不是問題,因為bread basket $40(7/10),是必點的,麵包皮香脆,再加上法國牛油,好吃得停不了口。如果點了有醬汁的菜式,以麵包沾來吃,也非常可口。另一樣招牌菜是Korobuta pork(8/10), 是百吃不厭的主菜,肉質靚、烹調合度,雖然外貌平平無奇,但確實是實力派,信我,是我吃過的豬扒頭五位之一。Linguine with green vege(7/10)亦是大家的不二之選。豐富的蔬菜,新鮮、爽脆,又健康、又飽肚。這晚很想吃魚,點了catch of the day的三文,可惜有點腥,這是三文熱食常有的情況,(5/10)Fusion Gourmet是其中一間我認為健康與美味可共存的餐廳,加油啊!P.S. 此店有售賣新鮮食材、麵包、餐具等,每有好發現。

I was unaware of Fusian Gourmet's existence until relatively recently. In a bid to eat more healthily, I scoured OpenRice's "Western" restaurants in Sheung Wan thinking that something nearby must have something easy on the heart. And what luck, this place is actually good.
I will say that it's overpriced. I've complained about this before but $30 for a can of soda is ridiculous. I never expect that someone's going to charge me four USD for ten cents of sugar water, but then BAM! it happens everywhere here, and it does absolutely nothing to foster goodwill, imo.
We wanted to try the bread, because we've been looking around for good bread in HK (my friends bake their own and I'm really jealous, but not so jealous as to become less lazy, or to become magically possessed of an oven). Still, it's $20 for three measly slices.
The bread we got was OK, but it didn't blow me away: a raisin thing-- sorry, but raisins belong in bread about as much as fish roe belongs on pizza-- only Hong Kong violates the natural law so flagrantly. Another was sundried tomato-- good enough, but I can't think of any real uses for sweet tomato bread. The French bread was the best, but similar to the supermarket stuff of my childhood.
I decided to order off the a la carte menu instead of the set lunch (only the good die young, as they say). I got the prawns and angel hair. I enjoyed the quantity and variety of vegetables in my pasta: sugar snap peas, baby corn, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, asparagus, and more. The tomato sauce was a little bland, but on the other hand it wasn't greasy or sugary or bad in any obvious way.
I did think the angel hair was overcooked, so that the pasta experience was much more mushy than is desirable. The prawns were insanely jumbo, and while nothing special, were pretty meaty and nicely had the tails removed.
Overall, I'd get this again but it doesn't actually stack up to the shrimp and angel hair pasta I make in my own home, which is a bad sign because I'm hardly a star chef. The mushy pasta is really the Achilles' heel and but for that it would've been great. Merely good though: B
My wife got the set menu red snapper with orzo and tomato sauce. In many ways, it was just like the thing I ordered, but with snapper replacing the prawns and orzo replacing the angel hair. The tomato sauce was the same, as were the vegetables. Given the mix-and-match nature of the affair, my wife thought there was no real "theme" of the dish and while everything was good, it didn't really go together. She gives it a B/ B+.
On the whole I thought the place was good, and I can assert with certainty that we will be going back. Next time I'll skip the bread and soda for two ($80 all told) and maybe squeak away with a pricey-but-manageable lunch. Overall: B

They were way understaffed when we showed up. Plenty of tables, but our server was working so hard she forgot that we asked for the check. I've marked "service" a little low here but I really think it's the management that needs to keep a sufficient stock of employees.
Daily Lunch Menu有十款選擇,價錢由$78至$148,除了Healthy Combo Set有齊湯、沙律和麵包之外,其他的都是要逐樣加錢。是日想吃三文魚,所以選了Penne with smoked salmon and cream cheese sauce with vegetables;鬆弛看中了這裡的鮮肉櫃,選了Striploin Steak,是經過150天Grain-fed的。另外加了一客三片三種口味的麵包,和一客湯。點湯之前其實有問過一位看似較高級的人士關於當天的餐湯是什麼,他支吾以對好像不太清楚之餘,查清楚之後的答覆也讓人感覺有點不舒服,笑容也失奉,實在影響到用餐的心情。
