餅身來說 是很讓人滿意的 酥軟、濕潤而不粘牙 口感更甚Laudree
而內餡的滋味就略微 過甜… 有些顆粒感
不過少女的酥胸 這個美好的形容詞……一定是男生想到的吧?.
今日最滿意的 是瑪德琳蛋糕
鍾情的並不是貝殼花紋 而是高高鼓起的小肚子
某個弧度 讓這份圓潤顯得美麗 擺入口 也只是一整隻口剛剛好
有檸檬的香氣 讓人回味的輕輕甜意 濕潤又不會粘 真~美~妙~

今日試左lgb ge hightea set!無其他食評講到咁差,其實我覺得都okay!咸點幾好!不過全部都不夠熱(之前睇食評話服務麻麻好慢,可能就係因為咁搞到凍唒:00)但個melted cheese and ham sandwich好似落得太多沙律醬,有啲溜:0個Scone都係咁,唔夠熱,不夠重牛油味><搞到無咁好味:0但鐘意啲忌廉唔太甜:)至於甜品,個lemon tart同 leman loaf cake 都麻麻~~無望落咁好食~最好味係個macaroon!!!^^個皮好正!如果有得揀埋味道就perfect la! Haha 食完啲甜嘢仲有啲小水果清清個口,所以感覺幾良好^^再歎埋杯不太甜嘅cappuccino都唔錯^^每人要180度,其實不平,但佢好多包and carbs所以好飽,可以唔使食dinnerxd所以都可以接受:)

I wanted something sweet so dropped by to try their desserts. I decided on the chestnut tart and picked 4 macarons (rose, earl grey, fromage, chocolate) The chestnut tart is good but you get sick of it after eating half. The chestnut cream is too rich and also there's extra cream in the middle so it's too rich for one person to finish. But I loved the crust! It's so crunchy! I ended up eating all the crust and not the chestnut cream. The macarons were good. My favorite was the fromage with chees

The chestnut tart is good but you get sick of it after eating half. The chestnut cream is too rich and also there's extra cream in the middle so it's too rich for one person to finish. But I loved the crust! It's so crunchy! I ended up eating all the crust and not the chestnut cream.

The macarons were good. My favorite was the fromage with cheese one. It's not too sweet and the cheese filling is just unbelievably delicious! My second favorite would be the rose. Least favorite is the earl grey since I couldn't taste any earl grey flavors at all. The chocolate was just mediocre.

We ordered a Opera. And it was indescribably awful. Charging us $3X, we expected the cake to be heavenly and delectable. The Opera looks quite nice, but the taste was second-rate. Before I savoured the cake, I supposed the cake to have layers of tastes, but I was COMPLETELY wrong.The cake was actually a coffee cake. Mediocre! You can only taste coffee in this cake, but no wine, no chocolate, no crispy layers which Opera supposed to have.I don't know the quality of other LGB's cakes. But judging

自己搵位的~~最中意LGB 既latte~~勁香!!!而且價錢好合理!!!再order lemon tart!!!呢到既lemon tart會加上cream一齊上!!!個cream勁滑!!配埋個酸溜溜既lemon tart好夾!!!!!中和左d味,令到個tart更有口感!!!yummy!!!!

First, I think that the waitresses should learn several things before taking on the job
-1- Smile (it makes the guests feel good, relax and happy)
-2- Learn to understand and speak a reasonable level of English
-3- Know the menu and the food they serve included the ingredients that go in the food and food item options
-4- The customer is always right
Second, I think anyone who pretends to be a chef and wants to wear a chef’s jacket, should at least know how to cook an omelet
Arrived in the morning, only 2 tables at that time, ordered 2 omelets, one will all ingredients listed on the menu, and the other with ham and Swiss cheese only and well cooked, together with 2 black coffees.
The waitress acknowledged the order by picking up the menus, without thank you, without repeated the order, without asking if we wanted the salad and fruits on the side (as mentioned on the menu), she left so fast that we had to go to the bar to make sure we’ll get the fruits (good on us as she said she ordered the salad on our behalf)
15 minutes, and one order of egg Benedict on a table (arrived after us), next to us, later, our 2 omelets had still not arrived. After checking with a lovely “2 minutes” flying across the corridor, our 2 omelets finally arrives.
One well done on the outside and seriously uncooked inside, and made with unevenly bitten eggs, resulting in slimy uncooked egg white in the center, and so little cheese I could not taste anything. Ah I forgot, the chef had also forgotten the salt and pepper.
The other one, the one that supposed to be with ham and Swiss cheese, came without ham and without cheese.
Called the waitress who goes to the kitchen, comes back to the table, with the plate and says the chefs said there is cheese and place back the plate on the table as if “that’s the way it is just eat it”. No we said, please make one with Swiss cheese as asked, so the plate goes back and comes back with the same result as the first one.
So, we call the waitress again, and tell her there is no Swiss cheese in that omelet, so she comes back with a ramequin of parmesan cheese, and tell us we can add some more if we want, but that is PARMESAN not SWISS CHEESE….ah sweet cheese she says…..ok we just gave up, and eat. We had this request before; this is why we ask again. Finally she admits that she did not ask the chef properly about the Swiss cheese, or maybe I guess when the chef who cannot even cook an omelet, heard sweet cheese he thought she’s mixing up things and just did not bothered.
Well just to say this was almost certainly my last visit at LGB…..the management should change the chef for sure and then train the waitresses better….
The coffee was nice though!!

又是甜品餐。Cheese Tart勁愛食芝士既我本來對呢款甜品滿心期待,點知一叉落去,嘩!個撻底真係硬到無朋友,叉極都桔唔到上黎,搞到要低下頭咬開黎食,認真搞笑!芝士餡都是普通而已。Chestnut Tart栗子蓉味道濃郁,甜咗啲。栗蓉入面藏著清甜軟滑的忌廉同埋蛋糕,不錯。本來係幾好架。不過又係衰個撻底囉。食呢兩件cake,要完全放棄個撻底。Hazelnut唔識欣賞。一大陀過甜既榛子味cream加榛果仁,配合下層大大舊既海綿蛋糕,三者加起上黎產生不了美味的化學作用。海綿蛋糕質感粗糙。Lemon cake面頭薄薄的白色糖衣並不討好。不覺檸檬味突出。

Chestnut Tart

栗子蓉味道濃郁,甜咗啲。栗蓉入面藏著清甜軟滑的忌廉同埋蛋糕,不錯。
本來係幾好架。不過又係衰個撻底囉。食呢兩件cake,要完全放棄個撻底。

Hazelnut

唔識欣賞。
一大陀過甜既榛子味cream加榛果仁,配合下層大大舊既海綿蛋糕,三者加起上黎產生不了美味的化學作用。
海綿蛋糕質感粗糙。

已經幫襯過呢間既馬卡龍幾次了, 而且每次都要買一大盒先心足我好鍾意食甜品, 香港較出名而有賣既馬卡龍店鋪已幫襯過, 都係覺得Le Gouter既最好味, 食落唔會得個甜字, 講明就咩味就真係食得出個種名個人最鍾意呢到既玫瑰味, 伯爵茶, 芝士味馬卡龍, 味道特別又不會太甜, 表皮夠脆, 入面濕濕地軟軟地, 好好味

好好味的macarons! 最好味是Pistachio & Earl Grey 味! 個人覺得係raspberry隻味有d奇怪, 唔太好但其他都好好味, ganache 都好正! 而且$15個價錢合理 下次一定會再試下其他味!

與好友提早慶生,大熱天時都係'lee'入商場裡面好了~最後選左位於ifc既LGB。餐廳的座位屬於開放式,基本上當你見到有客人離開,就可以坐落去...(這樣好像快餐店似的...)其後人數開始多,店員才多放了"留座"的字牌在桌上。我們點了一 high-tea set $320 由最底層食起:芝士火腿多士方飽太腍,烘得不夠脆煙三文魚碎旦三文治三文魚沒有煙燻味,碎旦ok,因為好難會唔好食Pama ham 多士法包烘得脆脆的,中層有洋蔥蕃茄碎沙律,上面是pama ham這個很好食!!提子鬆餅配提子jam很鬆化,唔點果jam會更好~士多啤梨撻士多啤梨好新鮮cream亦好滑,撻也香口他們又另附了多一晏cream在側,方便喜愛多cream的食客Macarons(是我吃過最好的一家)---外皮脆脆,中間軟滑---芝麻: 味很濃,宜最後食cheddar cheese : 好好味,一陣風咁食左落肚雲尼拿: 需先吃,有雲尼拿籽係裡面,好香滑raspberry: jam酸酸咪咪好醒神^^ i like it香蕉朱古力蛋糕香滑朱古力包圍著香蕉容,香蕉不是完全磨難的,好有口感。最後,吃上清甜的"迷你生果"作結尾。

三文魚沒有煙燻味,碎旦ok,因為好難會唔好食
Pama ham 多士
法包烘得脆脆的,中層有洋蔥蕃茄碎沙律,上面是pama ham
這個很好食!!

提子鬆餅配提子jam
很鬆化,唔點果jam會更好~
士多啤梨撻
士多啤梨好新鮮
cream亦好滑,撻也香口
他們又另附了多一晏cream在側,方便喜愛多cream的食客

Macarons(是我吃過最好的一家)
---外皮脆脆,中間軟滑---
芝麻: 味很濃,宜最後食
cheddar cheese : 好好味,一陣風咁食左落肚

香滑朱古力包圍著香蕉容,
香蕉不是完全磨難的,
好有口感。

最後,吃上清甜的"迷你生果"作結尾。

差不多每一次由天星碼頭漫步往交易廣場時, 最後一站也離不開 LGB 的摩掌,今天不想吃太多, 就買一件回家解解渴吧。服務員的態度還不錯吧, 買一件也沒有給面色看呢 ~這個Opera 還不是首次吃, 賣相固然是有它的吸力, 層層色彩分明, 味道亦如是, 無論咖啡味, 朱古力味, 綠茶味也非常融合討好。忌廉也層也蠻滑溜的, 這Opera 暫時是最得我心的。

喜歡LGB,是因為它的高茶造得出色,它的macaron讓人懷念着在巴黎的美好時光,在重遊舊地前,就先來這裡重溫惜日的味道吧! 熱燙的scone,外層酥脆味美,内裡卻是濕潤非常,質感軟綿,撲鼻且濃厚的牛油味實在令人回味.麵包脆口但不算乾硬,咸香的巴馬火腿和爽脆的蘆筍下,酸酸辣辣的tomato salsa十分驚喜,為canapé 加入濕潤的元素之餘,像tobasco的味道非常開胃。很喜歡LGB的macaron,鬆化薄身的外層,好像稍微用力點按下去也會把小杏餅壓至毀容,內裏卻是黏牙且煙韌的口感,加上中央冰凍細膩又豐富的ganache,真的很討好特別要推一推開心果和黑森林味,喜愛開心果中的啖啖開心果碎; 甜美古力忌廉加上充滿酒香的車厘子醬,令人滿足度爆棚!車打芝士味道特別,咸中帶甜很有趣,而經典古力味則用上70度valrhona古力,醇香濃厚的古力ganache,令人一試難忘。另外,LGB的macaron個子比lafayet、roll,la maison du chocolat等的出品要大,對師奶仔的我來說,感覺格外抵食。不能小看的迷你檸檬loaf cake,濕潤鬆軟不過甜,平凡得精彩。芝士撻

至於這款Earl grey 蛋糕則可以不試,伯爵茶味淡,中央的青蘋果大概被糖水煮過,不爽脆之餘味道與蛋糕也不太搭,慕絲質感像魚膠重手了似的古力味海綿蛋糕亦未見出色,古力味欠奉,唯一可取是鬆軟非常,不試也擺。

不得不提這裡的熱古力濃濃的古力味,甜度低,為高茶畫上了完美句號。

第1次試呢間既macaroon,雖然我都系覺得four season好食d,但呢間個經理,真系好好人;當我地買緊盒裝8件果陣;我地系到簡要咩味..佢見到呢粒冇左星星又請我地食,戈粒爛左話賣5出..又請我食$120換到10粒macaroon,真系好抵簡左8種味...有朱古力,rose,黑森林,草莓,香蕉等環境方而可以坐低飲反杯COFFE食件餅;總有TABLE FOR 2既HIGH TEA!下次要試試^_^服務態度相當良好..呢樣野要讚下而且MARACOON總有其他兩個BOX SET,送比人OR自己食都可以;)而且可以簡唔同味...真系好好又唔會SET定有咩味簡~~去相總括黎講我覺得香蕉朱古力系最好味...下次要再試下

Today I went there with my family and a baby boy, I called and reserved the table and they said no high chair offered and no guarantee that we can sit inside!! When we arrived, they offered me sit outside which is very windy , and i asked if we can sit inside if someone left!! The waitress there was all ignoring you and no menu was offered over 10 minutes sitting in a windy seat! After , I saw someone left and then I ordered a high tea set for 2, we wait wait and 10 min after , they said they

When we arrived, they offered me sit outside which is very windy , and i asked if we can sit inside if someone left!! The waitress there was all ignoring you and no menu was offered over 10 minutes sitting in a windy seat! After , I saw someone left and then I ordered a high tea set for 2, we wait wait and 10 min after , they said they cant offer me that seat ! How can they charge ppl $200 a tea set per person giving such bad services is really ridiculous,! Yhe environment is bad, waitress is impolite FILO and bad faces towards you? I left and thinking if we pay $400 for tea, why bother take this bad services? I really upset about the environment and staffs, honestly for this price you can go mandarin and four season hotel for excellent services and food! Even Roubouchon in landmark is very good too! I m sure this place won't stay long if they still not improve their service quality and staffs!!

Hi all!

Alright. I'm a French person living in HK, and I have to admit: I really miss the French pastries I used to have in France. Really, this is something I can very rarely find here in HK. Many shops sell similar things that do look good, but they are either not sweet enough or not made the right way.
On saturday night, I literally dreamt that I was at a French bakery with my friends on saturday night, eating my delicious favorite pastries and drinking awesome coffee. So, what did I do on Sunday afternoon
My dear boyfriend and I went to Le Gouter Bernardaud, that I found on google (top 5 French patisseries in HK, by the AsiaTatler magazine, not too bad
).
When you arrive, the little "Salon" style bakery looks very nice and all the desserts look really attractive and tasty. Line up is not too long, and everyone is having this big tea set (too big for too people but nice).
I just tried the pastries of course!
So, I chose my favourite French desserts: Strawberry tart, lemon tart and Chocolate tart (3 classic desserts).
- The best one was the lemon tart, really delicious and tasty: Sweetness was perfect, tart was crunchy the way it should be (many so called "French bakeries" here do not get this right), and it was quite light. Really nice, like a gourmet tart in France so I strongly recommend this one.
- The chocolate tart would be ranked second in my little selection: The crunchiness was very good, taste was nice and you could feel the strong chocolate taste.
- The strawberry tart is third in my opinion: The tart was still crunchy and tasty, strawberries were nice, the "jelly" on the strawberries was good as well (there is always a little jelly on the strawberries to add some sweet flavouring), but the cream under the fruits was not made the right way. I guess I sound picky, because the overall tasted really nice and was good. The cream was strawberry flavoured. Normally it should be plain cream with vanilla flavour only, which adds a different taste.
But, once again: the overall taste was really good.

I didn't try the macarons, so I cannot comment about that.
But if you guys are looking for good French pastries, this is the place to try

Oh, I almost forgot: The have great espresso (don't worry, it's always small) and very good hot chocolate with real strong chocolate (Valhona, or Italian good chocolate).

Enjoy a taste of France!
