Tucked in an unassuming corner of bustling Causeway Bay, this delightful and cozy private kitchen totally exceeded our expectations. We got the $198 lunch set offered as part of Restaurant Week. The bread basket was so good that we asked for a refill and was rewarded with freshly baked and buttered bread from the oven. The lobster bisque and leek & potato soup were both very tasty.
For the entrees, we had the Black Angus Tenderloin which was done to perfection and comes in two portions suitable for sharing. We also got the braised beef shank which was tender and full of aroma. We finished off with their signature banana roti topped with cold mango sauce. They offer 8 choices for French tea and we highly recommend that you pick the Bali tea which has hints of lychee in it.
The servers were very polite and pleasant, and they constantly checked to make sure we were happy with everything.
From the whimsical and original décor to the attention placed on the food and service, you can tell that this is a place run with heart and passion that is worth several repeat visits.
