I frequently visit this restaurant simply before of the food quality, the environment as well as the price. All combined is unbeatable. This a place when I go on my own, for a quick lunch or with colleagues. Today I ordered this sabu sabu pot. The soup base is a little sweet. Today I ordered this sabu sabu pot. The soup base is a little sweet. The sweetness is kind of the feature of sabu sabu meal. 
Usually, it's just like hotpot, you put raw meat and veggie in it  and let it cook. However, it probably because of the ongoing virus outbreak, the sabu sabu food came out cooked already. It's very thoughtful to prevent the spread of gem by cooking all food thoroughly.

The US beef is finely sliced. very juicy and they did it just right. The pot includes, mushroom, sprouts veggie,  some japanese Cellophane (Vermicelli like nooodles), cabbage and carrots.

The combo includes, bowl of rice, salad, soup, japanese pickles. Its a good deal that can't go wrong.

My friend ordered a bento and we shared the sabu sabu and the bento. 
The bento includes tempura shrimps, grilled eel, fried hush brown, a few sashimi, egg curd & grilled fish. 
Its a good choice to people who cant decide what to eat. Very taste and nutritious. I enjoyed the variety of food as well.

突然想食日本嘢,所以行咗去千両。午市套餐都有不少選擇。但見今日餓餓地,就點個 有飯有烏冬有薯餅,重有鯖魚,炸物 的豐盛點的套餐。炸物分別有1件炸雜菜和天婦羅蝦,很香脆可口,味道也不錯,蝦肉也彈牙。另有一開二的薯餅,香脆棉棉的,咸中帶甜 味道不差,也相當飽肚。小鰻魚飯有三塊鰻魚,魚肉入口即溶,醬汁也佳。小碗的清湯烏東有兩片豚肉,端上時還未熟透。放多一陣剛剛給熱湯煮熟,挺 嫩滑。烏東也相當彈牙滑溜。最後還有一塊燒鯖魚,肉質紮實,帶汁。整體也相當不錯。

突然想食日本嘢,所以行咗去千両。

最後還有一塊燒鯖魚,肉質紮實,帶汁。
整體也相當不錯。

I would come to this Sen-ryo every once in awhile. Unlike the other sen-ryo. This shop is not crowded at all. I can always get a seat without having needed to wait in the queue. I like the Japanese Bento, you can have almost all Japanese cuisines in just a little box. The variety and freshness of the food always surprised my guests. This time of the year, they offer shabu-shabu (wagyu beef) which is really nice. The soup is surprisely good too. This time of the year, they offer shabu-shabu (wagyu beef) which is really nice. The soup is surprisely good too. It was not the regular miso soup. It was shrimp soup. I am sure shrimp shell was addded so that the taste was lifted and highlighed. Overall, its a must try.

🦀日本松葉蟹迷你壽司飯($60/1)細細碗望落好靚好精緻,但係材料豐富,鋪滿了日本鱈場蟹蟹肉、蟹碎、蟹膏、黑魚子,非常新鮮,又有蟹肉既甜味😋。千両特盛壽司拼盤 二人用($360)壽司都係上盛的,性價比很高,包括有 赤身、三文魚、玉子、油甘魚、左口魚邊、牡丹蝦、帆立貝、三文魚子、蔥吞拿魚、中拖羅,吃完這十件壽司之後都已經感覺到很飽肚🤰🏼。蝶魚西京燒($68)非常喜歡西京燒這個煮法,惹味香口😋,蝶魚非常嫩滑,油分足夠。牛肉豆腐鍋($88)有肥牛、豆腐、香菇、粉條,湯底牛味香濃😊。

壽司都係上盛的,性價比很高,包括有 赤身、三文魚、玉子、油甘魚、左口魚邊、牡丹蝦、帆立貝、三文魚子、蔥吞拿魚、中拖羅,吃完這十件壽司之後都已經感覺到很飽肚🤰🏼。

放lunch打算去食吓好嘢,就嚟咗銅鑼灣嘅千兩,一入到去入邊唔係好大,都冇咩地方可以坐,坐咗喺吧枱。感覺唔算特別乾淨,有少少油嘅感覺。由於都幾多人下,坐得都有啲迫,唔知點解我個位冇定食嘅餐牌,所以我就唔知有得揀,叫咗主餐牌嘅嘢食定食好似抵啲又平啲!咁我就叫咗一個10件嘅壽司拼盤,$198。講真,啲壽司真係幾好食,係啲魚生上邊仲加咗啲配料同醬汁,錦上添花。相反如果嗌定食嗰啲壽司就只會係單純一件壽司。同埋坐吧枱會見到前面嘅師傅喺度逐件逐件整其實10件壽司都已經夠飽,我再叫咗個燒番薯,$18。蕃薯比我想像中軟身,正常,不過只係基本。最後仲叫咗個燒秋葵,第一啖食落口覺得鹽味太多,不過食食下都幾好食,但係其實本身秋葵就好食,所以唔關佢煮得好唔好事不過佢燒完之後唔太乾身,外皮都唔會好脆。順帶一提,啲侍應其實都OK有禮貌,但係我都係咩住個背囊去,然後冇位俾我擺,被逼要將背囊放喺地下。點知到我臨走嗰陣,我竟然聽到個侍應主動Offer比隔離個女仔一個盒俾佢放手袋令我感覺有啲差。。。。

記得佢啱啱開嘅時候,幫襯過佢哋,雖然係有啲貴,但係食物質素係非常之高嘅。最近有朋友喺外國返嚟,想食日本野於是同佢去啦。結果就覺得佢水準下降啦。大家喺圖片度都見到唔係粒粒都咁靚。尤其是最左邊好似劍魚壽司嗰舊嘢,直頭就有筋㗎。但係吞拿魚啊、油甘魚同埋個蝦呢。新鮮程度係可以接受嘅。不過呢度記住唔係元氣,係千両,走高檔路線嘅要求自然係高啦。因為價錢都高呀嘛。蔬菜類方面,有嗌左牛油什菌、麵使青瓜同埋蕃茄沙律,冇乜驚喜。不過不失。我覺得比起佢初初開嘅時候呢,嘅水準係下降左。唔知會唔會下次有機會再嚟嘅時候水準會提升返啲?因為呢一餐兩個人食,係食咗$600-700。但係一啲都唔覺得好好味所以有啲失望。

粵菜以外,我最喜歡吃日本菜,今次想吃壽司,就拉了同事去千両吃午餐,本來想去希禛廣場千両的,但裝修暫時關店 (6月份的事,7月已經從開),就到名店坊千両。電話訂座,接電話的店員說,只接受會員 (我不是!)訂座,而且是提前1天 (不接受當天訂座),那我們只能 walk in 試試!差不多12:30到店,有位,不錯!我點了萬両定食,同事點了百両定食,2個午餐連加一共計210元,算平的!萬両定食是雜錦壽司併盤,6件手握壽司、2件軍艦壽司、炸蝦卷,配野菜沙律和味噌湯,午餐吃算豐富!百両定食,5件壽司、炸蝦天婦羅、湯烏冬,也配野菜沙律,連加一都不到100,抵食!

百両定食,5件壽司、炸蝦天婦羅、湯烏冬,也配野菜沙律,連加一都不到100,抵食!

千両有幾好味就唔駛多講,我估好多人都會知!但我去千両,除咗會食美味壽司、刺身、熟食外,仲有一樣野係必點嘅...就係綠茶糯米糍啦!佢係用Haagen dazs嘅綠茶雪糕架,綠茶味非常香濃!而最重要係佢塊糯米皮,非常煙韌,而又唔甜,配合埋個綠茶雪糕,簡直就係perfect match呀!而且千両仲好體貼,用嚟裝糯米糍隻碟都預先雪凍咗架,咁啲雪糕就冇溶得咁快啦!成日都覺得好味嘅甜品會為一頓晚餐有一個美好嘅結局,呢個綠茶糯米糍絶對可以令我有個perfect and happy day!

We ordered this Deluxe Sashimi Platter to try. The giant prawns were super fresh and huge! They were so crispy and meaty. But the heads were lack of fresh prawn yellow flavour. The scallops were also fresh and meaty. Other sashimi were not so pleasing: the octopus was not crispy at all; the toro had tendons so didn't melt in my mouth; nothing special with tuna, salmon and 鰹魚 but they were all thick cut. Given the price, it was only ok.

The other sushi we ordered was Deluxe Sea Eel, which was freshly grilled with eel sauce served on the side. There were loads of small bones but edible even for kids. It was delicious but a bit too thin.

The Dragon Rolls came with eel sauce on the side. They were so huge with loads of raw veggies but just some eel.

Seared Wagyu with Sakura Shrimp Roll seemed pretty appealing. However, there was nothing special with the seared Wagyu on top, which was claimed to be from Japan. The crispy texture of loads of sakura shrimp stuffings was interesting though. But given the so-so seared Wagyu on top, it was not really worth the price.

It was so interesting to see these spring rolls at a Japanese restaurant. These Tempura Shrimp Ricepaper Spring Roll with Mango Sauce was pretty good. There were freshly deep fried and crispy tempura shrimps which were meaty too. There were loads of veggies and the ricepaper was very thin. The mango sauce was very appetising. Highly recommended indeed.

This Grilled Chicken Thigh in Charcoal Style Sauce was the best dish of the meal! They claimed that the chicken was from Japan which should be true as the chicken was so tender and juicy. They were cooked so well, obviously charcoal grilled which made them smell so good. I felt that my throat started to get sore after eating. The skin was so crispy that even I who never eat chicken skin finished all. There were 6 pieces altogether. Good dish indeed. Some yuzu pepper on the side to eat with the chicken. By the way, it could have been even better if they were less salty.

The Beef Pot with Tofu was a lot worse than last time we first tried it at Hysan Place. The quality of the beef was just so so. The soup was very plain just with beef fat. The quality of the tofu was good though, even me who never liked tofu ate a few pieces. There was no big yummy mushrooms like last time. The transparent noodles were nice though.

This Hiroshima Oyster & Veggies Hot Pot with Miso was even worse. There were just three oysters with 2 big and 1 small. The quality was just so so. The miso soup was ok but not particularly good, seemingly free of MSG though. The veggies were just average.

Overall I would say that the quality of the food varied quite a lot, with some really good items like the appetiser and grilled dish but some were really disappointing like the hot pots. The sushi and sashimi seemed to be standard but the good thing was that there were quite a number of creative dishes and rolls not easily found elsewhere. That said, prices were of course not cheap. Service was pretty good though from all the servers I had come across. An ok place to go but not somewhere I would go back from time to time.

午餐時段想在銅鑼灣選一間不用等位的餐廳有點難度,經過千両難得不用等位,就進去食。但是一進去看了一下餐牌,set lunch好像沒有東西想吃,但是走又有些尷尬,所以唯有點了刺身丼飯。刺身每樣有兩片,大蝦刺身最新鮮好味,其他剌身就一般般,尤其是帶子刺身,一粒粒小小的,完全沒有味道,切到size有點奇怪。吃完整體有點失望。

CWB呢間千両食左幾年, 一路都KEEP到有水準, 佢既Lunch set非常抵食.每一樣食物都非常精緻, 前菜沙律非常清新, 車厘茄不會太酸. 刺身非常新鮮. 有三文魚同甜蝦.  壽司用的米都係用靚米.鰻魚肉厚, 汁夠多, 仲有小小蛋絲, 味道同賣想都好好.天婦羅夠脆, 不過無跟天婦羅汁, 要問服務員拎先有成個SET連加1都係$150左右, 食得出係有誠意整出黎, 唔係求其行貨.男仔食都夠晒飽+ 好味道. 仲要係Times square咁旺既地方, 絕對抵食 另外服務員既服務都好好
