Birthday dinner in the private room. My friends like to come here for the signature 糯米釀脆皮乳豬 and 黑胡椒焗蟹.Since I don’t like crab, and can’t take spicy I can’t comment on the latter. (But they said tasted the same as the yummy ones they tried in Singapore).乳豬 however, I liked. Skin was crunchy and not oily. Went perfectly with the soft 糯米. 油浸筍殼魚 I loved. Crispy and meaty. Sauce tasted so good I wanted to order a bowl of rice to go with it.
The 檳城炒河粉 was a nice surprise too- a bit too spicy for me but the prawns were big and juicy; texture of 河粉 was very 煙韌。
炸子雞 was ok.
長壽麵 with mushrooms for the bday girl. Yummy.
For appetizers we had: char Siu, 豬腳仔 and 白灼鮮豬膶.
I’m not a fan of organs so can’t comment, but my friends liked it.
Birthday buns for dessert.
In summary: wd def come back for the 乳豬, but prob in a group.
