I couldnt even remember my last visit to Satay King...maybe during high school? My friend suggested to go for a quick afternoon tea, we just went in. Menu definitely way more options than from my memory. Literally everything you could think of. Japanese fusion, Indian fusion, Hong Kong style etc. Pretty economical. Beef shoulder blade noodle in Satay soup was decent. It was generous than I expected after mixing the noodle with the toppings. Noodle was soft and well coated with the satay soup. It

Beef shoulder blade noodle in Satay soup was decent. It was generous than I expected after mixing the noodle with the toppings. Noodle was soft and well coated with the satay soup. It wasn't spicy just spiced up. Love the savoury. Beef slices were thin and tender. Only few bites were very chewy which I split it out. Love the white sesame sprinkled on top which gave so much nuttiness and crunch.
White curry lemongrass pork chop noodle was in enormous portion. Two big thick deep fried pork chop were served. Tender and moist. Not much lemongrass flavour. White curry was smooth and flavourful. Not heavy at all. The dish was okay.
Homemade siu mai was smaller than I thought it would be. Even smaller than a bite size, but considering the price, I guess it was acceptable. Chilli oil was so flavourful as they deepfried the chilli flakes and not oily at all. Wish to be spicier.
Deep fried tofu was definitely as delicious as you think it can be. No disappointment at all. Crispy natter with silky tofu. Watch out with the explosion of steam. Not bad!
More food variety than I could recall back in the old days. Staff were pretty nice and helpful.
