食咗泰昌餅家嘅蛋撻已經有好多年,今日特登寫篇食評讚一讚佢個新鮮出爐牛油皮蛋撻。屋企人喺街市買完餸經過泰昌餅家,見到啱啱有新鮮出爐嘅蛋撻,就買咗四個返屋企一齊食。個人口味方面,自己鍾意食牛油皮多個酥皮蛋撻。蛋撻熱辣辣熱到辣手,牛油皮好脆好香,個餡雖然就唔係好有蛋香味,不過勝在唔會死甜。平時如果買到唔係新鮮出爐嘅話,其實同一般普通餅店嘅蛋撻一樣,所以要睇下你好唔好彩,遇着佢啱啱出爐嘅時間去買新鮮蛋撻喇。

Tai Cheong Bakery is just a bakery known for egg tarts and their Japanese inspired cheesecakes.All of their shops are just bakeries but a few serve simple cha chaan teng style food.This branch along with the one at TKO serves simple dishes like fried egg with rice, sandwiches etc.Went here and had the fried egg with luncheon meat with curry sauce.When it came they forgot to give the curry sauce so requested for it.The curry sauce is evidently microwaved as the bowl is scorching  and the surface

When it came they forgot to give the curry sauce so requested for it.

The curry sauce is evidently microwaved as the bowl is scorching  and the surface of the curry sauce has fine bubbles and and a solid layer.

What took the piss was the luncheon meat, the menu says THICKLY SLICED and how thick was it???!!!!

Apart from that, it was all delicious.
The lady suggested that curry sauce does not go well with it but it tasted much better than the thick saliva sweet soy sauce that was given.
Will be back if I am in the area again or possibly try the other restaurant branches.

屋企冇飯開, 又唔想出街, 是但去咗屋企附近嘅泰昌開餐。 泰昌我見來講都係買麵包、蛋撻等等。 但屋企附近呢間係有麵餐、飯餐等等。 叫咗一個常餐, 有鮑魚火腿絲米粉另加札肉,配半塊厚多士, 炒蛋,凍檸茶少甜。 份量好多,蛋嘅味道就怪怪地, 多士就好正(始終佢都係買麵包嘅)。 成個餐,只係買$29 ,凍飲加兩蚊, 呢個價錢, 對比起附近一間連鎖式嘅茶餐廳,平$10有多。 無論份量,價錢,同埋質素都比嗰種連鎖式嘅茶餐廳好好多,絕對係一個唔錯嘅選擇!

今日去完飲茶,一落樓下就有泰昌 😍點可以唔走入去買番個蛋撻呢 😆😍😋~牛油皮蛋撻 $7 💖其實佢有酥皮同牛油皮,不過我由細到大都比較鍾情於牛油皮 😆所以毫不猶豫就買左牛油皮 😝7蚊一個蛋撻對比起其他餅鋪有d貴🤔但食落蛋漿夠滑,蛋味濃👍牛油撻底夠香脆🤓雖然唔係新鮮出爐但仍然keep 住暖暖地 🙄而且撻皮唔會太厚,岩岩好 👍😄行過不妨買番個黎食

經外賣APP 叫左6個酥皮蛋撻,半個鐘送到上黎,滿心期待打開個盒,點知入面油冧冧仲有4個不似酥皮嘅所謂酥皮蛋撻,而當中仲2個唔知焗左幾耐,啲蛋同個撻皮離哂邊中間個撻芯又凹嘅蛋撻!絕對焗好超過3小時以上,原全垃圾過垃圾!真心非常失望!叫外賣送啲垃圾上黎!打去佢客戶服務佢叫我自己聯絡外賣APP,有冇腦?而家係你地啲蛋撻品質有問題,關人地外送服務咩事?大家真心要叫佢嘅外賣真係要考慮清楚先好叫,費事上到黎激氣!

Tai Cheong Bakery is OLD SCHOOL and BORING.Although they do occasionally have some fun stuff like giant egg tarts which are actually cheese cakes.Tourists flock there for Egg Tarts on Lynhurst Terrace.I really do not understand why the HK style flakey pastry egg tarts in Hong Kong are so floppy that it guarantees it collapsing in your hand and falling to the floor! Hooray!!Anyway, walked past and discovered they had cold brew teas so got the peach oolong as the Jasmine was sold out.It was actual

It was actually quite nice and not sweetened with a lovely oolong aroma and a hint of peach.
