Upon arriving right at 9pm I requested a beer at happy hour pricing and was told by the waiter that he wasn't able as happy hour had ended. Went here on a busy night, arrived a little later than we meant to at 9pm and had to sit at the bar since all the tables were full. That was kind of fine since there was only two of us anyway. 不說不知，原來Cinco de Mayo (西班牙文，即五月五日)是墨西哥的大日子，當地以致美國部份地方也會慶祝，似乎仲勁過香港國慶。筆者有幸，得到灣仔的墨西哥餐廳Agave的邀請，率先體驗一下為Cinco de Mayo的主題而設的Buffet。呢個Buffet實在太過抵食，$198，真係去邊都搵唔到。看看那Buffet Counter，擺放著不少tortilla的配料，如青瓜、生菜絲、青檸、蘿蔔片及蕃茄莎莎等，就是搞這個已經十分過癮。我寫得出來介紹的Buffet當然唔係得咁少嘢啦！如果係既話，相信好快會俾人插死。還有一系列的肉類，譬如說Marinated Pork，不辣，亦沒有太乾，吃起來香口又入味，吃了不少的。至於雞肉，是稍為刺激一點的，同埋香料味幾重，我個人挺喜歡，但就吃得同桌的朋友大呼勁辣；另外亦有炸魚，同樣沒有炸得過火，屬外脆裡頭仍然嫩滑的感覺。還有Chili Con Carne，當然就是辣的，辣汁很惹味，跟牛肉絲的味道亦十分之夾，愈食愈開胃，是令人停不了口的辣東西。仲有一款以石鍋上的Prawn Molcajetes，熱呼呼的，味道帶點酸辣，是酸味多於辣，加上蝦肉本身爽口，

每個國家都有關自已獨特的節日，有些我們未必聽過，但對當地人來說可能是一個非常重要的節慶。是晚得到餐廳公關方面的邀請，來到這裡率先試試為慶祝墨西哥傳統節日Cinco de Mayo而設的晚市自助餐。Cinco de Mayo亦稱作五月五日節，是慶祝墨西哥打勝仗的節日，時至今日，在墨西哥和美國都會有慶祝活動，如果不是得到邀請，還真的不知道有這麼的一個節日呢。這間墨西哥餐廳在灣仔區已經開業多年，有時經過附近也會留意到，經常座無虛席，客人都是以外國人為主。餐廳充滿墨西哥風情，裝潢顏色繽紛，又伴随著輕鬆愉快的異國音樂，燈光昏暗但有燭光搖曳，甚有氣氛。自助餐的食物選擇雖然不算很多，可是每一款都是頗有特色，全部試一點都肯定會吃很飽。首先不得不介紹的是tortillas，這是墨西哥人的主食，類似印度薄餅，最常的吃法是包著各類餡料，其實我覺得它和kebab也有點類似。Tortilla會使用兩種不同的原料去做，使用小麥製成的薄餅稱之為麵粉薄餅flour tortilla，使用玉米製成的則稱為玉米餅corn tortilla，兩款也可以試得到。自助餐檯上有十多款不同的醬汁和配料，可以自由配搭，拼湊出自己最喜
