🍝kimchi udon - 在沒有把蟹肉拌勻在面里之前嘗了一口感覺還行 拌勻了之後發現蟹肉不僅沒有增加他的口感 甚至大大的扣分 蟹肉非常的不新鮮 口感上也完全感覺不到在吃蟹肉感覺在吃又硬又柴的沒剃乾淨的蟹肉殼 裡面還放了米通 口感上就更像在吃殼了… 醬汁方面也沒什麼驚艷的 泡菜和奶油濃厚的口感和味道把所有應該有的香味都蓋住了 吃了幾口就很膩

🥟prawn gyoza - 蝦不彈牙 還很硬 餃子搭配的醋調的也很垃圾 連本來很喜歡吃醋的朋友都說接受不了這個故意想讓它酸而加進去的超級酸的醋 完全沒有提升他的口感

外形同味道有啲似大板燒嘅日式烏冬 整體偏重口味😋
食得出有蛋黃醬同豉油 酸酸甜甜咁好惹味
份量都幾多 食到最後同朋友都有啲飽所以打包了🙈

It’s business dinner tonight, booked via OpenRice free sake! What a blessed !We didn’t know what to order so we picked the omakase dinner set options, we have 5 people in total and I think this is such a good choice because everyone get to try more variety of food in a small portions. Portion is rather small but we get to try lots of different food, so we still feel full and satisfied after. They serve 9 different food during the omakase as you can see from the pics, except the caramelized butte

Portion is rather small but we get to try lots of different food, so we still feel full and satisfied after.


They serve 9 different food during the omakase as you can see from the pics, except the caramelized
butter 🌽 corn, it was an add on order and highlight of the night ! The corn is super yummy and must order!


Also maybe the fried chicken , crab taco , kimchi udon and spinach!
Cant wait to come back to try their signature beef sando next time



The environment is rather packed and music very noisy, not good place if you want a place to chat but the food is delicious

坊間好多靠環境同地段加垃圾食物就可以打響名堂,令食客乖乖比錢之餘仲要唔敢批評嘅餐廳,Fukuro應該係呢類餐廳嘅龍頭大佬.


今日用到嘅食材包括:cheap cheap魚生,菠菜,現成芝麻醬,粟米,蛋沙律,生牛肉,烏冬,泡菜,罐頭蟹肉. 埋單每個人$9xx.


而基本上咁蟹道菜都係以極之簡單嘅煮法或者撈法或者砌法黎做,我相信有煮開飯嘅人一定會識整.


然後餐廳標榜嘅居酒屋氣氛,應該只有員工不斷大叫welcome to fukuro呢一part係比較接近. 因為佢上菜速度快過McDonald,好等佢上齊啲菜就隊埋張單比你埋,成餐食左一個鐘多啲. 好似發左一場夢咁. 你想好似居酒屋食客咁吹下水熱鬧下嘅話,呢間扮「居酒屋」嘅低質「日式餐廳」就幫唔到你.

wagyu sandowas really looking forward to this but I wished the wagyu was more flavourful; the sweet & savoury sauce was nice but it was slightly overpowering.crispy caramel butter cornreally enjoyed the flavours and textures of this caramel butter corn! it was crispy and sweet - definitely a great starter/snack.unagi kamameshi hot pot ricethe unagi was delish and the rice was flavourful and perfectly cooked. love the slight charred bits at the bottom of the hot pot and this was certainly super c

unagi kamameshi hot pot rice
the unagi was delish and the rice was flavourful and perfectly cooked. love the slight charred bits at the bottom of the hot pot and this was certainly super comforting!

這裡的服務大致上也很好,主要服務我們的待應都非常友善,也很詳細介紹這裡的菜式!知道朋友是為我慶祝生日的緣故,又唱生日歌,又有破惡運的儀式,最後還送上即影即有和清酒(可惜我們都不喝酒,淺嚐一口還是覺得藥水更好喝🤫),充滿心思和氣氛💕

美中不足的就是有一位皮膚較深的壯男外藉員工比較欠缺耐性,可能我們理解能力較差,多問幾句佢就話好frustrating( ー̀дー́)!!!勸大家要小心請求他的幫忙.. 除此之外,整個用餐體驗都很好🫶🏻食材高質,配搭和烹調都很出色,我們都因為太好吃不發一言,埋頭努力吃ꉂ(˃▿˂๑) 預早訂台的我們幸運地坐了卡位也很寬敞舒適,有機會一定會再訪!

前菜有油甘魚和三文魚刺身,其中一款加了海苔碎,鮮味更突出。酒煮碎蜆用梅酒醃了多個小時,酒味入哂蜆肉,加了七味粉更惹味。

店內必點的signature香脆焦糖牛油粟米,外面有層脆脆的焦糖,加上牛油煮過的粟米非常邪惡但又忍不住想食, 只是焦糖較甜及牛油汁較油膩。

火焰帶子即場在面前燒煮,帶子的熟度可以根據自己的喜好而選擇,配搭的香蠔牛油汁惹味又濃郁。南蠻耶菜花天婦羅味道較淡,炸粉較多,有點膩滯,點上酸酸辣辣嘅南蠻醬汁無咁單調亦可解解膩。

另一signature Kimchi Udon好多蟹肉,udon彈牙,但醬汁俾泡菜陣酸味蓋過嗰陣香辣味,無我預期般好食。甜品我另外單點了monaka ice cream,士多啤梨醬配上醬油雪糕,配搭幾特別,但食落又普普通通。

可能太大期望,整體黎講沒有預期般好食,感覺中規中矩。但店內氣氛及服務良好,可以一試。

With dim lighting and strong music, the whole ambience is more towards the Western-style bar. There are some booth seats but those are reserved for groups of four. We are assigned to sit on the counter, on the side, so not exactly seeing much in action.

The staff is helpful in introducing the menu, recommending us to pick 6-7 dishes for sharing. Obviously, I also choose a sake to go with the food, opting for Harada Gengetsu Junmai Ginjo Muroka ($458 for carafe).

In no time we are served the first course. The Drunken Clams ($148) have been marinated with umeshu, or plum wine, and then sprinkled with some shichimi salt on top. The sweetness of the plum wine reinforced the umami taste of the clams, and the light spicy note from the shichimi is appealing too. I also like the pieces of shiso which bring in a nice fragrance.

Next is the raw dish, with the Kingfish Sashimi ($158) very fresh and tasty, having a good portion with 6 thick slices. The soy sauce is a special seaweed version to enhance the umami notes of the buri. I also like the restaurant serving it on ice to keep the sashimi cold, as here customers might not be eating them straight away.

The Crispy Caramel Butter Corn ($128) is our favourite dish in the evening. The corn itself is tender and sweet, with a crispy, thin batter on the outside after deep-frying. The chef also brushes them with caramel butter to enhance the flavours, sprinkled with some aonori seaweed too on the surface.

The Grilled Scallops ($168) is presented theatrically, with the chef lighting up flames underneath the shell, cooking the scallops with a rich and tasty oyster butter, with some parsley paste. It is not my pick as the flavours of the sauce completely dominated the scallops, rendering them tasteless, and making me wonder about the quality of the scallops.

Fortunately, the Crab Tart ($88) helps to rescue some marks. On top of the crunchy gyoza skin is a thin layer of crab meat, quite nicely seasoned. On the menu it shows there are pakuchi, or coriander, but I am not sure the garnishes on top are those. Nevertheless, still quite tasty.

The Prawn Tempura ($158) has five large prawns, with the chef added some seaweed in the batter before deep-frying. The tempura coating is not thick and there is no oily feeling in eating them. Quite nicely done. The dipping sauce is a bit of a let-down though, as I would prefer the traditional version with better flavours.

Coming towards the end we have the Kimchi Udon ($268), with the udon having a nice texture, and cooked with a uni miso and kimchi. On top there are some snow crab meats which are quite sweet in taste. A fulfilling dish to finish the meal so that we do not feel hungry.

For dessert we pick Monaka Ice Cream Sandwich ($68) and Hokkaido Mochi ($68). The mochi has a chewy skin wrapping a vanilla ice-cream, and in fact I prefer this than the signature monaka. While the crispy wafer is good, the strawberry puree is a bit too sweet for me.

Service is good, with the staff friendly and coming regularly to check in. But the speed of serving is really too fast and we end up finishing the whole dinner in just 45 minutes. I guess we should remind the staff to slow it down. The total bill is $1,956 and again, proving to me that in both Japan and HK, coming to an izakaya for dinner is quite expensive.

本身為左ᴡᴀɢʏᴜ sᴀɴᴅᴏ而黎,但遺憾嘅係已經賣曬了,據說每日淨係賣8份!如果想食嘅話要一開門就到~另外,ғᴜᴋᴜʀᴏ份量精緻,我同朋友好細食都覺得意猶未盡,如果同男朋友或者一班男仔黎食嘅話,要做好準備銀包大出血ᴏʀ唔夠飽╭(°ᴀ°`)╮

Which dish comes to your mind when someone mentions Fukuro? Most people would say it’s their crispy caramel corn, but personally their kimchi udon is something you don’t wanna miss as well!The kimchi udon dish was full of umami flavors - the creamy uni miso sauce was well balanced by the acidity and spiciness of the kimchi (slurp slurp👅!!), and lastly topped with a generous amount of snow crab meat🦀I also liked their salmon aburi. Which dish comes to your mind when someone mentions Fukuro?


Most people would say it’s their crispy caramel corn, but personally their kimchi udon is something you don’t wanna miss as well!


The kimchi udon dish was full of umami flavors - the creamy uni miso sauce was well balanced by the acidity and spiciness of the kimchi (slurp slurp👅!!), and lastly topped with a generous amount of snow crab meat🦀


I also liked their salmon aburi. The salmon was lightly seared on the surface, layered by a slice of grilled cheddar cheese, pickle and deep fried onion on top with some wasabi yogurt on the side. The only complaint I had was the portion as they only had 4 pieces of fish😭🫶🏻


The sushi taco had a nice crunch to it as they used deep fried gyoza skin as the taco shell and the 🐟-to-🍙 portion was good as well.


Tbh I was looking forward to their crispy caramel corn but it was not up to par that day🤧 It was overly sweet and buttery as you can see from the pic the caramel was dripping as I lifted it up. We couldn’t finish it cos it was too overpowering and filling (I checked their most recent reviews and pics of the corn and they looked so much better than the one I had back then!)


We ended our meal with their one and only dessert on the menu - Monaka ice cream sandwich. Loved the sweet and sour flavor from the Rasberry jam and seaweed ice cream. Trust me, you won’t disappointed!😍🍦


Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner and I would come back again. Our server was very friendly and welcoming, also knowledgeable when we asked for sake recommendations. We ordered a small bottle of sake and it paired so well with our food!
