The other day I had visited here with couple of friends. It’s not a huge restaurant though, it’s still cozy and spacious inside. I adore its design with the soft white color wall and elegant lamps. It takes a little bit long to wait for the dishes coming though, it is no doubted to comment that the quality of food is remarkably splendid! It takes a little bit long to wait for the dishes coming though, it is no doubted to comment that the quality of food is remarkably splendid!
A little remark for the appetizer, it’s just the combination of soup+garlic bread+salad green though, the presentation of them is quite delicate, which presents like a dish of main course ~

The dish of fish fillet on lemon sauce is really amazing! Well, I like it’s a bit burnt that it taste a bit crispy of its skin! Together with the refreshing lemon sauce, just too harmony in taste~

The dish of spring chicken with ‘Angel’s Hair Spaghetti’ took a bit longer to wait though, it’s still worthy. I like the Angel’s Hair Spaghetti here, very soft and thin in food texture! The roasted spring chicken tasted very juicy and soft! The proportion is huge! It’s a big dish!!!

The beef tenderloin with Angel’s Hair Spaghetti is nice too (omg, it seems like I’m only making compliment towards this restaurant). It’s very thoughtful of Henry’s Kitchen that the tenderloin is well cut and prepared for customer. Focusing on the texture of the tenderloin, it’s really soft and juicy. I can’t comment more, just enjoyed it!

The price range for the set lunch is $78 – 88. For a relaxing afternoon with friends and enjoying the environment, it’s absolutely a nice choice.

為左慶祝母親大人的節日....我地全家人揀左呢間西餐廳慶祝.....(雖然母親節已經過左好耐,不過因為番工關係,無時間打...今日先打上嚟= =")因為果D餐的餐名太長,所以5記得哂-_-"....不過D野食就好好味,超正的XD好好味好滑既忌廉湯!!!沙律有好幾塊芝士,D面包粒好脆....呢個係另一款的沙律....家人點的主菜...係一種海魚(個名唔記得左-0-)...佢地話好好食,不過都幾多小骨...但我試落就無什麼的小骨XD呢個係意粉..上面有D肉卷,同埋好香醬汁...而且仲有好好食同好正既黑松露菌係裡面咧最後呢款係甜品..係芒果味的..而且好冰凍,不過要比小小力度去切一塊食..因為都比較硬身的..不過好香好重芒果味!正!!!

今晚難得可以同老公二人世界,所以老公揸車過海搵好o野食.之前朋友都介紹過呢間餐廳,話佢地既主菜同甜品都不錯,所以今晚就o黎呢到試試。而附近亦有停車場,方便我地揸車的人仕。頭盤~巴馬火腿併水牛芝士蒜蓉包,個蒜蓉包很香脆、加上巴馬火腿味道很好餐湯~龍蝦湯、蘑菇湯及兩個不同餐包(但有一個比老公食了)龍蝦湯味道濃郁、蘑菇湯有好香的黑松露香味、餐包經加熱後仍很香脆主菜~蛋黃汁煙肉白菌天使麵、豬肋骨天使麵上是半生熟雞蛋,將蛋黃同天使麵拌勻,令天使麵更幼滑、味道亦很香濃、食時有很香芝士及忌廉的香味,份量適中;而豬肋骨的醬汁味道很好、加上有少許沙津菜拌上,食完肋骨再食一點沙津菜感覺不太油膩。最後係推介的甜品~心太軟、蘋果卷心太軟–外皮不太租,夾埋內裡朱古力一齊食,剛剛好;而蘋果卷–蘋果蓉甜度適中,食時果蓉及蘇皮仍是熱熱的值得讚一下他們的服務,侍應見我們食完每一款食品,就會主動來收碟。雖然餐廳面積不太大,但不會有擠迫及局促的感覺,好適合二人世界及朋友們聚舊談天。最後,我同老公都覺得好耐都無試過咁有水準的餐廳,值得再來一次。

主菜~蛋黃汁煙肉白菌天使麵、豬肋骨

天使麵上是半生熟雞蛋,將蛋黃同天使麵拌勻,令天使麵更幼滑、味道亦很香濃、食時有很香芝士及忌廉的香味,份量適中;
而豬肋骨的醬汁味道很好、加上有少許沙津菜拌上,食完肋骨再食一點沙津菜感覺不太油膩。

值得讚一下他們的服務,侍應見我們食完每一款食品,就會主動來收碟。
雖然餐廳面積不太大,但不會有擠迫及局促的感覺,好適合二人世界及朋友們聚舊談天。

最後,我同老公都覺得好耐都無試過咁有水準的餐廳,值得再來一次。

逛完銅鑼灣,一行三人本想到天后晚膳,但走到炮台山仍沒取得共識。終於走到這間餐廳門前,看過門外的餐牌,也不多作考慮就走進去了,因爲大家實在有點餓。內裡面績不大,環境頗清靜,座位約有二十個。個人的意見,很喜歡光顧這些小本經營的店子,有些「鋤強扶弱」的心態吧!幸好不用等位,和侍應有禮的招待,一開始已令我「感覺良好」。大家都不想太傷腦筋,我們都點選了Set Dinner,共有五款選擇,價錢由一百八十至二百元不等。南瓜和忌廉的味道很配合,清甜又醒胃。火腿的油份甘香可口,只可惜少了一點。主菜一:大蝦新鮮,芝士味濃。主菜二:魚肉煎得又香又脆。主菜三:「牛面珠」煮得「好淋」,入口即溶化,伴碟的薯蓉和醬汁更是妙絕。指定甜品,味道清新。朋友很愛吃西式甜品,特意請侍應推介一兩款給朋友試試。還暖又軟的「朱古力」內心,香濃但不太甜膩。即叫即製,「香噴噴」。下次想起吃西餐,一定會再到這裏!

約左兩年, 今晚終於約到一個老朋友食晚飯. 我第一時間諗起 Henry's Kitchen, 一早打去訂位.今晚一入餐廳, 見到得我地兩個, 心諗會唔會食物質素大不如前所以場面冷清. 我俩分別order左波菜忌廉湯, 帶子蕃茄湯, 羊膝, 三文魚扒. 一試之下, 發覺食物味道依然, 仍能保持出色的水準, 特別係個羊膝, 肉質嫩滑, 而亦沒有太大的"穌"味另外仕應們的服務態度值得一贊. 雖然場面冷清, 但仍能熱心服務. 我地食完吹水睇相成個鐘, 佢地都好主動幫我地加水, 亦沒有"吹"我地走.埋單都係四百幾, 能享受咁優質既食物同埋"包場"服務, 絕對超值 (希望佢唔好做唔住, 如果唔係又少一個食好野既地方)

隔了一段日子重來,午餐有五款選擇,由$58-$72。餐湯可以,蒜蓉包香脆。燒牛肉雜菜沙律($58) :還有這款喜愛的菜式,不過牛肉有點韌,沙律很可口。德國鹹豬手($68) :鹹豬手不太鹹,肉質頗嫩也香。香橙蜜糖燒鮮鴨胸($68) :鴨胸也可以,只是調味不特出。餐後要了這裏不錯的熱奶茶。

I have recently booked this place for our high school reunion gathering dinner, the place is very elegant but cozy enough for close friends it just fitted perfect for our group size of 20 people.Dishes were great size for individual and could also be in a sharing portion, paring with great choice of house red selected by the owner. We were very pleased with the quality of food and services. ps. very good freshly baked garlic bread!!! hard to find now a days and gotta try the French Roast Pork L

Just visit there few days ago and can't wait to come again.However, left the place with a bit disappointment, probably will not visit there for a while.Dinner for 2.one lobster set with sirloin (medium)one seafood risottoone blueberry cheesecakeappearance: (4/5)they are all eye-catching, very decenttaste: lobster is good(4/5), sirloin is ok only (2/5)(probably due to the quality of the meat), risotto taste (4/5) great but the portion (1/5) is just too small, much less than the set dinner I had

appearance: (4/5)they are all eye-catching, very decent
taste: lobster is good(4/5), sirloin is ok only (2/5)(probably due to the quality of the meat), risotto taste (4/5) great but the portion (1/5) is just too small, much less than the set dinner I had few days ago! And it is a la carte, I do expect reasonable portion, it has mussels (not season and so very small and not that good taste) filled up the dish, but only few soup spoon of rice......


tiramisu: 3/5 in taste
blueberry cheesecake: taste is great, my wife said.

salad of the set: 4/5

Overall, 3/5.

This restaurant is small and cozy. It has the best risotto in town! It is a must try! Service is very friendly as well.My recommendations:Risotto --> perfect match with the truffles and mushroom. 記得上次並無提及此餐廳的服務,不過個人認為此方面以此收費來說,只屬一般 (尤其是看見服務員擔天望地不短時間,也不看看我的水杯己經宣佈旱情良久)。這方面其實上次惠顧也是一樣了。你說是茶餐廳當然是無話好說,但以這種餐廳的格局及收費來說,這種服務模式似乎就有點格格不入了。

呢個禮拜做野實在係太辛苦,難得可以準時少少食晏,所以今日決定1個人聽歌食餐飯,去呢間開左唔係好耐0既餐廳食飯。之前想去幾次都太多人,難得今日有位,決定一試。事先係有少少期待,因為之前睇過呢度0既食評唔錯,呢間餐廳睇落似走中價路線,唔似話同區普通茶餐廳咁 (同區一餐晏要60/70蚊都唔算係走平民路線)。本日SET LUNCH 有6款菜式,由沙律、咖喱、長通粉都有,選擇性都算OK 。同一般餐廳無異,都係1) 是日餐湯、2) MAIN COURSE、3)咖啡或茶。而本人就叫左墨西哥辣肉長通粉SET。湯都係紅白配,意大利菜湯同鮮菌忌薕湯,我就叫左白湯。WELL,當然有麵包啦。不過個湯+包個感覺就只係一般,因為個麵包好似有D太乾,但係個湯唔係咁夠熱,所以個湯有D 嗰種細舊CREAM (係因為煲得唔係好熱同攪得均勻) 我一向都鍾意食意粉同長通粉,就咁睇個通粉有加辣肉、紅椒同等等0既配料。個通粉整得都算係有水準,唔會煲得太林; 而且醬料份量都唔算太多,唔會有醬多粉少0既感覺。就咁睇,其他顧客叫0既MAIN COURSE 賣相都算唔錯,起碼整得好睇。但係好唔好食就要下次先知。整體黎講,個餐飯都算係中規

就咁睇,其他顧客叫0既MAIN COURSE 賣相都算唔錯,起碼整得好睇。但係好唔好食就要下次先知。

整體黎講,個餐飯都算係中規中矩;不過以呢個價錢(7十幾蚊倒)黎計,好似有些少貴囉。而且可能因為餐廳面積唔係話咁大,顧客講起野上黎都幾大聲,其實都有D嘈架。感覺上有少少似UPGRADE 左0既瓜園餐廳SET LUNCH (尤其係個湯同個包!),哈哈 !

我諗我下次會試下佢0既晚飯,期待晚飯會有HIGH 卡D 0既感覺。

本來想到天后的 3R 午膳, 但早上致電訂位時發現今天不做午市. 朋友在 OR search 到這間餐廳, 見食評不錯, 便來試一試.一時半到達. 要了一個羊架 set lunch ($108, 連 salad, soup and coffee/tea). 另叫了一個白酒蜆意粉. 湯是意大利菜湯, 味道很鮮, 不錯. 雞肉 salad 也合格, veggie 很新鮮.白酒蜆意粉 - 蜆很大隻, 也有鮮味, 數量也頗多. Linguine 煮得不錯, 不會過腍, 但不算 al dente. 意粉的酒味不強但偏辣 (很少吃到那麼辣的白酒蜆意粉). 這個意粉算蜆最好.羊架配薯菜 - 待應沒有問羊架要多少成熟, 出來是可接受的八成熟. 外面煎得有少許過熟 (因而有點硬) 但裡面還算鮮嫩. 薯菜是薯條和炒過的椰菜和煙肉. 薯條可算是敗筆 - 很熱也算厚身但味道是快餐點薯條的味道. 整體來說不錯但沒有驚喜. 以每人$130 的價錢可以有更好的選擇 (bonheur 的 lunch 也是這個價錢, 但食物質素會好一些, 而且餐廳格局更像 fine dining).

I consider myself a foodie who has explored plenty of authentic international cuisines in New York. Having recently relocated to Hong Kong I was concerned that I could only find reasonably authentic food in Central at outrageous price tags. I was pleasantly surprised at Henry's Kitchen.
I was dining at a table of four so got to try a number of dishes.
Most notable are
- Pan fried french goose liver, served with caramel apple port wine sauce $118
- Caesar Salad $78
- Grilled New Zealand Halibut with Asparagus in scallop and herb sauce $158 (I requested Angel hair pasta on the side instead)
- Risotto with Black Truffle and mushroom $128
- Cream brulee $42

1) Goose liver
- it's difficult to get it done right. The goose liver was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. It is more like medium well than medium rare but still very tender. I like it rarer so will probably request it to be rarer next time.
- the apples underneath are caramelized but not too soft. still crunchy.... good contrast in texture and flavor (tender, heavy tasting liver versus crunchy, sweet and light apple)
- it's pretty big too, roughly 1.5 business card size
2) Caesar Salad
- very common dish, but it's in common dish where one can tell whether there are thoughts, efforts and skills behind the making.
- very very crunchy, crispy romaine lettuce. you can tell it's really fresh coz it's sweet and juicy. I looove crunchy romaine lettuce. I was told that the chef gets rid of the dark green leafy part because its texture is more boring and it's bitter. thoughtful
- salad dressing is authentic and not too overwhelming - it doesn't cover the freshness of the lettuce
- big slices of Parmesan cheese on top! another surprise. it's a very authentic touch
- i like it that there's also pieces of baked bacon and sundried tomato in it
3) Halibut with angel hair pasta
- halibut skin was crispy. angel hair pasta was simple with subtle olive oil flavor, I like it that it tastes good without having to put lots of salt in it. the pasta was cooked just right, not too soft, just chewy enough.
- another nice touch is the pieces of roasted squash on the side. again... I wouldn't expect to see well cooked squash in an Italian restaurant in a more "local" neighborhood
4) Risotto
- the black truffle smells really good. I still couldn't decide whether I can tell if this is the risotto I eat in HK or in NY... so I suppose that means it's pretty authentic here. (There's a risotto place I love in NY that makes risotto only) The garlic flavor is distinct and you can bite into chunks of garlic (which is authentic). Risotto is actually difficult to make as well... it's hard to make it creamy without overcooking/soaking the rice. The dish was def creamy and the rice was chewy. It's a bit more salty than I'd like but that's probably because the chef was generous with the truffle powder/shaves.
5) Cream Brulee
- it tastes good

Another thoughtful touch is tiny little chocolate chips on the ice cream on the side of the cheese cake. surprises are always nice.
I'm giving it a 5 stars because I think it's as authentic as you can get for the price. And it's very promising that the chef has many touches of authenticity in most of the dishes. Spaghetti house's pasta is probably $20-30 cheaper but they are horrendous hong kong food. Grappa's in pacific place is very authentic but naturally a notch more expensive. To be fair, I'm not saying this is the most authentic Italian restaurant in Hong Kong. If you have a big budget ($>500/head), go ahead and head to Soho or central, pay a much higher price for something slightly more authentic. And if you are sick of Spaghetti house, you are not paying much more to move your level up from local "italian" food to something that is much closer to being authentic and still have your full 3 courses.

other than food: the servers are very attentive and I never run out of water. the place is small and cozy - won't get too noisy.

呢一日係值得高興嘅一日,因為太座幾經努力,終於成功考取獲國際認可嘅特許財務策劃師嘅牌照。筆者第一時間得悉此喜訊後,立即提議食啲好嘢。今次嘅食肆係位於太座辦公室附近嘅「Henry’s Kitchen」。從店外內望,燈光調較得比較柔和,情調十分溫馨,適合與知己良朋共膳,當然與愛人於情人節食晚飯亦係一個唔錯嘅選擇。由於筆者公司於當日較早前舉行開市拜神儀式,肚子塞得滿滿的,所以只能與太座食一些比較簡單嘅菜式,包括「鮮帶子南瓜忌廉湯」、「焗海鮮周打湯」、「焗菠菜芝士釀意大利珍寶蘑菇」、「意式凱撤沙律」及「紅酒汁伴鵝肝意大利扁麵」。首先呈上兩款湯,南瓜忌廉湯嘅南瓜味唔明顯,不過就帶有帶子嘅鮮味,少許甜甜的,水準已經唔錯,如果南瓜味再突出多少許,令南瓜同帶子嘅味道互相輝映,那就更好,當然講與實行嘅難度係兩碼子嘅事,筆者猜想要在其中拿捏得準確,已經是另一番功夫;至於周打湯嘅海鮮配料亦鮮甜,湯底偏向creamy,符合筆者愛吃creamy嘢嘅口味,酥皮層層包著湯碟,十分鬆化可口,蘸上周打湯,還有一陣牛油香味。湯之後以素菜打頭陣,先嚟釀蘑菇。主要材料係意大利珍寶菇,即是portabello,在菇瓣上加上菠菜

湯之後以素菜打頭陣,先嚟釀蘑菇。主要材料係意大利珍寶菇,即是portabello,在菇瓣上加上菠菜蓉、椒絲、紅蘿蔔絲、芝士等。Portabello香氣馥郁,咬入口香味已經於口腔中四方八面傾瀉出來,最難得嘅係芝士嘅奶味亦十分突出,雖然以芝士入饌,但芝士那種筆者認為較霸道嘅氣味並沒有淹蓋portabello嘅香氣,兩者於筆者口腔內平分春色,係筆者是次推介;凱撤沙律很多地方都有得食,但係沙津汁唔係過酸就係過辣,此沙津醬汁恰如其分,在提升食慾之餘亦將味覺嘅官能刺激減到最低,亦是一個令筆者印象深刻嘅菜式。

是晚嘅主角以鵝肝配意大利扁麵,可惜與前者相比有點失色。首先係鵝肝,外皮冇錯係煎得香脆,最大敗筆係當中有一大條根,大煞風景,撇除呢樣,整件鵝肝都係十分嫩滑如豆腐般。筆者偏愛食比較硬身嘅意粉,貪其較有口感。此處扁麵煮嘅時間稍為耐咗少少,於筆者眼中還有進步空間,但太座就十分滿意扁麵嘅軟硬度。

食完之後,筆者本已塞得滿滿嘅肚子幾乎要炸開一樣,但係呢次係一次愉快嘅體驗。兩人共花費四百五十元,為香港經濟略盡棉力。
