我食親泰國菜都會去九龍城, 不過今次朋友一定要去香港區食, 近佢放工, 所以揀左銅鑼灣新開既 Mango Tree. 最近見到好多報紙雜誌都有介紹, 即本試下, 果然有驚喜.一入去就有個好 nice 既泰國女子招呼我地入坐, 餐廳有D暗, 不過好有氣氛, 坐得好舒服. 食物方面真係超晒班, 叫左好多味, 碟碟都好正. 先黎個冬陰公, 叫左小辣, 有4隻(開邊)大蝦, 味超濃, 好足料, 點住火上, 夠晒熱. 生蝦刺身, 好少見到咁大隻既生蝦刺身, 好鮮, 好彈, 最正係個汁, 都幾辣不過好正宗, 一流. 炭燒大頭蝦, D 蝦羔多到爆晒出黎, 燒得剛剛好, 好甘香, 好juicy. 全晚既高潮, 咖喱蟹, 好味到食完要啜埋十隻手指, D汁用黎撈白飯可以食三碗飯. 一入去就有個好 nice 既泰國女子招呼我地入坐, 餐廳有D暗, 不過好有氣氛, 坐得好舒服.

食物方面真係超晒班, 叫左好多味, 碟碟都好正.

先黎個冬陰公, 叫左小辣, 有4隻(開邊)大蝦, 味超濃, 好足料, 點住火上, 夠晒熱.

生蝦刺身, 好少見到咁大隻既生蝦刺身, 好鮮, 好彈, 最正係個汁, 都幾辣不過好正宗, 一流.

炭燒大頭蝦, D 蝦羔多到爆晒出黎, 燒得剛剛好, 好甘香, 好juicy.

全晚既高潮, 咖喱蟹, 好味到食完要啜埋十隻手指, D汁用黎撈白飯可以食三碗飯. D蟹好好肉, 勁鮮甜, 隻蟹拑大到丫, 啖啖肉, 好滿足.

芒果糯米飯, 賣相有D fusion, 芒果好清甜, 加埋香濃椰槳, 飯又唔會太甜.

芒果 cheesecake, 好少係泰國菜有 cheesecake 食, 呢種 cheesecake 質地比較軟身, 唔膩, 就算食到好飽都食得落.

總之樣樣都好正, 好耐未試過食一餐咁 perfect 既飯.

在伦敦、中东杜拜也有分店的泰式著名品牌料理Mango Tree已打进香港!其推介名物香辣珍宝河虾采用十四两的头手靓货(也是全城最貴要$318!),虾肉啖啖都是滋味,而虾头的虾膏就更是香浓的「胆固醇万岁」美食,就是豪华的美食!

香葉雞- 好食

冬蔭功- 好飲, 不過亦未比得上華欣嘅Beach restaurant.

芒果米飯- 芒果唔夠甜, 但飯好好食.

Have heard of this new site for a while and finally have a chance to pay a visit. Located on Hoi Ping Street, entrance is set on the side and easy to be noticed for first time visitors. Whole building is F&B outlets with Western, Chinese and Japanese cuisines. Once stepped out the lift, thought it's spa, nicely decorated in modern Thai style, high ceiling, which is rare in the city, interior design, furniture and lighting are all well matched, very nice.


Many waitresses are Thai and they speak fluent English and good Cantonese, very friendly, typical Thai people, pleasant personality and good at servicing.


A menu for food and one for drinks. Although it's lunch time and not hot summer, I ordered the Lemongrass Mojito. I like Mojito but not many places can do it nice. Wow, beyond by expectation, they do it excellent!
It helped to build up a good appetite and relaxing mood to enjoy the meal.

It's not easy to order Thai food for just 1 person, especially I want to try more than 1 item. I asked the waitress about the portion of fish cakes, and she said 5 pcs per order...after 5 pcs, I could not take anymore other main dish. Wanted to have Phat Thai as main course, and she was so nice that if I'd like to take only 2 pcs and she could have the chef to arrange, charge me half price. Very nice! I really don't want to waste food so I won't order if I know I can't finish.

Fish cakes look nice, I love the sauce, a little spicy, sweet with peanuts. the fish cake taste quite nice, the only thing is they used too much additives for me, I am rather sensitive to these, and cover the natural taste of the cake.

Phat Thai, craving for it. Very presentable, and delicious! Portion is huge, luckily I requested to have only 2 pcs fish cakes. All the ingredients, especially the shrimps, was so great. Noodle was evenly fried well with the sauce and ingredients. Taste is just perfectly fine, delicious and not too salty, not oily; there were no drops of oil on the bottom of the plate. The whole thing is perfect!
I finished all, every single pc of noodle.

Love to try the dessert but no more space. Next time!

I had read about this restaurant in a local magazine and decided to pay a visit before its official opening. Not surprisingly, there were only two seated tables when we walked in. Rather than a typical flat omelet, this came as a gigantic fluffy pancake. Though it would have fared better wiith additional pork stuffing within, the egg was crisp and moist with a hint of lemongrass and chili.

This was a mild red curry with a huge lamb shank resting in the middle of the dish. The lamb was absolutely tender with the meat falling effortless off the bone and this was paired with the a sweet curry without it being too overly creamy.

This was my favourite dish of the whole night! The chicken was so tender and seared with a caramel sweetness to it. The best part to the chicken was the accompanying sauce which was absolutely amazing - it was a tantalizing mixture of fish sauce, crushed peanuts and chilli which gave the chicken an extra pinch of flavour.

A meal consisting of three main dishes set us back around $500 in total which is considered relatively expensive for a Thai meal in the middle of Causeway Bay. Yet, I understand that they are promoting high-end authentic Thai cuisine which I believe is reasonable given its quality of food. I will definitely return there once it officially opens and continue trying out the rest of the dishes on its extensive menu!

We had a party of four and ordered laab pork, duck curry, chicken with chili and basil, and drinks and dessert. Although the coconut water was fine, the flesh of the young coconut was not tender, and too tough to scoop out, a sign that the coconut was not the correct ripeness. I would have preferred bigger chunks of chicken to go wtih the rice and soak up the gravies. The duck curry was also nicely flavored, but the portion was really small, especially for the price. The most disappointing dish was dessert, fried banana and brownies. The brownie was dried out and tasteless, as if it had been made three days before and stored in the back of the fridge. Most of us took only one bite and left the rest! The mango with sticky rice was also only OK, as the mango was not the correct ripeness. The final dessert was a candied waterchestnut in coconut, which was the only nice dessert, although the coconut flesh was too tough to eat, once again. The atmosphere is very nice and decor unique. But service was pretty slow and the price of the food for the portion was too high. Would come back only if other choices in the area are not available and if they increase their portion a bit and improve their service.

在倫敦、杜拜等地也分店的高級泰國料理Mango Tree,就來試試過江龍的招牌菜。在不辣的豬和雞中,若只能二選一的話,我偏向選擇後者;包著雞腿的斑蘭葉純粹點綴看起來「fine」一點,卻不會吃到很「斑蘭味」,雞腿肉本身較雞胸軟滑,醃得夠身,入口略帶甜味是廣東人所喜的味道,當然焗後會令雞腿再香口一點,是不錯的小吃。節錄的冰山一角。

剛從布吉回來, 對泰菜的熱愛有增無減得知在曼谷非常出名的MANGO TREE空降銅鑼灣心情非常興奮結果亦沒有令我失望每一道菜式都充滿驚喜相約好友在星期六到此餐廳晚餐餐廳位於比較靜的Cubus8:30p.m 依然全場滿座一踏進餐廳感覺摩登舒服被安排在小房裡的二人餐桌比大廳更寧靜更適合小情侶來一個Fresh Young Coconut清甜無比再加上厚厚的果肉值得一讚頭盤: Rice Paper Roll非常清新的米紙卷只是米紙略為厚身了湯: 冬蔭公非常驚喜地有2隻大頭蝦每一口湯都充滿蝦膏非常傳統的口味沙律: 大蝦柚子沙律柚子很新鮮多汁加上淡淡的香草是一個絕配主菜: 咖哩牛肉非常驚喜的一道菜咖哩汁+牛肉的質感值得一讚還免費附上白飯甜品: Mango Sticky Rice是此餐廳的靈魂食品糯米的香味+芒果的甜味絕對是比布吉吃到的更好大部份的服務員都是泰國人態度非常好絕對是值得推介的餐廳很快會再回來

晚上惠顧新開張的Mango Tree。不是泰國fans的我,從雜誌得知此店原來來自泰國。新店位於銅鑼灣開平道Cubus,又一型格食廈。內裡環境裝修不俗,整體感覺舒服。美中不足是環境頗應聲,若以中價餐廳來說,稍為嘈吵了一點。朋友未到,我先點了一杯名為Lychee Smash的mocktail,味道很清新,內有荔枝果肉及香草,頗有泰式風味。小吃點了烤豬頸肉,肥瘦適中,沾醬十分惹味,推介﹗沙律則選了Crispy Catfish Salad,魚肉很薄,不太吃得出來,加上那個脆皮,我與朋友都覺得口感似吃紙皮。由於份量頗足,加上我與朋友都不是大食之人,所以沒點其他食物,直接跳到甜品部份。原想點我最愛的芒果糯米飯,可惜店員說今天芒果太酸,撇除芒果類甜品後選擇不多,於是點了Banana Brownie,即炸香蕉+朱古力brownie,前者幾好味,後者ok但有點乾,這兩種東西吃起來有點風馬牛不相及,也許下次應該兩者夾著一起吃。埋單接近$500,我覺得還可以。由於是新店,不妨再多給一次機會,希望下次有進步。離開時路經水吧位置,看到裡面相當messy,也許應該遮掩一下,有些狀況是寧畀人知莫畀人見。在走廊等電

十月上旬‧晴原來,就是首發食評也有千二個。在這個食評眾多的地方,不比我六千多個食評易得。再來一間新的泰菜店,同一個主理人班底在海外得到了成功,來港加入戰圈。與竹壽司同系的,在裝修上也可以看到一些端倪。是日來試菜,吃了十多味不同的菜式,當中也有不少很出色的。而對好幾款汁醬都印象深刻,如這一款用來吃豬頸肉的醬汁,就是依照泰國東北部傳統調成,內裡包括辣椒粉、白胡椒、青檸汁、魚露等等,辣勁有層次亦帶酸香,是有特色的。另外一味芒果糯米飯也值得一試,尤其泰國糯米飯是軟熟好吃,香味十足,絕對不是十五元一客的行貨。
