My fourth visit here and all I can say is I am waiting for my fifth visit.That day it was a rainy day and later it became really cloudy later on with lightning on and off. Actually nice "change" of view.Although there is a mix and match dinner, since 4 courses cost you 1380, you would likely pay 100 more for 8 courses. If you want to try their lobster, you would add another 200 to make it 9 courses. Despite the main ingredients look familiar to my last dinner, actually all their sides are change

Although there is a mix and match dinner, since 4 courses cost you 1380, you would likely pay 100 more for 8 courses. If you want to try their lobster, you would add another 200 to make it 9 courses. Despite the main ingredients look familiar to my last dinner, actually all their sides are changed and the dishes are totally different yet tasty all the same.

My favorite was definitely the beef tartar wrapped in the crispy roll. The sauce on top was rich and the amount of tartar inside is definitely a bit more than a snack.

The bread came later(I am always a bit puzzled by this arrangement of Odyssee), which was their sourdough.

The second dish was like a ravioli with all the seafood fillings. The caviar on top was also rich without being salty.

This would be the additional course for 9 courses. The lobster was springy and the colorful zucchini made it even more appetizing. The sauce was sweet and I recommend trying the lobster on its own first before adding the sauce.

Their John Dory, despite being a firm fish, was still quite tender. The lemon confit and butter further enhanced its flavors. Even their carrot was beautifully caramelized in this dish.

The slightly imperfection I would say is the pork rack. The flavors were great, it's just that the broccolini is just put there as an afterthought. Maybe putting this in as a minisalad on the side or a puree will make it look better.

Since we wanted to try both mains, I ordered the pigeon while my friend ordered the wagyu. The pumpkin and mikan on the side definitely added an autumn twist to the dish.

I took a bite of the wagyu from my friend and it was definitely heavenly. Definitely worth the extra 180.

The first dessert came and it was the figs. The crispy pastry on top matched the sweet and soft figs underneath. Who would have thought that the vinegar can worth with figs?

The second dessert was beautifully constructed. The light sweetness from the pear was perfect with the rich chocolate and pavlova.

Since it was my birthday, we got a complimentary dessert. (the base is actually a music box). It was one of my favorite combos, chocolate and raspberries and it was a great finish to another perfect meal here.

There is a new chef for this restaurant (Chef Hubert Goussard) who, according to the restaurant’s social media, had previously worked in the kitchens of Michelin star restaurants throughout France and Switzerland. The restaurant has undeniably one of the very few with amazing views of Hong Kong, overlooking IFC across the harbour and also towards the direction of Lantau Island from afar. The restaurant has undeniably one of the very few with amazing views of Hong Kong, overlooking IFC across the harbour and also towards the direction of Lantau Island from afar. We were so grateful to be seated next to the window. The view was breathtaking.

There were two menus to choose from for lunch; a 6 course Premium Lunch menu and a Mix & Match Lunch menu which allowed for more flexibility and choice. I opted for a 4 course Mix & Match Lunch priced at $540 +10% service charge. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water (Aquaenergy @$99). The Mix & Match lunch menu however did not include tea and coffee.

Here are my tasting notes:

Cheese crisps, sourdough bread and smokey butter - the crisps were tasty and cheesy with herbs. The sourdough bread was served piping hot with slightly crispy crust. The bread tasted rather dense though as not a lot of open crumb could be seen from inside the bread.

Brittany Memories- the dish was presented nicely. There were mussels, baby clams and baby snails cooked just right with crispy baby prawns to give texture and bite to the dish. The cauliflower and salicorne also added crunch to the overall texture. The seafood consommé was quite flavourful.

Organic Egg- the poached egg sat on top of a bed of spinach, complimented by foie gras and cured duck bits, spinach purée and a foie gras jus. The egg was cooked perfect with the egg yolk oozing out once broke open. The jus and the other elements complemented the egg. A good dish.

Atlantic Cod - the cod fillet, was rolled up with lemon confit filling within, and the fish roll was served with white butter. The nature of cod was that it was quite a bland fish. Unfortunately, the fish turned out to be rather tough, and the white butter didn’t enhance its flavour and there wasn’t enough lemon confit to add acidity to the dish. The carrot purée was velvety smooth though.

Soufflé- the Guanaja chocolate soufflé was cooked textbook perfect; a reasonable rise above the brim, served piping hot with soft centre. The size of the soufflé was also generous too
. The milk ice cream didn’t quite pair with the soufflé and it probably needed a citrusy ice cream to balance out the sweetness of the soufflé. Nevertheless, a good effort made.

Summary: there were some good elements in the dishes, though some were not so favourable. In respect of the level of service, attempts were made by members of the staff team to be attentive though discrepancies were noted; insufficient knowledge on how some of the dishes on menu would be prepared or cooked when asked, serving dishes to the wrong table, neglected to help to pour the sparkling water nearing the end of the meal, discrepancies in how cutleries were laid on the table by different staff members etc. It is plausible that the chef is new and he would probably need some time to gel with his team and to bring his team members up to speed on his passion and creativity.

3/5After a 2 hours lunch, all I remember is the bread, texture of my pork, perfect squid and jasmine tea ice cream.Others dishes are nice, flavour is pretty, is what’s the price is, so no complaints at all, also not much surprise too.Great view great service.

一上到去已經很喜歡這環境, 而且天氣好好,看到藍天白雲💙, 也望到對岸的景色,超美今次同老公分別叫了3 course +coffee麵包& 芝士脆脆是熱辣辣的外脆內軟,芝士脆脆好味Brittany Bouchot Mussels:這個酸酸的,配上lemon汁,好清新Smoked Ele:這個味道一般,我老公不太喜歡Iberian Pluma肉肉好軟,好淋,味道okMediterranean Salmon Bass這個魚好味,而且好滑,加上擺盤也美SouffléHoney , passionate 味的soufflé 超鐘意,末食已聞到好香❤️成餐最期待的就是個音樂盒蛋糕,再加上法色小甜品,簡直少女心爆發💕最後叫了coffee 畫上完美句號人均消費$620

Soufflé

Honey , passionate 味的soufflé 超鐘意,末食已聞到好香❤️

成餐最期待的就是個音樂盒蛋糕,再加上法色小甜品,簡直少女心爆發💕

最後叫了coffee 畫上完美句號

因為見到朋友post咗呢個音樂盒生日蛋糕覺得好有噱頭…所以決定訂呢間餐廳幫我男朋友慶祝生日!打電話訂座時已再三說明要音樂盒蛋糕,亦都俾埋名字給說廣東話嘅職員!冇諗過一間高級餐廳連呢一個小小嘅要求都會忘記!我哋叫咗八道菜嘅晚餐…食物尚算可以…但係服務員就真係麻麻…上菜快到好似食快餐咁…一啲都唔似食緊法國菜!結果我忍唔住同佢哋講可唔可以慢慢上!連甜品上埋都未見到音樂盒蛋糕…我就扮去洗手間跟住通知服務員我嘅音樂盒蛋糕仲未到!佢叫我等等幫我查一查…但一直冇回頭!大概15分鐘後我終於見到佢…但佢竟然當住我男朋友面前話俾我知佢哋搵唔到我有訂音樂盒蛋糕嘅資料…不過可以即刻替我安排!佢問我要嘅係慶祝周年紀念定係生日?我真係唔該晒佢…好好一個驚喜搞到咁嘅地步!個音樂盒蛋糕出到嚟連名字也沒有!花左三千幾蚊食呢餐飯…我期待嘅只係呢一個音樂盒蛋糕!結果極度失望😭😭

Celebrated a good friend’s birthday here. We ordered oysters for starter followed by Perigord duck foie gras and Brittany bouchot mussels. Foie gras with truffle tasted delicious and generous in portion so did the mussels. They serve bread & chips (cannot remember exactly the name but you can taste herbs). Both butter and bread was so so not my fav kind. Waited for around 20-30 minutes for the next course to arrive. It was alright because we enjoyed the starter and small chats while waiting. We

Celebrated a good friend’s birthday here. We ordered oysters for starter followed by Perigord duck foie gras and Brittany bouchot mussels. Foie gras with truffle tasted delicious and generous in portion so did the mussels. They serve bread & chips (cannot remember exactly the name but you can taste herbs). Both butter and bread was so so not my fav kind. Waited for around 20-30 minutes for the next course to arrive. It was alright because we enjoyed the starter and small chats while waiting. We picked truffle ravioli and organic egg with beef consommé each. Ravioli tasted pretty salty, texture was alright while the beef consommé tasted just fine. Next came the main. We selected the iberian pluma with lentils, artichoke and the Mediterranean salmon bass. Both were salty to our taste buds. Nothing too spectacular. Meat was tender but not much of layering when eaten with lentil & artichoke. Texture was alright for the salmon bass. We ordered a bottle of champagne to celebrate but unfortunately no one bother to refill until I stand up to do it myself.

Floor team was polite and explained the dishes well. A senior one was humorous too and a lady offered to take photos when they served our birthday dessert, petit four together with a lovely musical box. Nice gesture in all and the floor team deserve compliment except for the champagne refill part. The hazelnut petit four tasted good. I ordered passion fruit soufflé served with chamomile sorbet which tasted tad sweet but very aromatic. Sorbet was so so not a-la-minute as a whole piece of ice at the bottom melted in my mouth. My girlfriend had the fruit tart and she said it tasted fruity and delicious. My honest opinion the sorbet was overrated hence, the disappointment. I was thinking maybe the fruit tart and chocolate would have tasted better than the soufflé. In all, I would still return for the view and experience but definitely have room for improvement.

餐廳係Sᴋʏ¹⁰¹(好似三百幾米),所以就係望住夜景食晚餐樣樣都好食,海膽、魚子、鱸魚、乳鴿、和牛乜都食過下🤤呢間餐廳調既𝑠𝑎𝑢𝑐𝑒係偏甜,有種食緊甜品既感覺有好多款係好食,而我係對食材有種熟悉而陌生既感覺,唔知係點整出黎甜品好笑地係偏中式(如芝麻雪糕),食落一般(唔岩我口味)最吸睛當然係木馬音樂盒蘋果奶凍😍😍😍(一見到即刻心心眼😏bf真係識氹女)上𝑂𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑒見人插佢 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒唔得,但我覺得非常好,拍得住五星酒店,食完包會用掃掃走碎屑,每食完一道菜就換一套餐具,又肯幫手影相,問候我地👍缺點係大多數𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑓𝑓講英文,或用法語介紹菜式,令自己充滿問號,不過都有少少旅行感覺既😙

上𝑂𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑒見人插佢 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒唔得,但我覺得非常好,拍得住五星酒店,食完包會用掃掃走碎屑,每食完一道菜就換一套餐具,又肯幫手影相,問候我地👍缺點係大多數𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑓𝑓講英文,或用法語介紹菜式,令自己充滿問號,不過都有少少旅行感覺既😙

喺呢度嘅嘢食好好味😋,風景都好靚🌃加上呢度嘅酒級數好高。除此之外,侍應哥哥同姐姐都好好人,基本上有求必應,佢哋嘅開胃菜芝士脆餅真係好好食,所以要咗多幾塊,佢哋都冇黑口黑面。呢度嘅環境同氣氛真係好溫暖。我可以話喺呢度渡過左一個好美妙嘅夜晚。

一嚟到個職員不斷迫我哋食最貴嗰個tasting menu好hard sell, 有幾樣野唔食而個職員好心咁話可以轉其他食物, 結果心軟叫咗。Sell完之後唔理我哋啦。頭盤連麵包都冇,問其中一個waiter, 佢狡辯話上咗starter先有麵包,再叫多次另一個職員先俾麵包我地由於食咗最貴嗰個餐,所以食嘅時間比較耐, 去到尾段大概3點, 個鬼佬經理趕落場, 幫我地影完相, 竟然話間餐廳就閂門,仲有10分鐘唔該快啲食晒。食物冇問題但係服務真係好差

• Presse De Volaille 鵝肝整成既cold eat,ok ge試吓咁
• Burgundy Snails🐌 好食到我想飲哂佢D green asparagus湯汁
• Mediterranean Octopus🐙 軟軟的,煙韌的,ok架
• Iberian Pluma🥓 有少少grill味,甜甜的,唔知點解有啲飽,所以食唔哂
• Japanese Madai🐠 plating好靚,份量岩岩好,唔會太飽
• Gariguette Strawberries🍓呢個甜品黎得好合時,士多啤梨🍓酸酸的好開胃,我最中意佢個開心果雪糕🍦同脆脆嘅macaron

環境實係有讚👍🏻無彈,餐廳位於ICC 101樓,全港甚至全世界數一數二咁高,坐擁無敵海景,周邊都係白雲☁️ 下面係bird’s eye view睇西九,對面係中西環,相信夜景會更靚
餐廳上菜有啲慢,不過服務ok,黎得呢度食法國菜都唔係預quick lunch架喇
好多人黎呢度慶祝🪅生日,餐廳有個似係蛋糕🎂既工具,會播生日歌🎼同有隻熊仔🧸係上面揸住架太空船🛸氹氹轉,好低b不過我中意🥰

Dinner with the ladies. Odyssée started with Aurelie Altemaire (who had spent 10 years with Joël Robuchon) as chef de cuisine. However, seems that Chef Aurelie has now left. Choice of 3 course ($1,180), 4 course ($1,380), 8 course ($1,480), or 9 course ($1,680). The whole table had to go for the same menu; server strongly recommended the 9 course but we went for the 8 course menu- the difference being the Blue Lobster, which none of us was a fan of. Detox nite for everybody. No alcohol allowed.H

Roasted Saddle of Aveyron Lamb with French Beans and Anchoiade (ie a spread made with anchovies, olive oil and garlic). Whilst the Aveyron Lamb and the saddle cut had been known for being tender and juicy, mine was very chewy and tasted very gamey.

Bresse Pigeon with Beetroot sauce with Morelo Cherries and patty of Polenta (ie yellow cornmeal). My favorite dish of the night: texture was tender with crispy skin on the leg.

Palette cleanser: Olive Oil Ice-Cream with Coriander, on a bed of Mango and kiwi. Hated coriander- couldn’t finish. Actually would have enjoyed the Olive Oil Ice-Cream on its own. What a waste.

Servers never enquired how we liked our meat done. No one came to refill our hot water.
Could hear the hilarity coming probably from the private room of another restaurant. Smell of cigarette and cigar smoke was also prominent.
Seemed all the other tables were celebrating birthdays that night; music box tune of “happy birthday” playing on never-ending loop.
In summary: not wowed.
