I’m with very big disappointment on the service of it. I went there on 23Dec for a premium lunch with two glasses of wine. The food was ok but I was with big disappointment on the service quality…We finished our fish at 1417 and the sirloin arrived us in 18mins at 1435, we completed the sirloin at 1450 while I noticed there were two staff kept busy tidying up the two tables surrounding us… we had been waiting for our tea for 14mins, meaning we hv our tea only at 1504 and dessert came only at 151

The big disappointment was then a staff came to us right after serving dessert and told us to complete quickly as they would need a clean up at 1500. I never experienced a premium grade restaurant would serve customers like that… in 6mins, the staff came and told us to complete it asap as they need a cleanup!

Funny enough another staff told us to blow the candle first… why were we instructed by the staff to blow the candle while we were already busy rushing to complete the dessert! This is quite nonsense for a premium grade restaurant or I’m over expecting them?

What a disappointing service, we questioned ourselves why we were spending $2,500+ for this quality of service, it was apparently the staff served us late in between some dishes… I saw there were still some other customers outside our room when we left… This is very disappointing service… if you look for a good service restaurant… you’d better choose others…

On the food, it was not bad. The superb view on 101/F is remarkable too. If you have bday or anniversary to celebrate, the dessert came with music box is amazing too but again hope your mood won’t be ruined by the bad quality of service by them.

After several of my friends said this was a great place to eat, I decided to try it here and I was not disappointed.For the view/window seats, their policy is first come first serve. This was the extra dish if your order the 9th course and it was definitely worth having.  The dish was rich on its own but this is the first time I tried it with horseradish. The spicy aroma further elevated this already stunning dish. They would carefully tell you to add only a bit first as it can be quite intense, like wasabi.

The texture of the salmon bass is on the firmer side(less firm than the John Dory) but still succulent. The only thing I would want more is their mashed potato on the side. Haha.

This dish was definitely a star and showed off their skills. The pasta of the raviola was thin yet there was so much filling inside. Despite the meat being venison, it was still very tender.  The sauce at the bottom is actually a combination of chocolate and citrus jelly. Any imbalance in the different elements may have ruined the dish but it worked out perfectly.

We tried both the wagyu and the pigeon. Despite the pigeon was still delicious, I have to say I loved the wagyu more especially their kabocha puree. Definitely worth the $180 supplementary course.

The first dessert was the pear ice-cream and osmanthus. The choice of this combination was quite great as both flavors were light and choosing other ingredients would have overpowered the other.

今日好友為我慶祝生日,特意預訂這間餐廳。每份食物質素也很好,但是慶祝生日來說有點掃興,因為每一個店員都沒有笑容,在點餐的時候亦顯得不耐煩,而且說話好像有骨的。自問自己已經不是要求多多的客人,打算拍照的時候,只是想請店員幫忙一下拍照,店員頓時黑面,顯得不想協助。這可算是我試過這麼多間的高級餐廳內服務質素最差的一間,因為不是只有一名店員,而是所有店員都非常不禮貌。好彩生日蛋糕有點驚喜才挽回少少分數,不過整體沒有受到尊重,試一次可以,不過不會再來。我平時很少寫食評,但是我這一次寫comment是希望大家對這間餐廳的服務打定心理準備,到時候減少掃興。

太有心了我哋之前預約嘅時候有講到慶祝週年,佢哋有幫我哋安排多一個小蛋糕,上面仲有音樂盒😍打卡一流!我本身自己鍾意食甜所以覺得呢個白朱古力嘅蘋果蛋糕非常好食😋其實食到呢一度嘅時候已經好飽好飽好飽,所以都有少少食唔落😆但係呢個蛋糕真係超級好味👍🏻

The 🐷 French suckling pig was beautifully plate and the 🍋 citron givré looked exactly like a lemon, inside its white chocolate shell was the most delicious combination of lemon curd, yogurt and moist fluffy sponge cake 😍

The highlight for me was definitely the 🐟 Patagonian Toothfish. I have never had fish with such a unique, bouncy texture, and with its tightly-flaked flesh and clean sweet flavour, i was genuinely impressed. The sauce on the side was light and smooth and the roasted baby turnips were beautifully caramelised, truly a dish of multiple refined elements, none of which overshadowed the toothfish, which remained the centrepiece of the dish!😍

The 🍨creme brulee was a real surprise, the aroma the ceps mushroom was delicious, and the bacon bits just intensified its flavours. The apple foam was an interesting touch which balanced out the savouriness of the dish though I found the crunch of the apple slices a bit out of place.

The mixed fruit sorbet had great flavours but didn’t go as well with the soufflé. My only negative comment would be how eager the waitresses were to collect our plates, a little too eager I would say. The food also came a bit too quickly, especially the dessert and they set down the birthday music box with the chocolates on top as I was out of my seat taking pictures of the soufflé, so it felt a little chaotic and definitely not reflective of the attention to details one would expect from a restaurant of such

比較令我失望嘅一道菜。因為Menu上話係乳豬,所以我expect 佢嘅口感應該係細滑幼嫩,但食落就同想像中頗有出入——豬肉嘅肉質相對粗糙,有少少似食緊煲湯嘅豬肉咁。比較可取嘅係烤脆左嘅脆豬外皮同無花果蓉,但整體而言唔太推薦。

必點🌟算係我近期食過最出色嘅牛扒❤️廚師將A4級嘅宮崎和牛煎至5成熟,外層簡單沈上鹽、胡椒同少許醬汁;牛扒外層焦脆,中間嘅肉則呈現誘人嘅嫩紅色,油脂分佈相當平均。切一小塊放入口,濃郁嘅牛味同油香係舌尖融化,令人回味無窮。

I had to watch my diet, so we chose the a-la-carte option. To my surprise, after knowing my preference, they made a gluten free version for me, and the normal version for my friend.

We started off with some champaign and a complementary solid onion soup as the starter. House bread came right after with a smoked bacon flavor butter. The butter was the “killer”, so good!

We added $280 for the Kristal Gold Caviar. It was see urchin covered by cauliflower foam, with caviar on a separate dish. Flavor was very rich, I like it very much.

The next star of the night was langoustines. It was very tender, well balanced flavor with the Japanese tomato. It just melted in our mouths.

The two mains were A4 Sirloin and pigeon. The sirloin was cooked beautifully. The A4 wasn’t too fatty but with enough marbling that just melted in our mouths. I don’t normally like Wagyu, yet I still found this tasty. The pigeon’s flavor was good too; however, the meat was a little too raw to our liking, tender though, just a bit too pink. Has a little gamey taste to it.

For dessert, we had the cheese platter. Out of the four kinds, I like Comte the most. At the end, they surprised us with an anniversary apple serving on top of a music box. Very thoughtful.

Bread freshly baked and moist inside.

Amuse bouche appetiser is savoury with soft and crunchy texture contrast. Comes together with smoky salmon/salmon roe roll with cheese balls.

Langoustine - perfectly cooked sweet and juicy with two different sauces. Looks great too.

Duck foie gras - paired with japanese mushroom. Wonder if a stronger flavoured mushroom would be better but then the focus is on the foie gras. Two different sauces are excellent. Fig is great.

Patagonian toothfish - had to look up what a tooth fish is haha! not exactly a nice looking fish but it sure tastes damn good. Soft, tender cod-like but of course it is belongs to the cod family! Yuze wasabi sauce is amazing, carrot is sweet and tender. There is also slices of crunchy purple carrot to add texture.

Choose between wagyu or pigeon for the 6 course meal.
The pigeon is excellent, not gamey in taste, perfectly cooked to retain the tenderness.
The wagyu pales in comparison to the pigeon as somehow the flavour of the fat did not come out. Maybe need a hotter sear???

Passion frust souffles - wow! must have been one of the best souffles I have tasted. Passion fruit citrus flavour is excellent combination! Sorbet with citrus favours just synch with the passion fruit souffles.

Fortunate enough to have the chef served us the petit fours. Though it was a fleeting close encouter!

Certainly highly recommend this place. Pay good attention to the sauces, the contrast in texture and aesthetically crafted plating to enjoy all the details of fine dining.

PS: for those who are celebrating their birthday, the petit fours will be served on a small musical chair gadget with happy birthday tune, certainly icing on the cake.

我本身都幾鍾意食可麗露,而呢個係餐廳送嘅甜品,如果book枱有mark到係慶祝就會連音樂盒一齊上(應該係),可麗露上面有少少鐵觀音味嘅醬,即刻覺得將個味道提升左好多,可麗露本身都出色,微微焦脆加煙韌,真係好想食多粒(*´꒳`*)
