以為濃郁鮮美,怎料橙紅色的蕃茄湯比預期淡些小,
蟹肉一球真材實料,這裡選用的麵,出乎我意料之外,並非用上檬粉,而是加入米線卻不算入味!
個人覺得上環 <越蘆越南牛肉粉> 的味道更勝一籌!

起初,我見到網上的相片,以為是特飲,這是賣相討好的甜品
班蘭跟椰子兩者口味好夾!絕對是最佳拍檔!

由上而下細味品嚐!
椰子雪糕椰香飄飄!
入口即溶!
香甜濃郁的椰子味!
我見到碎冰,凍冰冰,當時想撥開不食,嚐到一點點,原來是清甜的椰汁冰,那麼就不容錯過嘞!

底部是班蘭啫喱,其質感不像港式啫喱,似是珍多冰的粒粒質感,口感帶韌幾特別!

Pho Up話明Pho Up就當然係要叫Pho啦,牛河,肉料同河粉都唔錯但牛肉湯底就真係有些不好,色水是對版的,但味道確實不行飲落比較似水,要加返啲辣招魚露調返個味道朋友叫了個番茄蟹粉麵呢個反而有點驚喜湯頭夠濃,蟹肉份量都夠湯飲落有啲似飲近lobster bisque一樣,呢個可以返食小食方面叫了牛油雞亦,春卷,豬頸肉牛油雞同春卷味道係唔錯不過同樣地炸得唔夠脆身豬頸肉同樣地如果面層可以燒內啲,濃多小小整到脆身小小會更好。總括來講經過可以一試,有進步空間,希望下次再食既時候會有改善。

朋友叫了個番茄蟹粉麵
呢個反而有點驚喜
湯頭夠濃,蟹肉份量都夠
湯飲落有啲似飲近lobster bisque一樣,呢個可以返食

牛油雞同春卷味道係唔錯不過同樣地炸得唔夠脆身

一提起越南菜 ,大家一定馬上想到「越式牛肉粉 - PHO」!好吃的牛肉粉,花長時間用足料熬製的湯底,固然是靈魂所在。然而,再配還精選靚牛肉,以及產自越南的河粉,才能把PHO 的美味昇華至最高點。

想不到,這是,老媽子捨牛油粉而不吃,選了蟹肉蕃茄粉Crab and Tomato Vermicelli$88,餸料有藍蟹肉、蝦丸、扎肉、豆卜和香草。紅辣椒、青檸和芽菜,則另上。

先一呷一口湯底,既帶海鮮的鮮味和甜味,也有蕃茄的果香和酸味,集鮮酸於一口,好好味。浸在湯中的米粉,淥完後,再過冷河,口感更為爽滑富口感和嚼勁,且米香十足。

甜品,要了看似平凡,卻頗具特式的焦糖布丁Cream Caramel$55。香滑細軟的焦糖布丁,配上富咬口嚼勁且香脆的茴香籽和花生,再混入以榛果甜酒調製的香甜糖漿,煞是好吃﹗

近年中環開左一間又一間越南粉麵店,間間都索價近百,成行成市開到好似日本拉麵店咁多。今次食呢間位置喺荷李活道,冇記錯前身就係日本拉麵店,可見飲食業真係唔易做,潮流呢家野話變就變。三款湯粉,見呢度有米線食都糾結左一陣,因為上次喺九如坊食嗰間有好印象。最後都係決定要返牛肉河😛有啲人好執著牛河就要全部牛肉,但越來越多地方做嘅牛河都唔止生熟牛肉咁簡單。呢碗牛河有生牛肉片、牛丸、牛腩、牛尾。先講個湯,有色但只係咸咸地,唔算好濃牛味,河粉夾起唔易斷,掛湯力都ok。生牛肉仲見到係未熟嘅👍🏻雖然唔係滿佈雪花,但食落竟然非常嫩滑!牛腩用上和牛,炆得好腍,兼且肉味特濃,牛尾用少少黑椒炆煮,唯質感稍靭,牛丸質素都唔錯。$88唔加一,絕對唔平,但食物質素、味道、裝修都對得住呢個價錢,又加上早前喺附近另一家牛肉粉嘅唔愉快經驗,更顯得呢一間物有所值。

Usually I don't like to eat Vietnam food but my friend insist to try so we went there during our lunch time.When I saw  the menu,i think it was a bit expensive compare to other tho restaurant.We ordered beef and pork noodles, together with spring roll.Beef soup base for both bowls were very warming on a cold day.Though it a bit silly to say, but it really has very strong  beef taste,making the noodles more juicy,since it used slow cooked method to cook the beef, it was very soft ,keep the origin

Beef soup base for both bowls were very warming on a cold day.Though it a bit silly to say, but it really has very strong  beef taste,making the noodles more juicy,since it used slow cooked method to cook the beef, it was very soft ,keep the original taste of the beef.

The pork soup noodle was very nice too, pork was chewy and there are many ingredients in it,the noodle wont break easily but i like beef one more.

I didnt take photo of the spring roll as we were too hungry and ate them all ones the roll arrived,but it was crunchy and the taste was fulfilling,however,I think it might not be enough for a man to fill up the stomach,but it surely is a good place if you want to grab a fast lunch before 1230

Yes, there’s obviously pho, Vietnam’s most popular export with a savory beef broth and rice noodles. With a name like Pho Up, you better have a good bowl of it. Thankfully they mostly back it up with a satisfying bowl that is cheekily printed with “Suck the pho up” below the rim. Their pho bo has a flavorful broth and flat noodles which offered more bite than your typical thin rice vermicelli, but the real winner was the oh so tender wagyu beef brisket and rounds that were superior to most bowls of pho I’ve come across.

The biggest knock on the pho was the oxtail, which had a lot of meat but was not rendered enough for the meat to be easily pulled off from the bone, making it more difficult to eat. I have not yet tried other pho spots in Hong Kong, but my dining partners confirmed that this bowl was better than most places in town, which are usually lacking in multiple aspects and also don’t usually include oxtail or high quality beef in their pho at the price of 88 HKD.

We also enjoyed their bun bo hue, an aromatic beef noodle soup that was slightly sweet, sour and spicy without being too rich, although I was hoping for a bit more of a flavor punch. Pho Up has their own take on it by adding pork knuckle and pork belly to the typical combo of Vietnamese sausage and beef, but they also elevate the beef by using that same tender wagyu brisket that breaks apart with just a poke of your chopsticks.

Pho Up’s final noodle dish is the bun rieu where blue crab is the star. A mound of it sits atop a tomato based broth, accented by shrimp balls and tofu. This was a more unique bowl of noodles, but overall just not as satisfying as the others. If you want crab, you’d be better off ordering their green mango salad with Alaskan crab, dressed with fish sauce and peanuts. The saltiness of the sauce paired perfectly with the thinly sliced unripe mango and carrots, with sweet chunks of crab meat to make a fresh yet complex salad.

We wanted to try their summer rolls, which wrapped a tiger prawn in rice paper rolls paired with a yuzu dipping sauce. Sadly they were sold out that day (likely growing pains from being brand new). We went for the less healthy cha gio chien, or deep fried spring rolls. After wrapping them with romaine lettuce and Thai basil and dipping them into the fish sauce-based nuoc cham, their spring rolls ended up being too addictive to resist adding a second order, though they could’ve sat in the fryer longer to let the wrappers gain more color and crunch.

Our starter ended up being the last dish to arrive, as the roasted pork neck likely needed more time to cook than the other dishes. It was worth the wait, as the juicy, slightly smoky marinated meat was served with a bright and delicious lime-infused herb sauce.

Pho Up is bright, clean, and not too crowded for a Hong Kong restaurant. It’s primarily made for smaller parties with a number of tables for two and a big bar area perfect for the solo lunch crowd. You could come with a group of up to 8, though they only have one table that could accommodate a party of this size.

Overall, Pho Up is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. It’s priced well, with their noodles coming in cheaper than bowls with similar ingredients in the area. They are also BYOB for wine only with no corkage fee.

If you know me, I have an obsession with stars or anything that shines.Well this place just got my attention after shopping at Marks and Spencers.The decor is nice and bright with a green and orange theme.Looking at the menu, it was nice and defined yet concise because you have noodles, salads, drinks etc and dessert.As I wanted to try everything, I decided to order a noodle, banh mi, salad and dessert.Started with drinks.The Avocado smoothie is a must for me, it was nice how it wasn't too sweet

As I wanted to try everything, I decided to order a noodle, banh mi, salad and dessert.

Started with drinks.
The Avocado smoothie is a must for me, it was nice how it wasn't too sweet so you could taste the unami of the avocado.

My friend had the ice lime tea which tastes different to your usual tea.
It is hard to describe the taste but to me it tasted like Cadbury's Turkish delight with a hint of lipstick.

Started with the goi nom bo which is salad with banana blossom .
The salad is refreshing and complex in taste. It had all the tastes you could imagine from being sweet, sour, bitter and spicy.
Banana blossom is also good for your health too which you can google for more info!

Next was the bun rieu, the broth was great with a strong crab taste taste and the herbs were well balanced.
The noodles were a bit like rice vermicelli and soaked the broth well.
If you have been to Sisombath , the noodles are quite similar to the noodles served there.

Next was the bahn mi.
The baguette was so good because it was light and crispy and the filling was simple but delicious.
It had pate, three different meat slices, cilantro and their specially made sauce which gave it that lovely sweet and spicy kick.
This baguette is definitely worth sinking your teeth into because it is imported from Vietnam to guarantee a good quality baguette..

Finished with the dessert which I was also anticipating.
On the bottom layer is pandan jelly, the middle layer is coconut granite topped with coconut icecream.
The star of the dessert was the coconut granite which is pure coconut water that you can taste so it was a brilliant way to end the meal.
