Most of the dishes are not bad (the steak didn’t really live up to my expectation tho given it’s their specialty...it’s really just so so) My fav is their cheesecake- it has an interesting texture, crispy on the outside and soft/ semi liquid on the inside. The biggest disappointment is the service- we ordered the king prawn pasta and I didn’t know it was meant to be spicy.. I’m actually allergic to spicy food so I only had a bite and had to ask my partner to help finish it... a waiter came by and asked hows everything and I told him that I had to take a pass on the pasta since I’m allergic to spicy food. He was like “oh you really can’t do spicy food?” And simply walked away after I said yes.

I mean I wasn’t really expecting him to exchange the plate or anything but thought he should at least say sth to provide some comfort.... it’s just a bit off to ask your customer for feedback but then ignore it when your customer actually says sth other than “everything is great”... you might as well not ask then@@

最後就係甜品啦 佢個朱古力蛋糕係好似brownie咁樣既 有少少特別既橙皮味 唔算話太甜 都ok 不過佢個雪糕溶得好快 食到最後個brownie會淋左 所以大家要食快D阿😎😎之後就到我地睇相覺得好靚既cheesecake 佢真係好流心 而且暖暖地 但係唔知係咪因為咁 佢個騷味亦都超級突出 係騷到我地4個都唔係好接受到🙊羊奶愛好者可能覺得好正 但係我地就真係唔係好得🤭🤭不過呢間餐廳都幾sweet 佢地D staffs有寫張卡比壽星女 都幾開心kekeke

We went to rubia because I wanted to try their steak they announced on Instagram that looks so yumy, once we were there they said they didn't have any tables upstairs, so we had to seat on a high table (very small actually) We order huevos rotos, foie gras and the steak. Honestly was nothing special, the huevos rotos with chorizo was literally 3 small pieces of chorizo, I could totally make them at home even better, the foie was normal thing, and the steak was no flavor at all. Food was horrendous. The steak smelled and tasted odd. The tuna tartare was purple in colour, and the shrimps were frozen and drenched in oil. Their chips were just frozen oven-baked chips. Our stomachs felt unwell after the meal. They offer double cheeseburgers on their Tapas menu; that’s when you know it’s a fraudulent Spanish restaurant. Insanely overpriced for what it is. At 9 20pm, our table was “ready” as they said, and we were told to go upstairs to get seated. No one left the restaurant during that time interval. To our surprise, there were 6 empty tables when we arrived the dining area. It almost seemed like they intentionally made us wait at the bar area so that we would order drinks. Utterly ridiculous.

這次介紹這間位於中環的西班牙餐廳,真的很矛盾,不知道怎麼打分。食物是好吃,很喜歡他的油炸蝦,蒜油香超重,蒜油還可以配麵包吃,推介大家一定要點的其中一個菜式。牛肉他他比較起我曾在外面吃過的,味道相對淡,但咬口十足,每粒肉也吃到少量的脂肪、牛筋。紅蝦墨汁麵份量也很大,很適合四人吃,雖然不算我吃過最好吃的紅蝦意粉,但也挺特別的,有點像炒麵的感覺。甜品比較不是我的類型,兩個甜品也點了,芝士撻偏咸、有淡淡鵝肝味,看個人口味。Almond 雪糕和朱古力也偏甜了一點,吃了一口就不行了。讚賞部分完了,必須吐嘈。環境方面,樓上和樓下差很遠,樓下的半戶外餐桌,夏天實在太...熱,即使置了風扇也是非常熱,而且旁邊、對面也是酒吧,音樂聲、人聲有點吵耳,建議訂位時選擇樓上冷氣位置,也比較寧靜,適合用餐。服務方面,當天的經理/接待處的小姐服務態度非常差,他是穿不一樣的衣服,估計他是比較高級吧。首先我們早早兩星期前已經訂位,但安排不了樓上較舒適的位置給我們,還給我一些爛理由,比如說如果三個人坐會違反1.5米距離,但樓下也不見得有遵守好這個規則。一直說幫我們check,但從來沒有一次主動給我們報告到底check了些什

牛味都幾香。相比起上一個星期去La Rambla吃的120日dry age的rubia gallega,這個沒那麼濃,但反而吃得舒脆,味不會太重。而且多一點水份的肉質,咬起來好咬一些。

很特別的甜品。濃重的芝士味,表面焗得香脆,中間是濕軟得近乎流心的芝士,未吃過這個味道的cheesecake。雪糕完全不甜,完全是威士忌味。

Celebrating birthday with my friends, the ambience and decor are nice in the restaurant, the manager was very helpful, the food taste good, there was a small mistake made from the order and the waiter trying to argue with us and insist of putting down the plate, which was a bit awkward, but finally he agreed to change the dish, which we think he could have sent it back to kitchen right away rather than trying to say we ordered the wrong thing, thus the girl was giving us a little attitude when s

見到OpenRice 呢間新開無幾耐既餐廳,主打西班牙菜,見食評唔相都好唔錯,疫情之下難得出街食一次飯,就千挑萬選左呢一間,但係食完我地都好後悔張個quota俾左佢餐廳既服務整體泥講唔錯架,侍應食每一道菜都會問你覺得點,但我覺得就真係too much,有少少煩。講到食物真係我地係下晝去的,注意佢地係無set lunch,全日都係a la Carte,呢個蝦既頭盤唯一做得好既地方就係夠熱。蝦一啲蝦味都無,感覺係雪藏蝦。 等二味八爪魚配有芝士薯蓉既tapas 可唯最出色,但呢味可以熱啲就好。芝士薯蓉好食,八爪魚正常。之後嗌左佢地最有名既dry-aged beef dish 侍應建議既5成熟度, 出泥既時候唔知係咪太細塊...我感覺只有中間個3/4塊可以食,其實都好乾以接近500蚊一客既價錢,我覺得有掉錢落鹹水海既感覺。鐘意食全熟牛扒既朋友們可以一試最後,亦都係食次泥既原因,warm cheese tart, 佢地既cheese tart有加blue cheese 制作相對比較濃,但如果唔食blue cheese 的話,我勸你唔好試啦 雖然叫warm cheese tart 上到枱chees

見到OpenRice 呢間新開無幾耐既餐廳,主打西班牙菜,見食評唔相都好唔錯,疫情之下難得出街食一次飯,就千挑萬選左呢一間,但係食完我地都好後悔張個quota俾左佢

餐廳既服務整體泥講唔錯架,侍應食每一道菜都會問你覺得點,但我覺得就真係too much,有少少煩。
講到食物真係
我地係下晝去的,注意佢地係無set lunch,全日都係a la Carte,呢個蝦既頭盤唯一做得好既地方就係夠熱。蝦一啲蝦味都無,感覺係雪藏蝦。

之後嗌左佢地最有名既dry-aged beef dish
侍應建議既5成熟度, 出泥既時候唔知係咪太細塊...我感覺只有中間個3/4塊可以食,其實都好乾
以接近500蚊一客既價錢,我覺得有掉錢落鹹水海既感覺。鐘意食全熟牛扒既朋友們可以一試

最後,亦都係食次泥既原因,warm cheese tart, 佢地既cheese tart有加blue cheese 制作相對比較濃,但如果唔食blue cheese 的話,我勸你唔好試啦
雖然叫warm cheese tart 上到枱cheese tart 都呈半溶狀態,但其實一啲都唔warm
又有被騙嘅感覺⋯⋯

好久沒吃西班牙菜了,城裡一直找不到特別出眾的西班牙館子,新收藏了Rubia便來試試。環境輕鬆愉快,每道菜的質量都很不錯,最終滿意而歸,下次一定會再來,嘗試更多的菜式!——-Seasonal tomato salad with smoked sardines. 整支番茄沙拉,夾著煙薰沙丁魚片,很有滋味,味道層次豐富,喜歡。Octopus gallega on potato cream 烤章魚搭配薯泥,章魚火候正好,肉質恰到好處,搭配細膩綿密的potato cream味道好極了。比前兩天在某意大利餐廳吃的烤章魚好吃多了。Gambas Al ajillo 橄欖油蒜味蝦,橄欖油很豐富但蒜味不足,可以多些蒜的味道。padron pepper 在這裡是side dish,跟牛排一起上。pepper個頭很大,不油膩,很好吃。Rubia Gallega boneless rib eye,五分熟,服務員提醒可能有點chewy,實際上味道非常好,口感也恰到好處,不像wagyu beef那種油膩的軟嫩,是一種外面焦酥,內部軟嫩的口感,個人很喜歡。配菜的紅椒很有味道,薯條脆脆的,沙拉也很好吃,這些菜如果讓我單

Rubia Gallega boneless rib eye,五分熟,服務員提醒可能有點chewy,實際上味道非常好,口感也恰到好處,不像wagyu beef那種油膩的軟嫩,是一種外面焦酥,內部軟嫩的口感,個人很喜歡。

配菜的紅椒很有味道,薯條脆脆的,沙拉也很好吃,這些菜如果讓我單點我也樂意。最後全部都被消滅的一乾二淨。

甜品點了bakes hot chocolate cake with candied orange, hazelnut, and chocolate cardamom ice cream. 烤熱巧蛋糕搭配巧克力雪糕,蛋糕烤得太棒了,靠近盤邊的一圈微微酥,內部無比軟嫩,搭配巧克力雪糕,瞬間被消滅完。

I recall trying rubia gallega steak back at Blue Butcher years ago and just falling in love with the breed for it’s exceptional depth in flavour. So I was THRILLED to hear that finally there’s a new place in hk that serves them!
Aged for a slightly shorter time of 20-days, the rubia gallega served here doesn’t have as much intensity in terms of those blue cheese/nutty notes, but still delivers a wonderfully rich flavour. Plus I must commend how incredibly tender and fine the meat is😻 This piece of steak def scores in both the texture and flavour columns! Plus it’s served with hand-cut fries, smokey sweet Piquillo peppers and some crispy butter lettuce. Just like the spanish way!💃🏻

Our vote goes to the 𝙤𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖 𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 ($135). The octopus slices are perfectly seasoned and just soso tender. And that potato cream underneath is absolutely TO DIE FOR!🤤

Unlike ordinary cheesecake, Rubia’s version is made with both cream cheesecake and BLUECHEESE! Now don’t be intimidated, cuz the bluecheese doesn’t overwhelm at all and is just SPOT ON, giving the cake another dimension in flavour. The only downside would be the whiskey ice cream which we thought wasn’t creamy enough, and had this strange bland and watery aftertaste😕 but the cheesecake itself surely makes up for it! Just look at how creamy it is‼️🤤

In short- lovely food, great vibes, cozy interiors, friendly staff, perfect for a casual date night/for a gathering with a bunch of friends💓 Thank you Chef @ and his team for serving us such an amazing meal!🙌🏼

Been to Rubia a few times since it’s opening in January and it has not let me down! Their staff is quite attentive and friendly, relaxed ambience and delicious food - I personally love the rib eye and tuna tartare! They serve from Spanish steak, huevos rotos (Broken eggs), shrimp, oysters to burgers and cheesecake! Super delicious food using fresh ingredients. Would recommended to anyone looking for a fabulous dining experience.

Warm Cheesecake, Whiskey ice cream
終於來到甜品,我個人受不了奶蘇味道,所以較喜歡前者的chocolate cake,雖然係cake,但質感介乎於布丁以及疏乎厘之間,甜度適中是我喜愛的。
而後者的暖cheese cake 配以威士忌雪糕,新鮮嘅配搭,雪糕上插有一支威士忌嘅道管,可以隨意將威士忌加在Cheese cake或是雪糕之上。
總結:一間有高質素的環境,食物,飲品以及五星級貼心的服務質量,價錢合理,位置方便,實屬蘇豪區少有的高評價西班牙餐廳。
