尋晚本來唔係黎食呢間,想去果間原來沒開,臨時臨急在open rice搵左呢間意大利菜。由於是夜下著超級大雨,餐廳裡只有一桌10人枱和我加朋友。坐低後侍應生即刻介紹today special. 有龍蝦餐及黑毛豬,由於對呢2樣興趣不大,於是看了看餐牌,點了一份羊膝及一份蜆天使麵。那份天使麵一般質素,唯一突出係D蜆比較肥美,份量略嫌少。至於我份羊膝份量足夠,但配菜(薯蓉及蔬菜)太少。羊膝味道ok酥味,質感幾軟。如果有mint sauce或mustard會好些。總括黎講水平一般,下次或會再試一次睇下係咪值得長期幫襯

四人餐,三個人食,都嚴重不夠。肉類更少得可憐。人均消費$290 ,用餐之後,還要去老麥!中伏!首先來個南瓜湯,碗大到不得了,湯只是一般。麵包卻是有驚喜,外脆內軟。🤗羅勒青醬扁意大利麵確實非常香,但份量不多。意式豬肉餃子配牛肉湯,餃子裏的豬肉少得可憐😰Pizza做得很好。👍值得一讚。春雞都很嫰,但四個人分不夠半隻春雞,太過分了吧。甜品:tiramisu & hazelnut Semi Freddo 好!其實這個應該是兩人餐,為何這樣小家?當我發覺食物不夠份量時已經太遲,因為他們上菜非常非常慢!失望!

羅勒青醬扁意大利麵確實非常香,但份量不多。意式豬肉餃子配牛肉湯,餃子裏的豬肉少得可憐😰

Pizza做得很好。👍值得一讚。春雞都很嫰,但四個人分不夠半隻春雞,太過分了吧。

甜品:tiramisu & hazelnut Semi Freddo 好!

其實這個應該是兩人餐,為何這樣小家?當我發覺食物不夠份量時已經太遲,因為他們上菜非常非常慢!失望!

這夜我們飲的啤酒,也是由意大利入口的Baladin有機啤酒。據店員介紹,Baladin在意大利擁有自家農場種大麥釀啤酒亦設有啤酒餐廳。品牌共推出20多款啤酒,並曾多次獲獎。目前在香港,應該只有在Si才能飲到這品牌的啤酒。

這客貌似意大利千層麵lasagna的「焗千層意大利茄子配水牛芝士及新鮮羅勒」($88) 其實是不含麵條和肉類的全素熱食。這裡的版本把意大利傳統菜式eggplant parmigiana改良,以層層薄切茄子夾著番茄汁、新鮮羅勒、橄欖油和mozzarella 芝士,伴以加入了紅蘿蔔和芹菜一起煮過的意大利茄汁,味道豐富,甜美得來相當自然。感覺健康又美味的一道菜,大推介!

平日吃的意大利麵糰gnocchi都是用薯粉做,Si這裡的「自家製有機小麥Gnocchi配Piennolo醃茄醬及Monaco Provolone芝士」($168),只用小麥粉,不加薯粉,吃起來煙煙韌韌,很有咬口,而且吃起來有討好的淡淡煙燻香。一問之下才知道原來店方這自家製的Gnocchi是用了由意大利當地麵包師傅焊焗過的有機小麥粉而製成,難怪。簡簡單單以番茄醬汁輕輕調味,整體來說不錯。

繼上次在這𥚃晩膳,已有好一段時間没有來。舌頭上曾停留過那些美妙的味道,驅使我再想起這店 -- Si Simply Italian。喜歡它的美食,新鲜食材,獨特菜式,充滿熱誠的製作,熱切的款待。是晚除了重覆order之前吃過的菜式外,今次還發現了有新的Organic Menu,當然一定要試啦!而當中我選了自家製罗勒青酱意大利麵餅,用“獨特清新”來形容它最好不過,大厨巧妙地用了香脆的松子仁配麵餅去提升食物的口感和層次,青酱那种香而不腻的味道,配合得天衣無缝。大厨還跟我説這道菜式是他獨有的製作,全港只有他獨有,心𥚃不禁漸漸自喜,覺得自己眼光也不錯

主菜極度推介「焗千層意大利茄子配水牛芝士」($88),eggplant parmigiana係一道好傳統嘅意菜,同一般做法唔同,餐廳相反將茄子薄切,沾上薄薄麵粉,配以新鮮意大利蕃茄同水牛芝士整成千層再焗,口感唔覺膩之餘,仲食到每層茄子嘅香脆,清甜蕃茄同香濃芝士味再為呢道菜加分!Must try dish!

其他意菜餐廳較少有嘅牛骨髓呢度都有,價錢親民而且份量足。呢個「牛仔骨髓番紅花意大利飯」賣相非常特別,除咗中間嚿牛骨髓,risotto都用番紅花同牛骨髓嘅湯烹調,每啖飯都食到陣陣牛香,口感又夠彈牙,飯面仲擺咗幾片金箔裝飾,$178真係好抵食!

最後點埋大廚親手炮製嘅鳥結糖,質感非常軟熟,唔會太痴牙,糖面仲加上一片薄薄威化,配埋香口果仁,口感非常豐富!今餐真係大滿足,難得搵到間性價比咁高嘅意大利餐廳,材料仲要全部由意大利入口,夠哂正宗原味!下次晚餐都可以再嚟一試!

住喺荔枝角附近的街坊都知道, D2 Place 開咗好多新食店, 今期我哋試D2 place第二期的意大利餐廳...餐廳佈局大方,在地面上容易找到,商場有carpark方便駕車人士。新店開槍而家有happy hour優惠, 但餐廳略嫌光猛, 適合三五知己聚會但浪漫約會就不夠浪漫了。Starter:Italian red pawn carpaccio with lemon olive oil and fresh herbs 呢個做法幾特別之前未試過咁樣食, 食法新鮮再加檸檬汁味道幾得意,可以一試。US 8oz Grilled rib eye 主食其實我哋都有叫意粉, 個意粉太好食完全唔記得影相, 而已意粉的軟硬度和彈牙程度計, 應該堅係手拉意粉,口感程度可媲美在意大利的意粉餐廳。 雖然份量少啲但貴精不貴多。 至於8安士牛扒, 好食但唔夠特別, 黎意大利餐廳一定首選意粉。

Italian red prawn carpaccio with lemon olive oil and fresh herbs ($188) - There's only a handful of appetizers (including soup) on the menu so we were only able to pick one out of the bunch. The red prawn carpaccio was an easy choice for a seafood lover like me and early signs indicated that I have made the right move. Look at that wonderful presentation!

But looks can be deceiving sometimes. I thought this was pretty decent (it looked a bit better than it tasted to be honest) but a bit more acidity would have brought it to another level (Grade: 2.5/5).

Egg tagliolini with sea urchin cream sauce and fresh parley ($188) - Was it just me or everything tasted a little bland tonight?

Well, the homemade egg tagliolini was really nice but the sea urchin cream sauce was a bit light. Perhaps a little too light for the tagliolini. And seriously, let's have a little more sea urchin please coz this portion was tough to share among the two of us (Grade: 3/5).

Risotto with fresh Italian porcini mushroom and parmigiano ($148) - This was meant to be a little bland I guess with parmigiano and fresh porcini mushroom leading the charge. The risotto was good with just the right amount of cheesiness. Not bad (Grade: 3.5/5).

Homemade Tiramisu ($78) - I was absolutely stuffed but dessert was something I could never turn down. This tiramisu was quite disappointing though. For starters, the ladyfingers were way too crunchy for me (and my teeth). I love tiramisu which is soft and moist so this wasn't working for me (Grade: 2/5).

They have got some solid homemade pasta and their risotto was good. Both of them were worth a punt but the rest of the dishes probably require some fine tuning if you ask me.

My first visit to the D2 Place area was at Greater China Club. Now they have expanded to Phase 2 with a lot more eateries so we decided to check it out for a quick lunch on our day off. This new restaurant has a very beautiful exterior, feels contemporary and is so packed during the lunch hour. Offering a lunch set menu which costs a great deal with an appetizer, a main course and homemade dessert to finish; a list of classic Italian food are also available during dinner time.

We start by having a some sourdough with the classic combination of balsamic vinegar and extra-virgin olive oil. Followed by our appetizers, the baked potato cake made with finely diced Italian luncheon meat, crispy cheese topping, very soft and delicate. The crabmeat salad has a great amount of fresh crab meat, tossed in mayonnaise, simple and delicious.

At first I’m a bit reluctant to order a pasta dish because I always prefer protein over carbs, but surprisingly, the penne with truffle sauce is perfectly excelled with a creamy tomato mushroom sauce and the penne pasta is excellently al dente.

This Great Italian Restaurant is hidden in lai chi kok. The coincidence is that I knew the Italian Chef previously, and I could feel his touch in the dishes.The flavour in the dishes are so balanced and the quality of the ingredients is a top, I guess are imported from Italy.We will come back to try more dishes and desserts

I must say I am really envious of the people at LCK because D2 and all these hip restaurants were not around years ago.It is impressive to see all these changes while some pathetic places like Kwaihing are still the same with the same crappy restaurants.Started with the fruit punch and virgin bloody Mary. Begin with a few starters which looked good on IG.

The Burrata from Andria with tomato and salad was very creamy and its texture was very stringy too.

The Italian venison served with polenta mash is a must order because the Venison is very strong in taste yet the meat is soft and supple.
The polenta mash tasted like congee.

當晚我同老公經過, 見到個menu及環境便入去試試. 我老公係意大利人(米蘭),我在意大利米蘭亦住了10年. 因為我們經常吃到令人失望的意大利菜,所以我老公沒有什麼期待. 我知道他好想食osso-buco,見到menu有所以我叫了給他吃, 但上枱的只有黃飯沒有osso-buco (即係牛骨 - 其實真正的是連肉的,所以報紙上咗個都唔係真係正宗). FINE - 有時候你會話: 咪咁老土成日要食到好"正宗",但係呢味菜式全完無咗個骨係咪好有問題?牛骨乃精髓所在啊... 我哋問waiter, 佢走入廚房,回來後答案係: "以前我哋係將個骨放係中間的,但後來style改咗,現在it is smelt inside." 我同老公真係唔知點反應, smelt inside? ! 點樣可以smelt? 當晚吃其他東西都無期望中的味道: 1. 黃飯, 應該唔係用上湯的 (意大利人的味覺). 2. 沙丁魚無味 , 我哋order前已問佢哋係新鮮或係鑵頭貨,佢哋話係新鮮來港. 3. 今日我在報紙上睇到有關"SI"的訪問, 無名火起....

我知道要造好味的意菜係貴的, 因為材料本身就貴,所以若餐廳係想做好自己,咁起碼要真心誠意去做,但如果menu上寫的同上枱的東西是兩回事就很不知所謂. 
To the italian chef: delusione totale, spero che sa cosa e' un rispetto per le persone che mangiano nella  ristorante. un risotto con osso-buco deve essere esiste osso-buco, non e' un decorazione, non e' una cosa che scritta nel menu.

偶然覓食走過D2 Place, 發現了一間環境不錯的意大利菜舘, 抱著碰碰運氣的心情,跟老公試了一次晚飯,沒想到ㄧ開始就被那間潔卻又精心編排的menu吸引,估不到吃完幾道頭盤,我倆巳決定要下周再來吃晚餐。第二周當我們再次到訪比上次有更多驚喜,是次我們再encore 水牛芝士蕃茄, 跟住又order左意大利八爪魚英嘴豆酱,仲有 italian sandines, 沒想到這restarant的chef竟肯選用Italy地道食材, 從menu 中每度菜的design,已看出the Chef’s Passion on Food, 特别推介意大利紅蝦珍珠pasta, 红蝦的鹹鲜味與煙靭的pasta口感,在我口内不停打轉, 配合得天衣無縫,叫人吃出幸福的感覺

)。  有好多人認為一間餐廳成敗取決於食物或者個大廚, 但其實要人客由頭到腳都咁享受, 前線服務係靈魂之窗。
成餐飯最深印象係唔夠熱既pasta。 明顯係兜得唔夠均勻(有D熱有D暖)。  兩碟pasta都係咁, 特別係個單點既spaghetti kumit ($228), 煮過耐太林太稔口, 入面既聖子都幾腥.  後來有位應該係manager既小姐問我地滿唔滿意我地既晚餐, 我地向佢反映........佢話當晚大廚放假, 係2廚煮既(明白晒
).....所以呢我地唔係無矢放的架........!!!  但佢都好sincere, 為左多謝我地勇於比意見請我地4個飲咖啡☕  好啦, 咁都可以填補少少不足既。  另一樣比較印象深刻既係甜品tiramisu.  唔知係唔係意大利傳統recipe, 但係個啡色既lady finger好奇怪
。  下層索到espresso果度就好soggy, 上層就好硬, 賣相, 口感及味道不佳。
值得一讚既係自家焗制餐包又好味而且任添, 好大方
。  其他食物就中規中矩, 坦白講唔太impress。  歐式裝修既SSI地方算係好坐, 而家只欠software, 如果service方面做得舒服D pro D, 食物質素方面再提高就會好得多。  以現在既質素o黎講一碟pasta收2百, 一個dessert又一百, 性價比低, 我比6.5分, 有待大大改善。

題外話/補充資料: 個coffee mug可能要改良一下, 4個人得我一個可以穿到隻手指入杯耳度. 穿唔到既要攞住個杯身.

大老闆約我地部門lunch meeting,大家都緊張起黎,未試過同老闆同枱食飯,大佬話去D2 Two,點名叫我諗⋯⋯首要要符合老闆身分,意大利菜夠高層喇啩~~~一入店有外國人招呼,全英文餐牌,顧客亦多洋人,八人長餐枱,環境好似置身外國般。前菜點了水牛芝士蕃茄。。得啲蕃茄湯,揾粒茄夾住芝士食都無,芝士估計自家製份量十足,好在唔膩。老闆不停refill麵包麵包的確好味,熱至辣手,醮橄欖油、醋,回味無窮。主食要了牛肩肉入哂味好淋,西餐味醬汁~我唔識形容。甜品橙味蛋糕食唔出橙味且略甜,失望。還有餐飲莫卡咖啡,比較多奶,朱古力味欠奉,再一次失望

We had a very enjoyable night celebrating the birthday of my friend. Excellent imaginative food, a very convivial environment, and pleasant friendly service made it an occasion to remember. We ordered two appetisers; Italian octopus and Italian eggplant (parmigiana). The large octopus tentacle was a surprise as you rarely see it in Hong Kong. We had a very enjoyable night celebrating the birthday of my friend. Excellent imaginative food, a very convivial environment, and pleasant friendly service made it an occasion to remember. We ordered two appetisers; Italian octopus and Italian eggplant (parmigiana). The large octopus tentacle was a surprise as you rarely see it in Hong Kong. It was quite a challenge to eat it all, fortunately it was very fresh and tasty when matched with a chickpea and thyme sauce which enhanced the fresh flavour. The parmigiana was well balanced with the aubergine overpowered by the cheese, a subtle starter. For our main course, we had grilled Italian spring chicken and grilled Italian sea bass. The chicken was soft and well cooked moist and full of taste with just enough potatoes and vegetables to complete the meal (unlike most Italian restaurants with their tiny portions). The sea bass was very fresh, very well cooked with a perfect balance of moist flesh with crispy skin. The black olive sauce was an excellent complement to the sea bass, enhancing the fresh taste. Lastly, for our dessert, I had my favourite dessert semifredo which differed from the previous delights by being melting in mouth. Its taste was absolutely super. My friend chose the choux pastry balls with cream and a rich dark chocolate sauce, very tasty and well worth the extra calories. Chef Massimo is as usual a guarantee of amazing food. Reasonable price with high quality food! My only quibble was the measure of wine which was far too small for the price, a bit of a rip off but easily rectified. Definitely, we will go again.
