It was like a warm hug for the soul! 🍲 Then came the showstopper: a platter of grilled eel, suckling pig, and Spanish Iberico pork, all prepared in Chinese BBQ style. The flavors were out of this world! 🤤Next up, we indulged in the heavenly braised abalone, goose web, and mushroom. The combination of textures and flavors was pure perfection. 🍄 The deep-fried prawns with honey citron sauce were a delightful treat, crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside. 😋We also loved the tender stewed chicken with ginger and shallot. 我地去開附近就試下去呢間餐廳。餐廳樓下就有露天停車場，任何消費free 2小時，之後就$48/小時。tea time時間，本來想飲杯野食件蛋糕，但單件蛋糕同muffin 都唔太啱食。而2人tea set 又太多，我地啱啱食完野，食唔落。我地就每人叫杯飲品當坐下。叫咗一杯breakfast tea$48同鐵觀音$48。breakfast tea係用twining 茶包，而鐵觀音係用散茶葉，茶葉唔算多，所以中式茶味較淡。環境呢度幾大，坐得舒服。服務又好。下次就試下下午茶。

My friend and I pre-bought their afternoon tea set for two online. The cafe was on the 8/F of a boutique hotel at 2 McDonald Road. We visited the nearby Biological and Botanical Garden before having our tea at the cafe. There’s an exit in the park to McDonald Road; very convenient. The cafe was spacious with a scenic view of the Mid-Levels. The staff were all very professional. When our tea set arrived, we enjoyed every bit of the food. We had spent a wonderful time chatting and eating! What an awesome experience!

The savoury items were quite good overall, especially the fried chicken in Korean citron and honey sauce. The bun for the slider would be better if it’s hot. It said in the menu that it’s wagyu beef but since it’s cooked well done, it’s hard to tell. The macarons were on the sweet side as the usual macarons you could get elsewhere. The only item that I didn’t like was the matcha Swiss roll with red beans as it tasted more like jasmine tea than matcha.Too bad that the building exterior is under construction and the best seats in the restaurant had been blocked by a green veil. We walked in and managed to get a table by the window that was just next to the green veil.

📍 café bar on 8 (半山)半山麥當勞道2號8樓甜食嘅冷盤，一送上黎打開蓋已經仙氣飄飄 ，相當吸引！雖然冇我感覺中綠野仙蹤嘅特色，但每款小甜食食落口都有幸福童話感～都唔會太甜太漏，最中意其中嘅士多啤梨撻 好正🤩 ！而任食嘅自取部分，都有好多唔花款 burger仔真係勁厚牛肉，好好食！仲可以自己整爆谷、棉花糖、朱古力噴泉 食得又玩得🤪～係近排食過暫時最好食又坐自在嘅tea，而且坐位寬敞，真係享受的一天！
