Tarts were sooo good I couldn’t help but finish two in one sitting! (Mind you, i was only going to take one bite to taste it!)The pastry is SOOOOOOO crispy and DELICIOUSLY flakey, it was just so crisp! It didn’t taste oily either. Maybe they just launched these products?!
Their flavours were unique too, I randomly walked by this store after dinner and popped in.
They had 3 flavour remaining. I originally was just going to buy 1 but the lady encouraged I try all 3 flavours they had left.
1. Lychee rose egg tart
2. Chocolate filled egg tart
3. Pistachio egg tart
Their skin fell off like super thin flakes of pastry like flower petals and the tarts are shaped like a flower too! Each had a bite of chocolate hidden inside the base of the egg part, such a thoughtful, delicious touch!
$15 per the two special flavours, $10 for their classic chocolate filled egg tart= $40 total
This shop is definitely one to watch out for, dare I say, a top contender for the modern take of classic Hong Kong egg tart with a twist. This may just be the one to beat! (imo: better and more versatile than Bakehouse even!?)
This place is going to blow up. Don’t walk, run.
