The little block of Solo shops in Causeway Bay has now sprouted up a bunch of tiny coffee shops run by one barista. All serving their own roasted beans. I visited a few previously and now I try out another.This is Be Coffee. It's very tiny but there are a few seats available. Mostly facing the barista so there is a lot of one on one. This is Be Coffee. It's very tiny but there are a few seats available. Mostly facing the barista so there is a lot of one on one. The menu is in English only. There is no Chinese and no 10% service charge. They offer a variety of coffee along with non coffee drinks as well. They do not serve any food. So, you're basically here for a one on one experience with the barista.
I ordered a latte ($38). Nice latte art. The ratio of milk to espresso was good and it smelled strong. A slight fruitiness to it but it was quite alright. It came with a glass of water to clense the palate beforehand.
Nice and quiet place that does sometimes get bit busy. Barista was friendly and chatty as well.
