Located in the bustling heart of Tsim Sha Tsui as its Hong Kong outpost, 𝐊𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐢 is a well-known specialist restaurant chain in Japan with 10 outlets, highlighting their seasonal omakase-style kushiage of delicately fried meat and vegetables coated in the lightest batter; presenting a casual yet always exquisite Japanese dining culture.

Kushiage, which also know as Kushikatsu, is an authentic Japanese dish of deep-fried skewered meat and vegetables. In Japanese, kushi refers to the skewers used while katsu means a deep-fried cutlet of meat.

Specially curated and prepared by a skilled culinary team of veteran Japanese chefs, featuring top-notch Kushiage like Wagyu Sirloin with Truffle Sauce (incredibly tender and succulent!), Angel Shrimp, Mackerel with White Sesame, Sangen Pork Tenderloin, Salmon with Salmon Roe.

Followed by their Specialties Homemade Mochi Tofu as a palate cleanser, along with another extensive course of Kushiage including Kelp with Herring Roe, Yellowtail Fish with Yuzu, Grilled Eel, Crab Gratin, Shiitake with Special Minced Meat, Abalone, and Foie Gras (our all time fav!)
Then topped off the wholesome dining experience with Inaniwa Udon and Monaka Ice Cream; and had a wonderful chat with the chef!
