For our mains, we ordered the Sushi Platter with 8 pcs. The sushi was fresh and the rice was well-seasoned. It satisfied our sushi craving.
Rounding out the meal, the Bossam was a true highlight. This Korean-style braised pork collar was meltingly tender, with a wonderfully complex flavour profile. It was served with an array of fresh accompaniments, like kimchi and lettuce wraps to customise each bite.
And two cocktails we had the pleasure of trying - Kung Fu Pandan and My Sweetheart.
Kung Fu Pandan - earthy, grassy notes with the balance of sweetness and sourness while adding a salty kick. The whole thing is just so well-balanced and easy to drink.
My Sweetheart - Okay, this one's just flat-out delightful. The rose and strawberry flavours give this lovely, delicate floral aroma and soft texture with fruity sweetness. But what I love most is how the lemon keeps everything nice and crisp!
The service at WAKARAN was attentive and friendly. The cozy vibe also added to the overall dining experience.
