AOAO is a way different pub located in Central, which offers fusion Japanese and Western cuisine. Despite the high price, the food and service quality are certainly worth a visit. 👍🏿Shredded Celtuce Salad $68 (8/10)
Originally I thought it was sth like radish, but I found that celtuce is different from radish after googling🤣
Slightly seasoned with soy sauce, the sliced cetluce was fresh and crunchy. The salmon roe and grated daikon on top brought some salty flavors, which added colour to the whole salad. It was a great appetizer to reset ur taste buds!

The aroma was really good as it was slightly seared. Soft and silk pumpkin coated with crunchy caramel. Still, the sweetness of pumpkin was natural instead of cloying.

👍🏿Charcoal grilled eel $288 (9.5/10)
Definitely the highlighted item of the whole meal!!🤤The aroma was so good after charcoaled. The fish skin was in a crisp yet moist exterior yielding to a succulent interior. The flesh was chewy but tender, and super juicy!! I was impressed by that despite not being an advert eel lover.

👍🏿A4 Wagyu Cutlet Charcoal Sando $328 (9/10)
This item should be the one that attracts u the most right?🤭The A4 Wagyu cutlet was deep-fried perfectly with a crispy layer. The flesh was surely tender and succulent. Although it did not “melt” in my mouth, I was still satisfied with the provision of an immensely fragrant beef flavor. The two slices of charcoal bread were to help get rid of the greasiness of Wagyu, which also provided textural contrast. Some mayonnaise was added and made the whole Sando more savoury.

👍🏿Double Fromage Cheesecake $68 (9/10)
Always end up the meal with some desserts.🥰The upper part of this cheesecake was soft and silky, not to mention it was so creamy like Japanese-style cheesecake. The middle part was like American-style cheesecake, with a more thick and solid texture, which offered a strong cheese flavor. The lower part was a cookie base. U should try it if u are into a multitude of textures!

The red bean was sweet and smooth. Wrapped with a chewy mochi, the Daifuku offered a solid taste. However, I thought that was a little bit too sweet. It would be great if the amount of sugar was reduced but overall was still sound.

Highly recommend u to check this out if u are craving for some fusion Japanese cuisine. It is a pretty good place for celebration despite its high price. Looking forward to the next visit🥰
