I have not dined here for many years, but we decided to come on Saturday lunch time and gosh was it busy. There definitely was not enough staff to deal with the lunch time rush. We ordered the standard lunch sets that come with a starter and drink. We chose the cream of mushroom soup for the starter and it was nice, hot & creamy with a deep mushroom flavour. It was accompanied by bread rolls, but they forgot the butter and we could not get hold of anyone to ask for it. For the mains we ordere

For the mains we ordered the spaghetti bolognaise which was ok and it arrived freshly made piping hot, but it nothing special to brag about, it is similar to what one could make at home. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza it was tough to cut as the crust was tough, and it was very oily from the cheese and pepperoni, obviously it was tasty with so much oil, but not good for the arteries.
We ordered ice lemon teas for our drinks and were glad we could get hold of a waiter quickly to pay the bill and leave. I think next time we will order from the more expensive lunch set menu with oysters and lobster as it would be better, but we were pressed for time, but we will be back again, maybe dinner service.
