First I have to apologise to type in both English and Chinese (as myself is not a good Chinese typist)Me and my friends often go to 發記to have dinner ... As I come from a 潮洲family most of the time I have to make the order as my friends' request ("we want 潮洲food not 上海food")Really this is a "minus" point for 發記, they should have a separate menu for all the 潮洲delicacies.Just a friendly reminder for some reviewers regarding to 潮州三寶and 粥.No matter which 潮州打冷you go to, when you order 潮州三寶you will have

Just a friendly reminder for some reviewers regarding to 潮州三寶and 粥.
No matter which 潮州打冷you go to, when you order 潮州三寶you will have 花生,菜甫,咸酸菜. Why's this? Because nearly every 潮洲family will have these with 潮州粥. 花生,菜甫,咸酸菜they belong to the staple diet of 潮州人.
Regarding to 粥, I agree with 相爺. You shouldn't complain if you do not know what 潮州粥really is (Just like complaining why a tiramisu tastes like a stale cake with alcohol taste ...)
