I recently had the opportunity to dine at Mint & Basil, a charming restaurant that offers a delightful fusion of Thai and Indian cuisine. On this occasion, we decided to explore their Thai offerings, and we were not disappointed.
To start our meal, we ordered the Tom Yum Noodles and the Squid in Belacan Sauce. The Tom Yum Noodles were a highlight—rich and fragrant, with a perfect balance of spicy and sour flavors. The broth was infused with fresh herbs and spices, making each spoonful a comforting experience. The squid, served in a savory Belacan sauce, was a treat. It was tender and beautifully complemented by the bold flavors of the sauce, which added a delightful kick.
For our main dish, we opted for the Nua Yang Takrai. This grilled beef dish was absolutely delicious, featuring succulent slices of meat infused with the aromatic essence of lemongrass. The accompanying dipping sauce provided a zesty contrast that enhanced the overall flavor profile.
To accompany our meal, we chose two refreshing drinks: Yellow Sky and Mange Blast. The Yellow Sky was a light, citrusy beverage that perfectly complemented the spiciness of our dishes, while the Mange Blast was a sweet, fruity treat that added a fun twist to our dining experience.
