It was a weekday afternoon when I dropped in this lovely coffee shop to wind down for a bit between meetings.Having walked past quite a few times and eventually I was here.I ordered a Iunch set of pesto chicken with tomato and mozzarella cheese panini and a skimmed matcha latte without sugar. The set was reasonably priced - $87 for a sandwich and coffee of large size.The generously portioned chicken breast nestled between the crunch panini bread. It was a weekday afternoon when I dropped in this lovely coffee shop to wind down for a bit between meetings.
Having walked past quite a few times and eventually I was here.
I ordered a Iunch set of pesto chicken with tomato and mozzarella cheese panini
and a skimmed matcha latte without sugar. The set was reasonably priced - $87 for a sandwich and coffee of large size.
The generously portioned chicken breast nestled between the crunch panini bread. The chicken breast was succululent and unexpectedly flavourful. I was not much a pesto person but this one here was light enough to to just bring out the umami flavour of the protein.
What I particularly liked about this sandwich was the crunchy bit on the outside of the panini while the inside was not really soggy.
The matcha latte tasted earthy and smooth. It was not too foamy with the skimmed milk for which I have a soft spot. I was a tad disappointed with the latte art thought as I was expecting those virally shown on social media. Haha. But all in all the whole thing was pleasant.
What made my experience even more pleasurable was the super friendly service. The staff was always ready to help - from ordering at the counter till I left the cafe. A staff member even came by to reconfirm I could access their Wi-Fi service when I asked for the code.
Nice experience and will come back again.
