I know that this restaurant does tea-sets at a cheaper price between 2-6 pm and since we haven’t had a big lunch today, our unanimous decision was to come here for an early dinner.

After having gone for something hot, it’s of course wise to get something on the colder side! We went for the Pork Chop, Chicken Wing & Vietnamese Sausage Cold Vermicelli ($60), again with a bunch of toppings for sharing. How generous of them to give us a giant pork, we happily dug our way through the bowl and again couldn’t be happier because the vinegary and chilly sauce was the perfect match with cold vermicelli.

We wanted something a little spicy, so the first thing that caught our eyes was the Sliced Beef Brisket, Pork Shank, Vietnamese Sausage & Beef Ball Vermicelli Pho ($58). The variety of toppings was amazing and they were basking in the soup, same for the vermicelli. Also, anyone who is infatuated with basil will be a fan of this bowl, together with the refreshing taste of lemon grass and a tincture of spice. Somehow we did feel that the soup was a little greasy and it got us a bit thirsty afterwards, so please don’t drink the soup!

Feeling peckish, we also ordered the Crab Cake as a side which was offer at a lower price with a set ($28). To be frank, the portion really was too small so the cake looked squished together. It ended up having 4 sharing so 2 each for us. We gathered that it’s better to order the dish bowls rather than the sides even though the cake tasted alright but it’s likely not worth the price.
