For starters, we ordered 夫妻肺片, one of my favourite dishes. This one is just the perfect dish for me as it contained more tendon and less meat. The dish wasn’t too spicy, but the taste and flavouring were just right and it has been one of the best 夫妻肺片 I’ve had in a while.

黃金淮山葵 $105
Never had I thought that okra and yam would be such great friends with salted egg yolk! Every pieces of the dish was filled with egg yolk yet it was not overpowering. Easily finished the whole dish in no time.

Let’s not go into the freshness of fish as that’s what you’d expect from a typically dish in such restaurant. But every detail of this dish was so well executed, and I also drank the soup thoroughly as it was so spicy and not crazily spicy and hurting my throat.

Oh god, more egg yolks! The portion was so generous but it’s more suitable to 4 people or above as it felt quite too much towards the end. However, I must say that I was so satisfied after having it.

What’s a meal without a proper meal of veggies? Despite how strong favoured this is, I still felt much healthier having it, not to mention how great it tastes.
Overall, I enjoyed the ambience and food at 1935 so much. The price is definitely on the expensive side but the quality speaks it all, I’ll definitely be back
