Came here a little while ago.  The restaurant is fairy standard for omakase type dining, though the ambiance is definitely more western. In most of Hong Kong's omakase restaurants, you kind of have a vibe that's a little more Japanese in feel; how would I describe this? The restaurant is fairy standard for omakase type dining, though the ambiance is definitely more western. In most of Hong Kong's omakase restaurants, you kind of have a vibe that's a little more Japanese in feel; how would I describe this? I would say in general the lighting is a little more bright, the chefs are often Japanese, and there is more of a emphasis on the presentation when they do the cooking.  The restaurant requires a credit card to make a booking, with a $200 no show fee, which is kind of annoying but I also get it.

The food is not bad. You should be mindful of the fact though that they have a minimum charge of $750 pp, so if you come with two, be mindful that your bill is going to be no less than $1650 HKD (when you include service charge). In addition, they don't provide tap water (which I think is a bad move), so if you get something to drink you're looking at additional charges. If you get sake, most bottles run 300 -500, so you're probably looking at something close to $2000+ for two people. They actually ran out of the sake we wanted, so... yeah.  The food is not bad. If you get the standard omakase (there is also a premium omakase), you get a wide range of food, including chicken, beef, vegetables, oysters, noodles, grilled fish, and dessert. The five spice flavored ice cream is an interesting concept but it's probably not for me, so maybe they can rethink this dish.

Overall I'd say the place is just about average. I don't have any issues with coming back if I HAD to eat in this area and it HAD to be Japanese food, but I don't think I would be particularly motivated either.
