I've been complaining to godbro XO that I haven't been on the Western extension of the Island MTR line since it commenced service over a year ago, so to stop my whining, XO went with me to Kennedy Town and picked out a French restaurant to try since he knows French is my favorite cuisine!Bistronomique is located right on the waterfront, and it has a perfect view of the harbor. Bistronomique is located right on the waterfront, and it has a perfect view of the harbor. This view reminds me of the lyrics... 她常到海旁在唱在唱... but of course, XO and I are not here to sing but rather to eat. We each started with a drink, and I opted for a Peach Daiquiri, which was not as sour as the usual daiquiris, and I really liked the fresh sweet peach flavor.

XO had another appetizer that was composed mostly of pork, so I only tried a little bit of that and moved on to my onion soup.
Of course I had to order the onion soup, it's one of my favorites, and I love it when it's authentic!

For the main course, XO and I decided to split the Pigeon Fricassee w/ black truffle, morel, foie gras. Good thing we decided to split the dish as it was quite big.

Although it's quite annoying that I kept whining to godbro XO about going to Kennedy Town to ride the Western extension of the MTR Island line, I'm kind of glad I did because we found Bistronomique, which is a gem on the waterfront!
