朋友介紹太爺雞,好似好好食,分店在香港島,所以叫了外賣,在九龍那裡拿。當然要了主打太爺雞,還有豬手,酸辣青瓜等前菜,包装很好,没有漏汁。太爺雞味道算幾好,雖然没有很重雞味,算是很滑。估計都不會用新鲜雞來製作,但價格也很划算。另外,豬手算是多肉,唔係剩係得骨頭,其實,我本人喜歡啖啖肉,有弹牙的骨膠原口感,所以,這次豬手尚算合格。反觀,是次前菜如青瓜勁辣,這個可沒有想到。整體食物質素和包装盒也很好,服務遞送仍没有什麽不如意事發生,過了一段時間會再試。

東大街呢一條食街簡直係美食如云。中餐嘅選擇都有好多款今日就食咗呢一間太爺雞。外母食中餐最鍾意食雞,所以呢一間係首選。星期六夜晚大約6:45嚟到,要排隊等一陣間先有得入去呢度最出名係太爺雞所以叫咗半隻試一試。佢呢一隻雞又真係整得幾好味雞身好滑,淡淡的豉油香味更加能帶出雞味。餐牌上面仲有其他雞款可以選擇。跟住再叫多咗個粟米羹同埋幾款小菜。魚香茄子煲、香煎墨魚餅、薑蔥蠔仔煲。小菜煮得惹味及好有鑊氣。每一個小菜都冇令我地失望。埋單都係$500左右,東大街抵食之選!

去 筲箕灣做野,十點由元朗去到筲箕灣,去到都十一點半。最衰仲未搵到個地盤係邊,都係食左野先,咁啱路邊又有車位,啦啦聲泊好先。一落車見到太爺鷄,門口掛住啲油鷄又真係好好色水,加埋有個阿婆話好正架真係!咪入去試下囉。由於小弟食完早餐無耐,叫唔落鷄,所以叫左碗牛筋腩河,牛筋就真係幾正,夠林夠入味,好有骨膠原感覺,牛腩都好香好入味。係個河粉普通左D。佢叫得太爺雞,當然出名比人叫鷄啦,我同事佢地就叫左雞,我緊係唔好執輸,拎舊嚟試下,果然夠香夠滑,唔怪得阿婆極力介紹。

I can say 太爺雞 is one of the restaurants that survives through the years.This time I ordered 3 dishes and shared with my two other friends. First one is the famous 太爺雞 which is actually soy sauce chicken, nice and sweet chicken, not too sour, worth being the signature dish. 探朋友黎到港島,經介紹之下特登尋味到東大街,有不少美食店。其中呢間中菜餐廳係叫餸食飯,最為出色既係食雞。太爺豬手係冷盤,蒜味好重,似微辣既紅油抄手既醬汁,豬手爽口惹味招牌太爺雞即係豉油雞。好野!有雞脾食真係唔可以睇少呢碟碟頭飯。雞肉肥美嫩滑,雞皮好有色澤勁入味,滷水醬汁甜甜地,夾少少葱油,好食到停唔到口跟餐送大大碗眉豆雞腳蓮藕瘦肉湯,材料十足,不加味精,絕對係住家湯川芎白芷魚頭湯可能要燉既關係,最遲出場。藥材味濃,連魚頭既骨都煲到稔到一咬即碎,超足料,非常有誠意!
