多年來在我的心水搵食名單中,這間早已名列榜中,但十多年來始終一直未有到訪過的「珠江酒家」可算是數一數二其中一間讓自己充滿期待的老牌食肆。等待了十多年,這一次,相熟朋友竟然在這裡搞飯局,知道後,不用多想,立刻報名,三星期後,終於一試。這酒家的店門口,其實我已不知經過過多少遍,單看其充滿歷史感的門面,實在很像澳門又或是大陸的某些老店子,像這樣的老牌食店,在香港,早已買少見少,實在值得好好珍惜。酒家共有兩層,朋友預早數星期訂下的大檯是在樓上,看那環境,好像沒有我在之前一向聽說的那麼差,看來都算乾淨,地下既無油污,四處也沒蒙塵。聽朋友說,自從肺炎疫情爆發之後,這裡可能比以往來得注重衛生,所以往日欠佳的環境,今天已變得好多了。對從不曾來過這裡吃飯的我,雖然無從比較,也覺得這是一件好事。這裡最吸引我的,當然是那些多年來得到不少食客好評的菜式,看牆上密密麻麻地張貼著,用不同顏色色紙寫下的菜式,既有傳統的,又有創新的,而且價錢經濟而不昂貴,每道菜都份量十足,大大碟的,這夜我們一行九人,六男三女,一共吃了十多道水準奇高的菜式,當中大部分都是膽固醇之友,連同飲品,又啤酒、又汽水,埋單計數,每人竟然三百元也

說這晚我們所吃的絕大部分都是膽固醇之友是一點沒錯的,多得負責點菜的朋友,連一碟青菜也沒叫,這晚吃的大部分菜式的膽固醇含金量都非常高,幸好,我在參與這場難得的飯局前早已決定把健康暫時豁出去,打算在這晚放縱一番,才能在沒有罪惡感下捧腹而回,盡興而歸。

餐牌中有多款主廚推薦菜式,當然不得不試。

這夜其中一道我最喜歡的菜式「豉油王鵝腸」($108),鵝腸新鮮肥美,沒有遷就部分注重健康客人的要求而把鵝腸內的所有脂膏去掉,簡單的豉油王調味,已令它成為上佳的小食,即使配角的爽口芽菜,沾了豉油汁後,同樣好吃,不應錯過。

重頭戲之一的「豬雜蝴蝶腩煲」($328)大大一煲,煲裡面的蝴蝶腩其實是包覆著豬肺的部位,是肉和筋膜,並不是內臟,本應不太 heavy,但加上了豬雜之後,可就是另一種講法了。這煲的蝴蝶腩夠多而大件,口感也不錯,蘸以醬油後吃,感覺都不錯,特別是連著筋膜的部分,更是特別好吃。至於豬雜,這晚化身為無畏勇士的我,也吃了一點呢!

另一煲仔菜「花雕醉雞煲」($238/一隻)原來雞和煲是分開上桌的,原隻雞項斤兩十足,煲內的材料也頗豐富,才二百元多些,實在十分抵食。邅雞煲的花雕酒味雖不如預期中那麼濃烈,但雞件十分嫩滑,即使雞胸部位也不覺粗嚡,雞翼和雞髀位就更不待言了。

還有更邪惡的,是 Off Menu,友人預早訂下的「蒜芯炒豬雜」(價錢不詳)。這炒豬雜原來用了三副豬雜爆炒,豬膶、豬腰、豬粉腸,豬心......盡是邪惡之物,但味道既好,又夠鑊氣,配以嫩而無渣的蒜芯,實在吸引,邪惡便邪惡吧,我喜歡。

這間堪稱為麻甩天堂,座上客十居其九都是豪邁壯漢,每張桌上幾乎必有啤酒或其他烈酒,不時可以聽到「三字經」連珠砲發的舊式酒家,也許不是日本大阪飛田新地那種男人勝(性)地,卻絕對是麻甩佬另類尋歡的超正地方。我雖不算麻甩,既不貪杯,亦不愛講「三字經」,這次尋歡過後,可也不禁喜歡上這個麻甩天堂了。

和同事約了半年終於成功食到珠江洒家,6點先開鋪,嚴重建議先訂枱,當日見到幾次walk-in客都冇位。菜式特別,很多未試過的菜,豉油王鵝腸爽口好味,𧐢爽好大碟,味道偏重。樓面姐姐很客氣,我們早到了半小時,她也願意讓我們坐到夠鐘。所有菜式都很大碟,還有偏重口。價錢貴十幾蚊比起附近其他同類餐廳,所以如其去對面大排檔倒不如去這裡吃。這次可惜吃不到紅炆豬肉煲,聽說是這裡的招牌菜。希望下次能順利約到朋友再來。
