第一次來食,有好多款雞,茶香雞,華香雞等等,因為第一次食,開放式廚師,見到兩款雞,兩款都想試 ,又可以雙併,便決定雙併。


華香雞,店舖的招牌菜,確是有料到。雞帶咸香味,亦很爽口,不像有時食的切雞太硬或太軟,亦不會太油,難怪枱枱都叫華香雞。雞肉亦比較滑,不單是雞皮,雞肉亦相當入味。
茶香雞,看落似鼓油雞,但有淡淡茶味,也是爽口,而且好幸運,切了雞髀,
雞髀無敵啦,啖啖肉。

另外叫了薑葱大蝦。這個相當不錯,本來都不知有粉絲,粉絲吸了薑葱味及蝦味,送飯一流。蝦份量也相當多,而且吾細隻,薑葱亦入味。本人自己好喜歡蝦頭,蝦頭才是精華,爽。蝦亦新鮮,肉彈牙爽口,,$128有此份量,真是抵。

在觀塘工作最大的優勢是食肆林立,最近有朋友推薦位於工廈的華香雞,收工過後便決定一試。店鋪鄰近地鐵站,交通非常方便,餐廳座位數亦非常充足。他們主打切雞,我們點了雙拼茶香雞和花椒麻辣雞。雞件切口整齊,油雞香口,有陣陣燒香過的香味。兩款醬汁亦各有特色,薑葱油調味平均,不會被薑搶去味道,花椒麻辣的辣勁亦不算太強。點了切雞當然少不了飯,但單點白飯略有不足,我們於是點了煎黃飯煲。上枱時店員貼心提醒先讓飯在鐵煲上稍煮多一回便能享受飯焦的口感。我倆都一致認為此飯是必點之選,份量充足之餘又能和雞件互相輝映。最後追加了椒鹽蝦, 上枱時蝦在鐵板上吱吱作響,令人垂涎三尺。他們選用了大隻的虎蝦,蝦肉鮮甜爽口,而且還開邊並挑了蝦腸讓食客吃得安心,絕對是物有所值。

由於個蛋太好味,我仲好八掛咁問老闆個煮法係點,老闆同我地講話煮法唔難,但個要點係要用呢個木盤加鐵先會整得好味。咁即係話係屋企係整唔到,唯有想食時再嚟啦。

另外,均衡飲食,少不了一個菜。我地嗌咗個細盤既菜,份量都唔少咖,夠曬兩至三人食。

華香雞華香雞算是為人熟悉的老店,但這麼多年,幾經風浪,仍感受到老闆的用心經營,連裝薑黃飯的鍋或一些菜式的鍋也是精心挑選,可以保存食物的最佳狀態,既保溫又不會燶底。來這裡當然要點出名的華香雞配黃飯,我貪心,想試埋茶香難雞於是點了雙拼碟上。如果喜歡食飯焦的朋友可以鍋上,飯味更香。雞肉又香又滑,茶香雞帶有烏龍茶香,色澤亦較似豉油雞,配上健康的薑黃飯,真是午餐的不錯選擇。這天還點了欖角蒸鱔,鱔處理得很好,沒有腥味和泥味,好滑好香。加上用了可保溫的特別鍋上碟,不用擔心鱔放涼了變腥,十分貼心。而且沒想到原來欖角蒸鱔是這樣夾味,令到食雞已食飽的我還開多格胃來裝鱔。朋友還說下次要打包一份走做晚餐。

這天還點了欖角蒸鱔,鱔處理得很好,沒有腥味和泥味,好滑好香。加上用了可保溫的特別鍋上碟,不用擔心鱔放涼了變腥,十分貼心。而且沒想到原來欖角蒸鱔是這樣夾味,令到食雞已食飽的我還開多格胃來裝鱔。朋友還說下次要打包一份走做晚餐。

華香雞開業多年,一直都以傳統方式煮法的雞隻作賣點,而最傳統的招牌華香雞,就是滷水雞招牌也很傳統,位處觀塘工業區的成運一樓,走樓梯上就好。選擇除了10款不同煮法的雞之外,還有牛腩,排骨,鱸魚,素,菜,白鱔等等,可以配飯或者以智能煲上半隻茶香雞($90)比滷水更特色,帶點茶的澀味,不過不算很濃,加上雞本來有用一點滷水汁醃製過,所以甜中帶澀是不錯。薑蔥牛筋腩($53)只點了最便宜的,上桌時超大一鍋,牛腩超軟稔,湯底又不會太多冰糖,份量很大!差點沒有吃完呢!跟餐黃薑飯又是超大盤的細菜(金銀蛋芥蘭),又是超大盤!芥蘭也是爽甜,吃極都還有!

我地仲一人叫左一個例湯- 粉葛湯,香甜美味,好岩依家濕熱既天氣飲~
