今天在觀塘這邊工作, 相約了朋友吃飯, 工作消耗了不少能量, 需要吃點肉類補充, 發現這間主打吃雞的餐廳, 也蠻吸引的, 就在這裡吃吧。問一問店員, 知道晚上還有湯, 便order了例湯, 例湯一點也不像茶餐廳淡淡的質素, 它煲得夠濃而且很家常湯的樣子, 也幾大碗, 不太清楚實際是什麼湯, 但很健康的味道。叫了例牌招牌華香雞和烏龍茶香雞$70, 加$10轉雞脾, 它的肉質不是十分滑溜那種, 是有質感的肉, 兩款雞都香而入味, 帶點像煙薰的味道, 幾特別。另外點一個南瓜什菜煲配黃薑飯$53, 想不到什菜份量這麼多, 兩個人拼命的吃, 什菜有白菜和菜心, 如果可以再混雜一點就好, 南瓜味道出奇的甜, 黃薑飯偏軟和濕, 可能水落多了。發現價錢十分實惠, 吃得飽飽每人才幾十元, 有肉有菜, 店家主打健康養生, 不添味精色素, 吃得安心。

農曆假期和兩老跟團返國內兩日一夜,這團不論圍餐或自助餐都是以雞為賣點,有姜蓉雞、古法銀包雞、葵花雞等等,完全滿足晒愛吃雞的老爸,至於戎口的老媽就....齋睇無得食。回港後,老爸仍念念不忘,還細數多多款想吃的雞菜式,如醉雞、沙薑雞、白切雞、豉油雞,而最想吃就是客家雞,皆因他一向鐘情於客家菜。老爸一出聲又怎能不做野?馬上搜尋,找到有三十年歷史的老字號「華香雞」,位於觀塘的工廈裏。紅色的招牌高高掛,加埋牆身貼滿有關報導和介紹,好搶眼!內裏同樣搶眼,紅磚牆身鑲上一塊又金又紅的巨型招牌,有氣勢!而鮮黃色的椅子亦好吸晴。唔止呀!半開放式的廚房前方排放了一棟棟木盤,原來是用來盛載食物,既有特色,亦可能保暖。還有一隻隻鎮店的肥雞都是吸引之處。地方都幾寬敞,長方形格局,設有多張長枱,靠牆有二至四人枱,還有幾張大圓枱,可容納不少食客。只有一份餐牌,清晰簡單。除了五款鎮店靚雞外,還有十二款智能煲,當中六款是淨煲,包括滾菜、虎蝦、九肚魚、蠔仔、笋壳魚和豆腐,而另外六款就可配飯或淨煲,分別有牛筋腩、素齋、鮮雞、排骨、鱸魚和白鱔。每款類別也有不同的烹調方式,如椒鹽、仁稔、薑蔥、麻辣、欖角等,可讓客人揀喜歡的配搭。

今晚去左KWUN TONG 搵朋友食飯,佢介紹我黎到華香雞~佢話LUNCH 同同事食過唔錯,想帶我黎試試!一黎到睇個MENU,都幾多野想食~~先黎半隻招牌華香雞,味道有D 似豉油雞,食落雞肉嫩滑,蔥油D蔥都幾多,但味道唔會咸,唔錯~之後我地一人要左一碗「清補涼」~內有淮山、芡實、圓肉、杞子、蓮子、沙參、百合、玉竹、紅棗(去核)等等,仲加左豬肉、陳皮等;不寒、不熱、不燥,有滋陰、潤肺、生津功效,真材實料! 另外叫左個琵琶豆腐,入面D料同平時食開嘅唔同,整體上很滑, 而且很夠熱,超重要~~仲有個金銀蛋浸白菜仔係我暫時食過最好食,用左咸蛋黃做埋湯汁,有別於一般淨用上湯浸,味道特別~OVERALL 真係唔錯, 而且冇加一、冇茶位,好抵呀~~

公司附近最近開左一間新餐廳,主要賣點係食雞,約埋一個男同事試下。個餐牌有少少複雜,但服務員很耐性地講解,所以她介紹了我們雙拼,這樣就可以嘗試到招牌華香雞及烏龍茶香雞這兩種,再加煎黃飯煲。煎黃煲飯很特別,上菜時熱騰騰,黃薑味濃,飯底下仲會有飯焦,而且份量很大。華香雞及茶香雞,兩種雞肉很嫩滑,我個人偏愛茶香雞,有一種獨特的煙燻味。服務員還是給我們有薑䓤,辣醬等等,送飯一流的。還叫了清湯牛筋腩煲,上菜時也是熱騰騰的,清湯腩有嚼口,還有牛筋,味美極了。餐飲可以揀例湯或餐飲。

總結,就算好似我地2個人去食,抑或成大班家人/朋友去食都好合宜,因為環境寬敞舒適,食材烹調方式應有儘有,有雞有魚有肉有牛有菜,重點係味道高分~值得回頭!

今晚約了幾個波友去了觀塘食飯,其中一個觀塘人就帶了我們去這間華香雞店。餐廳位於工廠大廈內,地方寬敞。烏龍茶香雞半隻:雞皮被薰至焦黃色,帶著淡淡茶香,味道方面,茶香多自雞皮,雞肉的煙薰味較淡,肉質比較有咬口,半隻份量已足夠三人分享有餘。清湯牛筋腩煲:牛腩份量十足,雖然不是坑腩部位,但肉質都炆至很腍又入去,還帶些牛筋部位,入口溶化,清湯鮮甜。金銀蛋菜芯:菜芯煮得較腍,表面舖滿了大量的皮蛋及咸蛋,還有很多的炸蒜,要的是中鍋,份量等同外面的兩碟,超級抵食。

觀塘越開越多餐廳,今次就經過見到這間以雞為主題的小店,以智能煲為煮食工具,款式不算多但勝在便宜。薑葱鱸魚原條鱸魚開邊蒸焗,鱸魚肉質雪白,魚肉鮮甜嫩滑,魚鱗撤底去掉,魚皮乾淨,所以可以連皮一起吃,除了魚腩部份,魚骨不算多,還有魚春,以薑葱作配料,可以去掉魚腥味,亦能提鮮。烏龍茶香雞半隻茶香的煙燻味濃郁,尤其是雞皮必食,雞皮油脂較重,雞肉略嫌不夠嫩滑,但味道確實不錯。煎黃飯煲有驚喜的飯,一大盤飯底還帶飯焦,十分香脆,薑黃味都算香,還有些椰菜及蛋絲配料,飯就比較濕潤。

薑葱鱸魚

華香雞相信很多觀塘人也吃過,但相信不是每枱客人也點雞以外的食物,今日難得集結幾個朋友去食,必要試上新菜式。店舖位於東廣場,入內有個中式古典招牌,有點古時客棧的感覺。餐牌選擇滿多,由最平價抵食碟頭飯至煲仔小菜也有,雞、魚、蝦、蠔等煲仔價錢普遍一百左右。午餐決定每人點一個主食再額外加欖角蒸白鱔。主食當然是以雞為主,上菜速度滿快,點餐後不久就上齊。欖角蒸白鱔極驚喜的菜色,鱔片每片較薄灑滿大盆里,魚肉質柔嫩細緻滑溜,晶瑩剔透,入口欖角香滲在鱔肉里,味道鮮甜帶鱔香,沒有半點腥味。花椒麻辣雞一開始知道是麻辣醬加在華香雞上時有點失望,吃上覺得麻麻辣辣異常過癮。雞肉質軟滑帶韌性,雞皮薄而沒肥膏,麻辣中現雞香。

先講講個招牌華香雞,味道似豉油雞,雞肉嫩滑有雞味,蔥油都有很多蔥,味道唔會好咸!
煎黃飯煲亦都係這間店很出店的,聽店員講飯煲是他們公司特製的,可以做出飯焦!這煲飯大概可以分到2-3碗滿滿的飯,黃薑飯已經有味,還有紅蘿蔔絲、雞蛋絲和菜絲一起,淨係食個飯都已經好好味!
